I personally don't like to share my winning to my social media and this forum because if I post my winning amount, the losses amount is higher than my winning, so it's just make me to not show a real condition of my gambling history. People that always do thus are media influencers. It could be that they are paid by some gambling companies to always post and advertise their site. Another thing could be the person gives people prediction and takes money. So they will post more and more winnings so that people will believe them that they are very good in winning bets, by then they will have more customers and make more money than they win.

No, I disagree.. it is not just paid Social media Streamers that are doing this... there are a lot of people that are not streamers, but they simply want to brag with other gamblers about their winnings.

Take the Stake.com English Chat for instance... people post their latest wins all the time and then people will start the "begging" for rain, just after it was posted. A lot of those people are doing it... for self gratification ....and others are doing this to show the other gamblers that they won against the house.

Aside from it's a bad habit since it can develop into addiction in the long run, it's really not good to post your winnings because you also put yourself in danger. Unwanted people like criminals might monitor your movements and possibly harm you when they get the chance. Even your relatives are at risk because someone might use them as a leverage to extort money from you.

To be honest, sometimes I post screenshots of betting on social media, in this case football betting. not infrequently too, I post parlay bets on social media, there's nothing wrong with that.
and IMO, it's no different than posting other things that are still related to betting. similarly, when I get a big profit from trading BTC and then post it on social media.

this is purely just personal satisfaction without being influenced by the motive of wanting to look cool, great or anything like that.  so I guess, related to the OP's post, everyone will be different and go back to their own individual. as well as how you see it, the perspective will certainly be different.

Regarding habits, anything in excess will have a bad impact.

it is the attitude mate, even without posting in social media but if you are a kind of person that don't wanna give up easily? then you will keep chasing no matter what.

There are different reasons why anyone would do this..

1. The person might be doing so to promote the gambling website, maybe the dev are paying him or her.

2. The winnings might not be genuine, they might be doing this to lure people like you who can't take their eye off others winnings online.

Also someone talking or posting their winnings doesn't mean they will end up losing I have never heard of such before.

If your goal is to build a good statistics and then you are planning to show that off in social media, then yes you will chase or recover your past losses but that is something that is hard to do and can only lead you for more losses but if your only goal is to show off a win then that is more doable.

I think you will know if someone is following you or admire your gambling post because they will like your post, comment or message you privately about it. It's important that we will be honest and humble. Admit to them that you cant always pull off a win because this was gambling and not some kind of an atm machine. That way you will not be pressured and try too much.

Its like flexing what he achieve for the day and maybe they don't worry about doing those because maybe they know that their family members will just ask low amount or will not care about those money. TBH, I don't know the feeling of it because aside from the fact that I only gamble a few times, I'm not posting anything on social media at all.

It depends on the person I guess because there are some who are just posting their winnings on social media because they wanted to. There are some who are posting it on social media because they want to brag their winnings and that's very unhealthy if you will ask me. I also have friends on Facebook who is posting their winnings in gamble such as Dice, Bingo if you are familiar with and Roulette, but most of the time I only ignore it.

I also don't know why in the hell they are posting their winnings. I mean isn't it dangerous because posting it means you have more money and more money equals more attractive to criminals?

I don't know what some sort of gamblers stand to benefit from announcing themselves tobthe public than doing them much harm beyond expectations, as long as I can't post all my losses made on social media then there's no need to begin to announce myself online, this sounds a little of being inmature enough, those little things like that get some gamblers freaked to the extent of loosing control in excitement, winning such amount maybe consider as nothing to some because they have bet with higher amount to the one he just won.

Maybe it means a lot to those who often flaunt themselves, getting big wins from gambling. I often saw a friend of mine who did it often, either in gambling or trading. And sadly, they don't want to say much about how they got it, so many of us don't like it.

They can do it for marketing purposes and to grow their social medias and channels. The more people following them, more money they can make through referrals and advertisements. In order to do this, they have to show positive and progressive results along the time, so others will follow them in an attempt to reproduce the same results. I believe it doesn't lead to addiction, because people doing this kind of content are aiming profit through increasing their audience. If they become addicted to gambling, they won't be able to profit from this activity anymore and won't be able to keep uploading content to their public, since they will be bankrupted at some point.

I must be honest with you, i think this on a higher percentage depends on the individual, i for my self know that i can never chase loses for the sole purpose of have some winnings to show to my followers, i understand there are people who would go out of their way to please their followers, that is, giving them something to talk about always.
I know of someone in my area who posts fake winnings on his twitter are Instagram page, if for like two or three days he's not been able to secure any win, he will use the photoshop tool to edit his previous winnings just to have something to share with his followers, i honestly would not advice any one to go after their loses all in the name of trying to have something to share with their followers, in this process, they can end up loosing even more money.

I do not think its a good idea to train yourself to bet for social media clout to become popular.

When it comes to betting, there is no such thing as "the most popular" way to bet. Its just not possible because the only thing that decides if you win money or lose money is luck. Or more clearly said, mathematical probability.

The probability of winning in the lottery or sports betting is much lower than winning in simpler games, such as Blackjack. So this might be "most profitable".

But either way, you should not go into gambling with a "I am doing this to make myself a social media star" mindset. You are only setting yourself up for failure and catastrophic, emotional betting after said failure.

There are people who do really love on getting praised by the people around or on social media which it do really satisfied him/her.This is why we do see that some do really eager on playing just to have some

show off into their profiles and be praised which they do really like to hear out.Some doesnt care and some do really matters, this is why it do raises up some question on why the hell they would really be doing
that which they do know that they could really be having huge losses if they do keep on playing and chasing wins?
