This is what makes gambling addictive, whenever you win and earn money from it, it attracts you to play more and win another game, I've been in this situation before so many times, there are times that whenever I keep on winning, it makes me more active and it gives me more energy to play even though it is already time to sleep, there is also some time that I already forgot to sleep because it is already morning.

There are also some instances that when you are already losing, it also makes you feel to play more and turn back the money that has been lost from you, so I suggest if you wanna gamble you should have disciplined and always know your limitations. be contented with your wins

If you are playing gambling for example slots and you double money with just a couple of bets on very early part of your game. Will you stop already or continue playing to earn more?

I’ve been on this situation many times before and I keep playing until I get the entertainment that I want and to have more profit. But the result is always ended up losing everything because it’s very easy to increase bet if you knew that your money that you use is a profit.  Cheesy

Well it all depends on how much I've doubled. You don't expect me to quit playing for the day because I doubled my one thousand naira for Instance, I have to keep playing because I already have a target to achieve before leaving the house and if along the line, I meet my target even earlier, I still wouldn't have to leave especially if I have nothing doing back home.

Gambling is addictive most times especially when you're on the winning side, you would want to put more effort for a greater reward and most times end up losing.
Putting more efforts could be, putting more money and maybe betting on higher odds

You need to be careful, I could understand if this happened to people once in a while as no one has perfect control over their impulses and their emotions, but if this is something that happens to you with some frequency then it is time to put some attention to it.

Because as you say the desire to keep gambling can be incredibly strong in some people and this could cause them to gamble for a lot longer than what they planned and to spend more money than what they had in mind too, and neither of those options is healthy at all if you want to keep control over your gambling.

If it is about entertainment one has the right to play the way he wants but if it is about playing to make profit it is better to play ones , no need to continue to play.
Continous playing and expecting a win and at the end it turns up to be lose can lead to depression.
When someone was winning big amounts of money. Im sure that he/she will not even see that as an entertain anymore. People may call that as an entertain when they were bet with small amounts of money but once they will be winning like 500x multiplier and then they will be withdrawing their money. You ust also aware if we are still in the crisis and so many people need money. that proves that if there's no need to continue to gamble it but you may try to left small amounts of money in your wallet and then withdraw the rest.
Im sure that mostly of people will be withdrawing their money to their wallet rather than holding it even longer.

Some still see it a a form of entertainment despite winning big. However, most of them already see it as another source of income to make profit from the moment they consecutively win big after several attempt of betting. Initially, the thrill becomes their driving force to gamble, but as the time goes by and their winnings increase further, they become driven by the money it might bring them.

Although it must still be remembered that gambling isn't a shortcut to becoming wealthy or becoming a successful person. Because in the first place, there is no such thing as shortcut. Self-awareness must be practiced so that anyone won't be lost in their gambling journey.. Once you win, you should also assess the situation on when to continue and when to stop to avoid inflicting damages to oneself. Thinking about where to use the money the moment you withdraw is needed too, since as you've mentioned most people will withdraw their money instead of holding it. Checking where to intelligently put that fund can be beneficial to someone if they will do the right thing.

if your goal is entertainment it doesn't matter, all there are ways to enjoy life including in other people's opinion it's risky. Many think that playing is just spent without seeing the fun in it. Far from in previous years many have sacrificed time like you. then if it's not free in my opinion, it's an individual right to access it. maybe in the future there will be more games than now which of course will be covered with the latest technology such as slots. Casino and other games
Yes, we should play gambling because we want to get entertainment from gambling rather than forcing ourselves to chase more winning money, especially if we can get big wins in a short time. That means we have become greedy and that greed is not good for us because if we continue, no one will know if we can win some more money or lose more money, even though we have already won large winnings.
If it is about entertainment one has the right to play the way he wants but if it is about playing to make profit it is better to play ones , no need to continue to play.
Continous playing and expecting a win and at the end it turns up to be lose can lead to depression.
If people who often gamble can realize this, I don't think there will be people who will experience depression, let alone have the desire to commit suicide because of a big loss. But that's what's happening all around us. People tend to want to recover their losses next time and if they win big, they still play with the assumption that it is part of the money they made in the process of recovering their previous losses.

But it would be better if they could stop immediately when they got a big win, especially if they could win a lot of money in a short time. It would be worth more to get than keep trying to recover their other losses.

If I doubled my money in just a couple of bets I would absolutely continue to play. I usually play because I want to entertain myself. I will follow at least half of the planned time for me to play in order to at least protect my gains. And nowadays I don't gamble big amounts unlike before the COVID pandemic, so doubling my money is not much for me. Maybe a few hundred dollars of profit would make me think of stopping or at least making a limit on my next bets so I can still take home some profits.

So for me, what matters is my playing time and the amount of the gain.

I think for anyone who's not risking big amounts, doubling their money isn't something significant. If you make $0.10-$0.25 bets, like I mostly do, doubling is nothing, right? Sometimes I continue playing even after hitting 100x, but if it's 400x or more, I stop right away. I'm not withdrawing the money I won. I will be betting with them in the future, but not the day I won them. I want to enjoy my winnings for some time.

It really depends on how we will tolerate ourselves after experiencing a big win. Sometimes, if we won big, there's a thing inside our mind telling us to continue gambling because after all, we are lucky. If we stop, we might not win again. That will now test how far we will continue to play.

As much as we can, always put a limit after a big winning. Maybe just risks around 10-15% of our total winnings.

It's ok to gamble again but we should at least enjoy the big money we won.
