Thinking of creating a thread to give a small prize in Bitcoin.

As I have said in several threads, I give regularly and, as a result, ideas of how to give are going around in my head.

I am thinking of creating a thread in the gambling section, later, probably at Christmas, which could consist of publishing a hand that I have played, without showing the final result, so that anyone who wants to participate can analyze it. I would give a prize for the best analysis, which could consist of 0.0025 or 0.005 Bitcoin in current purchasing power or whatever it is at the time I publish the thread (between $50 and $100 if you prefer).

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't break any rules with it and that I shouldn't have to ask permission but I'd rather ask with this thread just in case.

I don't have any information about poker and I don't really know how your giveaway will work, but since you are going to pay the winner(s) with bitcoin and not with an altcoin, I don't think there's any problem with your topic.
"Games and round" should be suitable for such a thread.

My take from theymos' post: asking people for their analysis would be allowed on the Gambling board, as long as there's no prize involved. By adding a Bitcoin prize, it becomes incentivized posting which belongs in Games and Rounds. But Mods or Admins can make an exception, so I'd say ask either Cyrus, hilariousandco, mprep or theymos if you want such an exception.

Actually I don't care if it's in one place or another, because when I give I don't expect anything in return (as it would be in this case that the posts I publish in that thread count for the weekly quota), so, if I do it, which I think will probably be at Christmas, it will be in the Games and Rounds board.

I think Poker Player should consider to post it in the Gambling or Gambling discussion section instead of games and rounds. This does not look to me a lottery type or round. It's more than that. Those who keep spamming gambling boards (Including me 🤣) will have a great subject to discuss. It deserves to be in the gambling section to have more visitors. Move it brother.

I'd like to hear from moderators or even from Sir theymos. Otherwise I think I will move it tomorrow.

The correct board location will help bring those members searching for like minded threads onboard. As the actual giveaway already exists in Games and Rounds maybe this thread should be locked.
