I have asked many times to Blockchain (dot) com to close my wallet but Blockchain just ignores me and doesn't close the wallet.
I have to close it for fiscal reasons and I can have a very negative impact due to Blockchain behavior.
I have a wallet with 1 Stellar XLM and Blockchain doesn't allow me neither to sell it, to send it nor to close the wallet.
Can someone help me?

You can not delete a wallet, a wallet is fixed and its histories of it are permanent. If you want to delete Blockchain accounts, refer to https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/5159481570076-How-can-I-delete-my-Wallet-account-. Just follow the step-by-step guidelines over the referred link, but unfortunately, it is currently only available on IOS. And regarding XLM, I believe there is a minimum amount for selling some funds. Again, you can not close the XLM wallet.

Well that's really unfortunate on your side because I have never seen a wallet that has been removed from blockchain rather they stayed there even the one that has been used by the early adopters of cryptocurrencies but you can still try the instructions above this post to have whether you can still remove it or not. But don't expect too much further think of other solutions or some plan B to get out of this trouble where you might gonna get some charges based on your crypto activities.

Just ignore and forget about it. AFAIK, they have an exchange and most exchanges have minimum amount to sell/buy. 1 XLM is just worth $0.11. Do you think that it will be allowed easily by that platform? I don't think so because you lack from the probable minimum amount of exchanging that they have. The best that you can is not to think about it anymore and forget them with your account.

I don't understand clearly what you mean by closing the wallet. But if you don't want the old wallet that you have used anymore, you just have to re-create a new wallet and ignore your old wallet. Maybe this is a reasonable explanation

This is why you are always advised to avoid using web wallets or custodial wallets. I always use wallets whose private keys you can control. To be able to close the account, you should move out the XLM to another address, which I think is possible.

Just leave it and forget it there, 1 XLM is equivalent to 0.11 USD as of now so what you're trying to get? If I didn't mistake, that 1 XLM come from their airdrop right you complied with the complete KYC, right? It's given above how to delete your account permanently but don't expect they will delete your documents submitted. However, just take note that you can't request to delete your account once it has a balance, it should be a zero balance based on the article that I've read. So might be a good step if you will deposit the required amount of withdrawal and then withdraw them all, just blindly accepting the cost of the fees because you wanted here to delete your account. To know more read this article. https://distinguished.io/blog/delete-blockchain-wallet.

I cannot just forget the wallet due to fiscal reasons in my country.
I read Stellar Lumen cryptocurrency has a minimum of 1 XLM per wallet by design.
But, it seems there's a way to destroy a wallet merging it with another one, sending the funds of the first wallet to the second wallet.
There's a tool online that seems to do it:
stellar.expert/demolisher/public
Does anyone know about this process?

I have asked many times to Blockchain (dot) com to close my wallet but Blockchain just ignores me and doesn't close the wallet.
Closing your wallet, what do you mean? Do you imply to delete your wallet? Delete a history of your wallet with past transactions which are recorded on a public ledger? You should know it is how blockchain works. Data is recorded publicly, stored decentralized, and can not be erased by anyone. When it was confirmed, it will exist on the network globally. I have to close it for fiscal reasons and I can have a very negative impact due to Blockchain behavior.
With blockchain, if you don't want to reveal any data about your IP, your balance, your wallet address, don't use it at beginning. Especially don't use custodial wallet like Blockchain.com wallet. I have a wallet with 1 Stellar XLM and Blockchain doesn't allow me neither to sell it, to send it nor to close the wallet.
When you use a centralized service, you must check their minimum amount for deposit, withdrawal as well as trading. If you deposit an amount that is smaller than the minimum, it will not be displayed in your account and on many exchanges, they emphasize that you will lose it. Exchanges have to consolidate small inputs from users and use it to proceed withdrawal request of users later. And you won't be able to trade if it is smaller than the minimum for trading. Some articles for you: - Does Blockchain.com charge fees for depositing and withdrawing crypto? . Min withdrawal for XLM is 10 XLM.

Did you mean you're live in a country where cryptocurrency is banned? well that's the risk of your decision, if you can't accept the risk, why you're using centralized coins and doesn't offer any privacy feature. stellar.expert/demolisher/public
Does anyone know about this process?
It just need your XLM address on your blockchain.com wallet, the other address that you want to move your coins, memo and private key. Even though this isn't phishing site, but I wouldn't take a risk to give my private key to them. You're just giving access for them to use your wallet. This mean @OP just need to send another 9 XLM into his blockchain.com wallet and then withdraw all of them to other wallet, but I think the fees is high and would cost more than 1 XLM which is not profitable.

This is so odd, going through all of this trouble for 11 cents seems like too much to me, the only explanation I can find for this is if in your country cryptocurrencies were recently banned and you identified yourself when using that service and now you need to get rid of those coins. If that is the case but you still have time before the law comes in effect you could deposit some additional XLM so you can send it out of that wallet, then you could always sent it to another address again and now you will finally be free of any suspicion coming from your government.

very difficult your problem and no one can help here. first, deleting or closing the blockchain wallet or deleting KYC data will not be possible because it is the policy of the blockchain itself. secondly, you send XLM on the blockchain it has a minimum withdrawal so if you want to withdraw 1 XLM you won't be able to, unless you deposit some XLM and after that you can withdraw all of them. but for me 1 XLM is not very valuable and also many say it's better to just leave that 1 XLM Closing your wallet, what do you mean?
maybe the OP means he got XLM from joining the KYC airdrop and he wants to delete the personal data that was sent on that blockchain

I opened that XLM wallet 3 years ago when there were not laws to monitor wallets and cryptocurrencies in my country.
I don't need to erase the wallet from Stellar Lumen blockchain (I know it's not possibile, it is how blockchains work) and I don't need to get rid of "Know Your Customer" personal data that blockchain(dot)com holds about me (absolutely no illegal activity with the wallet).
I just need to empty the wallet.
I suspect 10 XLM don't permit to empty the XLM custodial wallet from blockchain(dot)com. I suppose it can be the minimum to withdraw but in that case you can withdraw just 9 XLM because the minimum XLM per wallet is 1 XLM by blockchain design, if I'm right.

That is correct, Stellar account are designed to have a minimum balance that an account must have, a further explanation could be seen at https://developers.stellar.org/docs/fundamentals-and-concepts/lumens#minimum-balance. Back to the OP, what exactly do you mean by closing the wallet? As you have suspected correctly, you cannot empty your current XLM wallets. Nevertheless, there is a way to move the current account funds, into another brand new wallet.

As others in this thread have already mentioned, i don't think there is a way of deleting or closing your wallet because it is stored within the blockchain and therefore it will exist withing the blockchain basically forever. I also don't really understand why it needs to be deleted for fiscal reasons but if you need to prove to the authorities or someone else that this is not your wallet anymore then you could try to just prove to them that you can not access it anymore. Like generate a new password for blockchain.com and then throw it away or something like that, then it is basically not your wallet anymore, at least in my book.

I am very interested, what is this way? I could move funds from my 1 XLM blockchain(dot)com custodial wallet to a new non custodial wallet (even if I don't know how to open it at the moment) and forget about the new wallet.

You can of course stop if you wish. But have you spoken to the Surely support team?If you haven't spoken to support, be sure to speak to the support team and discuss your concerns with them. And even if they don't want to stop, you won't have a problem with canceling it. That has an XLM that cancels yours. You won't have any major problem with that.

You might want to look around about Merge Account. Within the Stellar system, there is an Account merge operation which could do the job, you can learn more at https://developers.stellar.org/docs/fundamentals-and-concepts/list-of-operations#account-merge. It requires manual intervention to execute the operations. Surely not an easy way to execute the operation for some people who lack technical skills. Fortunately, someone create an easy way how to execute the operation. You can refer to https://stellar.expert/demolisher/public. As a caveat, DYOR and DWYOR.

You can't close a wallet as far as I know, but you can make it inactive by now opening it. I have to close it for fiscal reasons and I can have a very negative impact due to Blockchain behavior.

Perhaps you don't have enough XLM to move it out, so my best guess is that you still have to deposit some before you can move it out. Again, if you are really interested then you can do that so you can empty our wallet. Otherwise, as I have said, you can't delete your wallet in blockchain, so it's your choice.

if you want to sell 1 XLM why do you have to close the account, you can take the wallet key provided by blockchain, please take your XLM wallet key in the blockchain wallet then go to Merge Tool in LOBSTR to deactivate your XLM wallet account, because XLM wallet must 1 XLM is available for activation if the funds are not available then the wallet will die, so you don't have to close your blockchain wallet account if you want to sell 1 XLM, please look for a tutorial on youtube how to merge XLM with LOBSTR and you can transfer 1 XLM to an exchange or other wallet I use blockchain wallet for several years and it is safe
