As a responsible gambler, I know we don't let gambling change our lifestyle. If today is your luckiest day ever in gambling,on your first game you won the sum of $50 000.

I wish this will happen to me, so my reaction will be, to withdraw majority of the money so that I can enjoy it. But then leave some on the casino and continue to play at some point in time.

Or will you just remain quiet,happy and living a your normal way of life but investing the money into something profitable without telling anyone ?

To be honest, it's not that huge money, yeah, you can buy a house in our country or even a car, but the problem is, can you sustain your lifestyle if you change it just because you won $50k.? I guess you need to be smart, maybe invest some of that money to crypto but I don't think it will completely change your lifestyle.

You can’t escape the fact that you can’t quit gambling especially if you already win big amount. You will still keep coming back and the safest way you can do to limit your loss is just play safe but it’s very hard to totally on gambling because you will spend some portion of your profit and you will be tempted to gambling again to recover your expenditures. This process will keep repeating even as long as you are winning. The only way to way to quit gambling for good is when you lose everything that you get profit on gambling somthat you lose the will to gamble again.

I’ve been on this same situation many time but not that 50,000$. My profit is significant and I become addicted playing everyday to keep adding profit whenever I’m spending. I just decided to quit when I lose huge part of my profit and decided to save the remaining money.

I will have to withdraw that money, everything, I don't want it to get stuck in some casinos. And who knows, you might have a hard time withdrawing it because it's already huge amount and you might have to go to KYC procedure.

It wont change anything, maybe you can buy a brand new car and that's it, just the closest that you can show of to your friends. So better just live a normal life invest that amount to something profitable not just for your but for your families, your kids or maybe invest it to their education.

It's easy for someone to say get everything out and don't come back. But base on my experience, gamblers who won big are going to play again and again and who knows, that $50,000 will be gone in just a couple of days.

I will pause gambling for a while, settle down and arrange properly what I will invest with the winning and diversify abit in making menial business along side, then i will caution myself not to spend more than $20 a day in playing gamble and if i must participate in playing then it has to be occasional, maybe twice a week and not everyday routine that will eventually ended yp getting back the money

That's bad enough, i wouldn't do such, i will remain where i am amd soend wisely because i know where i was coming from and wouldn't want to end up back into the pit if lack and poverty, so planning well and spending wisely is very important here else the whole money got finished unaware without anything to show forth for it and this will be the worst experience to have wasted such lifetime opportunity.

I do both options that I usually do when I win decent amount in gambling.
¹I do not withdraw it immediately as I will continue for more bets to see how it goes.
²I withdraw at least 75%-90% and then keep playing with the rest.
I cant say which one I prefer or which one I do most because I do it randomly based on my feeling at the time of winning.

I will withdraw immediately but I will not exhaust the funds to zero. I will definitely leave some for another round of a game.
The profits though will go to something better. Not changing the lifestyle but more like securing it. Buying necessities, making your wife and kids happy even just for a short amount of time but memorable. If it can buy things that are needed in the house then do so, that's also an investment.
If there's still some left then take a long-term investment so you won't be touching it while you are losing the funds that are left to gamble more.

Exiting a game while winning looks way easy to some people but sincerely its hard for some greedy gamblers. A friend once place a bet on football match he was already on his way to win more than a 10000x amount of the staked money. With only a game left he had the opportunity to cashout like 8500x of the money but he kept looking at totally wins. The game was supposed to be in his favour but immediately the match started, the gamble back fired. So it's not easy going home even when you are winning big.

Weeeelll, I would love to be able to say that I would choose the smart path, which is to keep my winnings and know when to stop. But reality can be a bit disappointing. Meaning I could very well see myself losing everything just because I "felt" like I was in the moment of a lucky streak or something. I am only human too and casinos are designed to be psychologically stimulating for risk takers like most gamblers.

That being said, I still think that it would be a better choice to take the money and go home. Maybe invest it into something useful like 50 different, promising start ups.

Chances are if they win and say $50,000 surely they will play for a while because of the excitement of winning big and the rest is still too big so they can still withdraw their money for other necessary needs.
But I myself will certainly leave a balance in the account of about 5% to be able to play it again and not entirely use it.

I'd continue playing but only with my deposit amount and then after that, i'll withdraw everything. Then for the money, i'll probably invest it and continue living the same way since i'm currently happy with my situation and  I think the money i've won from gambling is better spent elsewhere. There's nothing wrong with the first two options but the last option just seems better overall in the long run, when you look at it in a different way you could get more value out of your money.
