Acquiring of Twitter by Elon Musk seems to be the reason for the sharp price increase of dogecoin. Whenever something done by Elon Musk, people always make a connectivity. Whether he adds any service to dogecoin or not, it is the people's belief that there'll be positive outcome on dogecoin. Same pumps the price, even now similar incident have market Bounce amidst the fluctuation with rest of the coins.

The doge's price increase in recent days is definitely related to the news that Elon successfully bought twitter and not to bitcoin. Doge is easily manipulated by Elon at any time. It will be interesting if Elon becomes a part of twitter, the coin will continue to increase in price despite the drop of bitcoin.

we have seen that last year when ELon had also an announcement and Boom Doge climb so high. but this time? not that high compared to last year so maybe we need to find ways to trust this investments.

Naysayers are worried the price shoots up too high in a matter of days. It was just $0.06 last week and it doubled already. Can't wait for it to go more than $0.50 again. The dogecoinmillaire youtube suddenly woke up to show his Robinhood again lol

I don't think it's advisable to buy doge coin right now. I see manipulation in the market. Elon influence is surely there but I don't think there is any bull run for doge anytime soon

Initially when he made the tweet it rose to +$0.7 lot of people were expecting the price to get $1 leading to people to fall into bull trap. A friend of mine was a live witness where she came to meet me about buying dogecoin and I told her don't buy she refused after awhile it dumped from $.8 to $.1 and she lost all her investment.

It will surely hurt his followers if it turns out that this is just a trick carried out by Elon to profit from the increase in Dogecoin. But we also don't know if this is the effect of bitcoin's rise that has already occurred and can stay at $20k or if this is just a breath of fresh air for his followers to take advantage of the current bear market conditions. In the end, we'll see what happens later and when the bitcoin price drops again, Dogecoin will surely get a correction and could go deeper than before. So be careful to invest in Dogecoin and only use the money you can afford.

You guys need to becareful with Dogecoin. You need to realise that its still mineable and if the price is something like $1 a doge. The miner revenue per month will be $500,000,000. Obviously its not sustainable.

Recently, especially since the SNL skit, all the pumps were faded and today we had a double top. Plus there are lots of bag holder who want to get out. I would be extremely careful with Dogecoin in a bear market. You can get burnt.

It's because all of the doge followers actually think elon is going to pit doge onto Twitter and make doge relevent.  Unfortunately doge is useless without the help of one person.  That is enough to scare anyone away from owning doge.  Dependent literally on one person up and down.  Will never be able to handle the sell pressure when elon gets bored of doge.

While it is true that people need to be more careful I doubt they will actually listen, what they care about is that dogecoin is presenting a good performance and they want to have some of those profits, this is even more prevalent now that we are in bear market and as such the performance of most coins has been terrible during the last months, however even with all the hype surrounding dogecoin right now I would not be surprised if we were to see that coin crashing as I do not see how such a high price can be maintained.

This is a bad move because only crypto influencers and crypto lovers will remain on Twitter as time goes on, this is not a one time verification fee but constant renewal every month, this is very bad for someone like me who doesn't monetize his Twitter account.

Seriously? The sudden increase of Dogecoin is not connected to bitcoin's short rally to $20k and there's no way that there will be more investors who will put some of their funds on Doge just because of that increase and investors have already learned their lessons not to mess with memecoins again as they are more unpredictable.

The true reason why Dogecoin is now trading at that price is because Elon Musk is working again to hype it and some are trying to ride the hype train again hoping that they could board before it sets again. OP should know and be aware that it's not for long-term and I'm quite sure of that.

For those types of people who depend on the hype caused by the influencers then they are willing to take risk and will accept if they lose big but for us, we can't simply stand investing in meme coin so we just stick on the the safer coins instead.

Btc, eth and other top coins still shows an increase sometime but the only problem is that they can't sustained that gains but it's reasonable since we are still in a bear market. If top coins can collapse then why not meme coins like dogecoin? But in case they collapse, it's going to be huge because they are only being manipulated and the ones behind the manipulation ensures that they can profit big.

What is interesting of all of this is that those which are investing in dogecoin thinking that Elon is going to implement it on Twitter still have no solid evidence this is going to be the case, it is true that Elon stated this was a goal of his but that was before he owned Twitter, now that he is the owner he does not need to actually follow through with that vision if he believes this is the wrong direction for Twitter, so if at some point it is announced this will never happen the crash dogecoin will go through will be massive.

For me, In Dogecoin, Yes. It was a small pump. But for Bitcoin, it's nothing to do with Twitter and Elon Musk.

Elon has very little to do with crypto market movements outside of dogecoin.  He isn't going to single handedly move bitcoin one way or another.  Big is way to big for one person or even one country to move.  Those days of Singular events moving bitcoin price are well behind us.
