Why someone should start investing in NFTs is because people just like what has no value to be valuable, there is nothing special about NFTs than normal coins and tokens which are better. I prefer to just invest on coins and tokens that are fungible which their value are based on demand and adoption. People can not quite fungible coins and tokens for NFTs because both can be invested on. No one that knows about crypto that will not want to invest on fungible coins and tokens.

I think people here very few people invest in NFT, here we only prioritize coins, tokens over NFT. But admittedly NFT is trending on twitter these days and recently Facebook also allows users to connect to metamask wallet to show NFT on facebook and I predict twitter will soon do the same as facebook and reddit did.

It is not yet clear if the NFT hype will return when the bull season arrives but it does indeed still have a small niche to grow and not die as many have speculated. Investing in NFTs is still profitable but finding a profitable NFT is as difficult as finding new potential altcoins.

It is precisely this question that makes me curious why anyone would want to invest in NFT, so far I only see it as the same as crypto in general, only NFT is made like an art work but I don't think it is.
This is not to attack those who invest in NFT but its initial purpose for art in the end mostly just ends up as coins traded on exchanges same as coins in general.
So far have never invested in NFT and have no interest in investing in it, at a high enough price on well-known NFT projects investing in Bitcoin makes more sense in my opinion.

I think for artist that is involved in crypto, the answer is very obvious. But for those who are not, then probably it's the hype around NFT for the last couple of years that made them invest on it.

Admit it or not, this is how the market moves, if there is a new hype, then investors flock on it and pour their money to take advantage of the situation, "strike while the iron is hot".

Even though I invest in NFT, but I don't leave crypto investing and stay in my safe position as a crypto trader.

The reason behind me investing in NFT is because I realized that crypto is not just Bitcoin and Altcoins, moreover there is a lot of hype in NFT. "When you don't go with the flow, the flow will destroy you", that's the quote that has always been my mindset.

For the interesting thing in NFT for me is that when the NFT price flips so fast, it's like a new experience that I don't get when investing in crypto. Overall, I don't recommend anyone to invest in NFT, it's like a monkey investment, it doesn't have strong fundamentals and definitely won't last long.

It's the latest craze so what you do expect? History is just repeating itself, from ICO-IEO to know NFT. that is how the market evolves and people are riding on the latest hype and craze, specially that we have some physical form in NFT's, then it become the biggest thing right now.

And as you can see, even big companies are into NFT's, so don't be surprised that it will still be the trend till the next bull run and projects that is base on NFT or Metaverse might be a good project to invest right now.

My opinion, NFT or meme, altcoins, it's all the same, the purpose that I think people still invest in these days is profit and that's also our purpose in this market. People invest in bitcoin because they like safety, they want long term investment and they don't like short term and risky investments like altcoin or NFT.
I am a person who holds most of my assets in bitcoin but I have never missed any trend in the market, as long as it can generate profits then I would consider investing.

I tried going into it when it popped off, never really made me interested in the long term. It's just full of hyped a f stuff, which is yes, in some form can be an investment if done properly but the most that you could probably rely on would be luck and not anything good about the NFT itself imo. NFT's are a big thing though, even some big wig companies are doing it though I don't think there's a proper idea as to how you'd actually invite non-NFT enthusiasts into buying them. The hype around it really is about the money being made, and not about the NFT itself from what I've seen.

Nope, I never investing on NFTs.

Most the time is from free month or my developer/team project give me a free NFTs for me because I was admin/moderator on that project. My all NFTs is came from free, just don't like how the trading while the orderbook is really empty.

You need to wait a buyer for selling the NFTs.

There's no reason for investing in something which doesn't have any real value! NFTs are computer generated images which can be copied a million times and no one cares about its ownership. So I don't personally see a reason to invest in NFT at all. It will be a sheer wastage of money and nothing else! NFT is a marketing buzzword. Whoever invested during the initial phase of NFT, made some money. But now it's almost impossible to make money in NFT market. It's a failed initiative.

So if you are serious about your money, buy gold or bitcoin. Never invest a single dime in any NFT for God's sake!

I was playing a game (sort of like axie infinity) and it was played with NFT, so I bought one and played the game and I disliked it and sold it back again.

It was some racing game, I forgot the name of it but you would be using matic to buy the car basically, then that car would be your NFT, and then you would race with it but the game wasn't good at all, I mean it was good in the sense that how it looked was okay, definitely good enough levels, but the fact that controllers were hard, so when you turned it would be hard to turn exactly how you should, which is a HUGE problem in a racing game of course, so I gave up and each try cost me money so I didn't want to keep practicing to be better by spending 10 bucks a day.

With Axie before, I invest to make money as well and I can say that it’s all worth it.
Though I have no plans to own an NFT art because I see no real usage for that and just a pure hype and beside it’s too expensive to own a good art. I read news about losing a lot of money with the NFTs art, this might be the next trend now after the hype. NFT will become more interesting if many projects able to find it’s purpose.

There is the only reason why we invest in crypto whether it was NFT or not - it is for profit. However, investing in NFT is a different story, people are thinking that riding hype could make them instantly rich. Well, some people got lucky and multiplied their money but some did not (including me) which I think was too risky than investing in Bitcoin alone. If I were you OP, don't focus into NFT but rather spread your fund to different coins to have security, otherwise.

I think the main reason of investing in NFT is just following the trend, honestly NFT itself as an investments isn't that great, it lacks the liquidity, even if the NFT that you invested isn't coming from famous NFT artists you'd wasting your investments because there's slimmer chance of it having its value increased, maybe with NFT that's based from games like axie infinity it's more easier in having its value increased but the other NFTs like arts, you will hardly have your NFT investments increase in value.

Isn't NFT about following the hype and making a profit? How many of us could do this? Showing non-existent values valuable and expecting others to take them. Even if all projects reach their goal, I don't think NFT can rise above one level. This is how the scenario we saw before happened. It doesn't make sense to me to spend money on NFT when I can buy Bitcoin.

I never seeing NFT as an investment instrument and why?

1. NFT was illiquid
2. It's pretty much the same like art
3. Value determined by personal view
4. Mostly of these assets were not having any value on it.
5. Lack of utiltilities
6. many more bad things about NFT

Switching from crypto to the NFT is the worst choice that has ever been taking by crypto investors. Why do they need to switch from liquid asset with more utilities to the useless illiquid assets without any utilties? i guess the only NFT that's worth to hold is hyped NFT like crypto punks but the price of NFT was also going down so hard.

As i explained above. there are lots of reasons to not consider NFT as an investment. It will become a big fault if you are still seeing NFT as an investment. Your money that used to buy NFT might be gone caused by there will be no demand any more for your NFT.
The old owner of NFT might be lucky enough to have you as a buyer for his NFT.  think about that.

When done in a proper timing, you can profit in a hype NFT.

There's a lots of opportunities around and all we need to do is to be serious hunting those.

That's also the reason of most of the people here. Regardless of the technology, as long as hype was there, expect that you will have a chance to gain profit on it.

the NFT hype seems to have started to dim. unlike late last year to early this year, we can see how people are flooding the NFT market to sell and buy NFT assets. they even sell by publishing images that are not worthy of being sold on the NFT marketplace.
Now the celebration is over. all will return to normal trading. NFT will look like a traded fee coin. even his interest is now declining. it would be better to stay in the crypto market by trading and investing coins than to enter the NFT market.

I have never invested in NFTs but it is not difficult to guess why people decided to try their luck with NFTs, when NFTs were incredibly popular it was not difficult to see some people selling their NFTs for hundreds of thousands of dollars, and when people took a look at the effort needed to create NFTs like that suddenly everyone wanted a piece of the action and become successful overnight either by creating NFTs or by speculating with them, but since then the hype is gone and anyone interested in investing in NFTs will most likely lose their money.
