Your wallet need's updating is likely the cause.
I don't see any update for the Linux part at least,now I am going to check my work PC wallet as it run under Windows and see if this is the case,I will update immediately if this is the reason of such message but I have yet to see.
The wallet runs normally as I said and even when I go to console it says,attacks from scammers are going on,make sure you know the commands to type in the console before proceeding,of course I never use the console but that surprised me that scammers are attacking this coin which is worthless in FIAT right now at 0.002 dollars as value.

This is a generic warning about using Console without knowledge of how it works. As far as I know it comes from Bitcoin, and is present in all forks unless removed.
It definitely does not say "attacks from scammers are going on".
