How would the world be if Bitcoin wasn't created

Share your thought on this .. what do you think would have been situation if Bitcoin was not created

Many people would have still be struggling with finance doing 5 to 9 jobs daily just to put food on the table.

There would have been no bitcointalk where we all come to discuss issues related to Bitcoin and it's ecosystem.

There would have been no means by which we can transfer money to a family member or friend living in any part of the world in few minutes.

There would have been no other way to invest our money for long term rather than banks whereby we have no control over our funds, unlike using Bitcoin whereby it's decentralized and gives us control over our finance.

I completely agreed with this all because life could be not like we have right now I am personally having too many benefits and other developments in my life due to this which are helping and giving good advantages just because of this bitcoin few years back I have no security for my financial independence and things were completely under others control but after joining bitcoin community now I have few big changes and improvement in my life.

This ecosystem allows me to send and receive my funds freely without any help and just because of this now I have things which I never have in my dream that I can achieve these quickly because one of my neighbors have the best life after 25 years job and I achieve this all in just age of 22, so this is the biggest advantage for them from this bitcoin.

Yup till now many people treat Bitcoins as a source of investment. Some treat Bitcoins as a profit generating asset. I mean if Bitcoins aren’t created then still many people would have find the replacement of these. People if they want to invest, they could have invested in Stocks instead of Bitcoin. In order to generate profit instead of putting money in Bitcoin, they could have done gambling with their money. So if we see practically then yes no proper impact have Bitcoins left on the world.

Bitcoin is very new market as compared to stock or any other trading market. It will be a matter of time that we will start seeing the impact of Bitcoin on our lives and on this world. One thing we have to admit is that Bitcoin is making a strong impact in terms of receiving payments globally. Today if you are bitcoin aware then you are in better position to receive funds from anyone, something not possible without bitcoin.

Many people are thinking of other ways to make money. There are many people who have become rich because of Bitcoin, but there are also many people who have lost their money because of Bitcoin.
The world will not change much. Other innovative technologies would have been discovered without Bitcoin.
Bitcoin does bring a lot of convenience to people.

There are people who think of the positives of bitcoin than they think of its side effect. Those who are hit badly and into losses by bitcoin will tell you that bitcoin is the worse investment they got into and will say to hell with bitcoin. I also think what you said that it is true bitcoin brought convenience to people but without it the world will not change much. Bitcoin is not the absolute.

It's very hard to imagine a world which is without bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Crypto has become a major part of our life and we will not feel good without it. Life would seem empty without bitcoins.
 
For a moment think of a world without internet ? It is beyond imagination. Although crypto is not fully adopted yet and many people never use bitcoin but still it is hard to believe that there can be a time when there would be no crypto currencies.

It's very hard to imagine a world which is without bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Crypto has become a major part of our life and we will not feel good without it. Life would seem empty without bitcoins.

It's not so hard to imagine. The most we've got to do is think back to at time in the years before 2009 when bitcoin was created. We are going to have conditions as that prevailing where the closest to having online payments would be bank transfers, coupon chips for discounts and more of those.

Definitely a time I don't wish to go back to. Where not just the government but your neighbours would have some trail on you, that's such a poor way to live. Not only limited to that but, you've got a limited choice of investment and what profits you can hope to get would spawn through a much longer time.

People like us, maybe.  But the average human would not feel a difference if Bitcoin did not exist.  We have yet to live the day more people start looking for freedom and Privacy, leaving comfort away.  And I am not entirely sure we will live that day.

If bitcoin had not been invented, then there would be no alternative cryptocurrencies. 

There would be no world decentralized computer - Ethereum cryptocurrency.  If Bitcoin had not been created, then we would know Vitalik Buterin as a brilliant creator of computer games.  DeFi and NFT would not exist. 

Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC) would not have been created.  Perhaps this would help to avoid the construction of digital concentration camps in many countries. 

At the same time, in this scenario, private centralized currencies of IT corporations would probably appear in large numbers.  Perhaps the largest IT corporations would challenge the sovereignty of states, declaring their own claims to power and influence.

I also think if Bitcoin hadn't been created, it's possible that the development of blockchain technology would have been slower and traditional financial systems like commercial banks, brokerage firms, loan associations etc would continue dominating the economy.

Blockchain and bitcoin was created together, it would have been created together again, they go hand in hand and not differently so when bitcoin was invented, so did blockchain.

To be precise about the history of bitcoin, there were some previous attempts back in the day and most of them failed because they were not backed by something as solid as blockchain, so when Satoshi Nakamoto finally figured out the trustless system of blockchain where everyone was equal and nobody controlled anything, it became a lot better and bitcoin became famous because of this and none of the previous ones ever reached that level. I hope that it will get bigger, but it is already at a legendary level to me.

Formation of bitcoin has revolutionised many things in the world. Whether it is forcing develop new powering CPU or establishing huge mining industries around the globe we would have missed all of that.

All the countries would have had those boring financial budgets and none of the financial institute would have been so much active.
