FanDuel basketball question

So I’m fairly new to FanDuel I’ve only been playing for maybe 2 months toronto raptors all games, but I can’t figure out the NBA I always come up short every time my main thing is how do pick when it’s so many games ? Do you pick more from early games that’s at 7pm or late games that’s at 10pm ? Or is it just luck ?
