It really depends what you consider a big win, possibly in comparison to your existing income because for some people out there $50,000 would barely make a dent in their finances for one year - it'd be a a small win. If you invested it wisely then $50k could start to produce you a nice little steady income in the form of dividend payments if you were to move it into the stock market but most gamblers would fritter it away as fast as they got it. That is the paradox of a gambler, they will lose and they will win, but often they will keep on playing just because it is a habit they've formed that they chase blindly. Those in self control would be lucky to win such amounts and likely withdraw it to pay off part of the mortgage.

unfortunately, most gamblers go back to play again after winning big. not many people will withdraw their winnings and buy tangible assets. gamblers are gamblers and if they don't know how to contain themselves, they usually end up losing all those winnings.
but in my case, if i really won a significant amount of money, i may allot it to small business or real-estate property. still, i will live just like nothing happened. people around you will have different approach if you boast about your winnings, some may even think of robbing you if you are not careful to whom you are telling about your fortune.

$50000 isnt really something that you could brag on or make yourself change in lifestyle.So this means it is really depending on where you do live because 50k is really just too small
on making yourself live on a place or country but there are places which this is already a big amount.Stopping would be completely be depending on someones decisions.

If I make that kind of money I can relocate to a better environment if that's in my plan, but I can never forget about my old friends. I will definitely upgrade my lifestyle, I will get myself all the necessary things I need, you don't expect me to have money then I won't be able to get myself things I need at that moment, if I needed to get myself new car or get myself a new house, I will definitely do things like that, why will I have money then I won't be able to spend it. ^ I don't understand why you forget your old neighbors and friends but instead if you don't want to give them, you can still keep quiet and enjoy your winning. Since I occasionally gamble, if I won that big amount, I split it into 80/20%, the 80% is my saving or the amount that will change my normal life and the rest 20% is the amount that willing to lose again in gambling. There should be always a limit when you are in gambling, this is how to manage risk, if you will run away after winning a big amount, for sure when there is no one left in your winning, for sure you will keep coming back hoping to win on that big amount again.

I would look at it in a very similar fashion as I do my work paycheck.  I would save most of it and for some of it I would put it back in to the betting market.  More thank likely I would take most of it and split it up between a mix of stocks, ETFs, gold/silver, and bitcoin.  Diversification is key and this would be no different of a situation.

I also set aside some of my salary for stocks such as gold, silver, bitcoin and other crypto, because I think that is the only way to be able to make our finances well maintained, if the problem of big wins in gambling does not occur to me at all, because it is very difficult to get a big win in a gambling, if I can get a big profit the main thing I do is I will put my money into another asset, to be able to get a profit in the future.

Exiting a game while winning looks way easy to some people but sincerely its hard for some greedy gamblers. A friend once place a bet on football match he was already on his way to win more than a 10000x amount of the staked money. With only a game left he had the opportunity to cashout like 8500x of the money but he kept looking at totally wins. It might be difficult but I would ensure that I would not increase my stakes but would still my maintain my usual bets. I would ensure that all the basic needs my family was lacking would be met immediately. It would also be good to reach out to friends and families that are going through some financial challenges. But I would never live a lavish life or show off my wealth. Doing that might attract criminals or corrupt law enforcement agencies. Living a modest life even in the midst of wealth is one of the key ways of living a tension-free life. Except you have plans to set aside funds for personal security.

If I manage to win that huge anount, I would immediately stop playing and control my adrenaline from playing more. $50k is already a huge amount if converted to our local fiat which is equivalent to almost 3 million. I can already buy a fully furnished house and have a business using that amount. I won't live a lavish lifestyle and also avoid telling to many people that I won a huge amount from gambling because they would definitely ask for some money to lend them.
