Ashwin in anyways will be playing his last T20WC after that he will not be considered for T20I by the selectors. What he did with his bat on that day is purely based on his experience and not his performance.

He hasn't been contributing and he needs to be dropped but it all depends on the team management. Rahul Dravid has already clarified KL Rahul and DK. Rishab Pant might play tomorrow if DK is declared unfit otherwise these two guys will remain. Ashwin can get replaced by Chahal in tomorrow's match.

P.S: In today's match, Mark Wood bowled the fastest ball in T20WC which was 154 MPH.

Agreed. Ashwin is the best spin bowling option India has at this point, although his batting may not be as good as Axar. And Yuzvendra Chahal is nowhere in the picture as a spin bowling option. And now coming to the position of wicket keeper, it is a tough choice between Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik. The latter got a few chances till now and couldn't make use of them. His age seems to be catching up. I guess Indians can give a chance to Pant tomorrow, since their match is against a relatively weak team.

You are not making any sense here. His experience directly helped him deliver a great performance during the India vs Pak encounter. He is a vital cog of the team and shouldn't be dropped in my opinion.

Agreed. With three overs remaining, Zimbabwe are at 102/8. I don't think that they will be able to manage a total of even 120. If Netherlands manages to defeat Zimbabwe today, it will be the third instance in this world cup that an associate nation manages to defeat a test nation (previous instances are Namibia defeating Sri Lanka and Scotland destroying West Indies in the group stage). And Netherlands has done more than enough so far, to demand better treatment from the ICC (in terms of funding and status).

Now, it would be more interesting to see what will be the Kiwis bowling strategy. I am pretty sure England batters would like put on a target excess of 170 as in the night it will not be easy to bat for the Newzealand batters.

After losing from Netherlands I am also pretty much sure that they will face a stiff competition from Ireland. Netherlands did performed good today. Their bowling and fielding were the main reason why they were able to win today. The problem with Zimbabwe is that they are completely dependent on the performance of Sikander Raza.

Ireland is not in good form right now. They got one win against England (and that was also rain interrupted match), but in other matches they were disappointing. But if they are unable to finish within top-4 in their group, then they need to play the European qualifiers. But the catch is that there are only two slots available for teams from Europe and there are three very strong teams (Ireland, Netherlands and Scotland).  And for Ireland, the last remaining match is against a very strong New Zealand.

The same applies to you to as you are also not making any sense supporting a spin bowler who has not yet delivered wickets. He is not a batter niether is considered an all rounder but still as Indian team management after the Dhoni era does is to keep those who have experience and lack of form. As an example just wanted to say that It took more than two years for Kholi to get back to the same form where he was on 2019. Some good steps taken by the Indian selectors after Roger Binny was to drop these old hags and start focusing on newbies for 2024.

In T20 world cup cricket there is no record of Bangladesh where they win by defeating India with a having such a big score. I thought Bangladesh could win the match according to the DLS method but luck doesn’t favor them. They lost the match by 5 run where they need to collect 20 runs at the last over. It was really tough for them. They lost six wickets and all the top batsman defeated by Indian billowing action. No one could do well except Litton Das and Nurul Hossain. In the beginning we are hope to win the match but Bangladesh's batting has been greatly destroyed at the end.
