How many of you did bet on Pakistan? Odds (@2.26) good but I am sure none of us expected that the match will end up Pakistan defeating South Africa.

Pakistani openers and the middle order failed but their lower order was incredible. They lost 4 wickets in the first five overs but still they came back and batted which none of us might have expected. This is the problem with them they are not at all consistent.

After this win, still it will not be easy for Pakistan to get into the semifinals. The problem is with their NRR. The Indian team will be happy because of South Africa had won this match then they were likely to play against Newzealand in the semifinals.

Bad odds to be honest. New Zealand will most likely decimate Ireland, but I expected the odds to be closed to 1.25 or something which is why I feel that 1.11 is way too low.

I doubt anyone cares whether Ireland wins or not considering the fact that they have an extremely small fan-base. Honestly, teams like Zimbabwe and Netherlands impressed me a lot more when compared to Ireland in this tournament.

I am not denying the fact that Ireland is a small team with a small set of fans. But they do have some very dedicated fans here in India, although they may be small in number. And I would agree with you on Netherlands. Taking in to account the fact that now Ireland is a test nation and they are receiving larger amounts of funds from the ICC, it is natural to expect them to perform better than Netherlands. And although Ireland have one win (against West Indies) in the group stage, their performance was so far disappointing in the Super-12 (apart from their win against England).

Little's hattrick came towards the end, and it prevented New Zealand from making a total of 200 plus. He has been quite good in this tournament so far, taking a total of 11 wickets at an average of 17.18.

BTW, Afghanistan has chosen to field in their match against Australia. This decision surprises me, as they have a very weak bowling attack. Their star bowlers such as Rashid Khan and Mujeeb ur Rahman are not in good form and they never had quality fast bowlers. Cameron Green is included in the playing XI for Australia, along with Kane Richardson and Steve Smith. The match is taking place in Adelaide Oval, where the track seems to be supportive of batting.
