Ethereum Reboot - Back to Origin

Ethereum Reboot (ETHR) is the original version of Ethereum Protocol powered by Proof of Work (PoW) consensus. We, the Ethereum Reboot team aim to keep the core vision of pre-merge Ethereum alive by rebooting Ethereum with the original Proof of Work with Ethash algorithm.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

So, I have to ask... How will ETHR be different from ETHW?

ETHW is a hardfork of Ethereum, meaning it contains the same chain / database of Ethereum since 2015. But ETHR is a new chain built from 0 (genesis) block.

Thanks for confirming what I feared. It is not possible to mine on 4GB cards.
Same thing happened to me on ETHW, the dag started with more than 5GB, many 4GB cards ran out of chance

Got it, thanks.  Starting DAG will be ~1GB?
