Do you like commission job or salary base job?

both are good if paid well. and most of the time it depends on the situation as well - while I was jobless in COVID I was ready to work any job.
I even worked for hours to get my $ 5 online when I started as a freelancer. That was very tough time I went through

If you can still make 5$ in a day when conditions are tough like during Covid. That means you have to be more grateful because you basically still have the luck to make money every week, even if it's not a big size. But it's still better because you can still survive on that income if you manage it sparingly for your life.

You must know that in difficult conditions not everyone can make good money, but everyone keeps trying to earn money in order to survive in difficult conditions. And you are very lucky because you never complain to keep working in any condition when you face unusual conditions.

You are right. when our economic situation and condition is in difficult times (unemployed) then all kinds of jobs with commission or fixed salary are not even a reference. because when we are in difficult times, we must first have a source of income. But when our economy is gradually improving. then we become more courageous in choosing between jobs on a fixed salary basis or on a commission salary basis. and both have their own advantages and disadvantages.

I do not have a boss who will tell me what to do, I can take a day off whenever I want, and my earnings depend only on myself, in general, I have to work a lot, but it doesn’t bother me, because I feel free.

Good for you but not all people can be a business owner because it requires capital and good management skills to properly manage it to become profitable. Entering business industry unprepared will just waste your time and money compared when you have a job with fixed profit. I try to do business before but fixed bills and employee salary is killing me that makes me  move back to my old job and aim to be promoted for a better salary.

I’m not risking anymore on business but that doesn’t other should follow my path. If you have the capability to do it then push it since that’s the fast estimate to climb the ladder to success.

Like you, I also failed to run a small business, I believe that everyone wants freedom, wants to be the boss, but not everyone has the ability to do that. Many people choose to continue working as employees because they know their abilities well, in many cases also open their own businesses but then choose to return to work as employees because they cannot maintain business operations.

Maybe there is something wrong with what you guys do on why your business fail? Many of us thinks that running a business is easy but it isn't actually. For our business to be successful we need knowledge and luck more than just a capital. If we don't have a background in business then I think we can also hire people that will help us. We only need to pay them though.

We all want freedom so that we can do whatever we want but I think freedom can be achieved not only by building a business. Look at some of the freelancers. I think some of them do still have bosses and are being paid via a salary but they have more freedom than those who work full-time in the office.

If it was their first business, then it is clear why it has failed - lack of experience or knowledge. It is hard to start something new and already be successful in it. I have seen few people that have started something, it was their first and only business, and this business is alive now.

However, I a supporter of a salary base job. Somehow stability in salary buys me. I am not ready to be a slave for years and fork for someone, to have a freedom later. Because this freedom isnt complete. Once you decide to take a rest and let everything go with the flow, something always go wrong.

I understand that this is a rejection business. But the more you get rejected, it’s either you quit or you learn and get better. Salary job can help sustain your needs, but commissions can give you much more in which will rely more on your skills to close your client, especially that its critical to know what you are promoting in which customers could ask you in-depth questions.

You should really possess those persuasive skills. I do have a friend that is really into commission jobs. He tried at first the office job, but he said it gets boring in the long run. When he gets into commission jobs (selling appliances and cars), he gets a commission once he sells it. He gets very interested in it and is very persuasive to people, whether online or in the physical store, and he earns more! But then COVID hit, and he was really down and lost his job; however, he is now back in a commission job, mostly selling cell phones.

The mentality of most of the people in my country is salary based job. They are being paid $100 a month but they want fixed salary at end of month. Even if you offer them commission of $50 each on one conversion, they will deny it. Because no one wants uncertainty. Personally, for me commission based jobs give a higher ROI on time invested. When we know that we will get a fixed percent on each conversion, we will even give the work more effort.

Commission work does seem free to do because time management can be arranged by yourself, but it is burdened to be able to get marketing targets And must be able to sell products in order to get a profit presentation, if there is no product sold then there is no income at all. Unlike the case with salary-based jobs, the work we do every day is clear and there is a calculation of income every month, although it looks monotonous, but salary-based work is quite safe And obviously to get income every month

Despite the possibility of getting a high pay in commission job, I would stick to salary job anyways.  In the organisation I work, we have both salary base staffs and commission base staffs. I can tell it is not always rosey for the commission base staffs, they have to work hard to bring in customer to earn commission which is not the case for salary base staffs.
However, if you are a good marketer and have the ability to penetrate big customers, surely you will be happy earning your commission with little stress.

It really depends on a case to case basis though; someone in a bad financial situation might want a stabler income especially if he/she sort of lacks the skills and connections.

It’s not that I have some certain skills in expanding my sales, but it maybe it’s more challenging and it keep me more motivated to improve the skills that I have built in myself.

That's another matter because everything will be gone if the world plays tricks on you, but we're talking about monthly income, whether large or small and how stable it is. That is why a salary-based job is stable, even though the increase would take years. Still, it is sure that you can get your salary by the end of the month. On the other side, on a commissioned job, you can earn a lot that will last you for a couple of months, but there are still months that you still need income since you didn't get any commissions that month.

Of course, we can do these 2 types of commissions at the same time, during a pandemic when we have a lot of free time, we can use the time to look for commissions, and the easiest thing we can do is to become part-time marketing so that formal time when working is not disturbed, for starters, of course is a difficult thing but if it has been going on for at least 6 months it will be easy.

Personally, I don't like both of these types of work just because both provide passivity. 
Everyone has the right type of job based on their personality and interests.  I personally love dynamic jobs, salary according to each person's labor productivity, and my current job is selling products and services.  There can be many people doing a combination of things at the same time.  That is their strength, I have also tried many combinations to earn more money during covid19 but the results were not satisfactory.

This can still be done, but I think something like that if done simultaneously, even though it can still be done, it will not be optimal.
We know that these two types of work can be done both principally and sideways, but on the other hand things like this require our focus and targets so that our achievements can be better. But when these 2 jobs are done at the same time, even though it is still possible, this will not be good because our focus is divided so that in the end this can interfere with both jobs.

We can't force it when conditions are like this, instead of making both of them worse, it's better to choose one for us to focus on.
