And gambling has been helpful in adoption of bitcoin and other crypto coin today via deposit and withdrawal (Funding) which makes it easier than fiat, many casino and gambling sites are for sure already paved away for massive adoption. Not really, those sports and entertainment industries are promoting exchange or other platform that support to other coin, not only Bitcoin alone. This mean people will just use those exchange or the platform, but we're don't know what's coin they bought, especially most newbies are prefer with pump and dump coins to make instant profit. I think how a country accept Bitcoin as a legal tender or an inside improvement about Bitcoin are actually can boost Bitcoin adoption.

I dont see this as a problem. Both bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are decentralized currencies, they're not going to be adopted by any central government and will have to start by themselves. And the best way to do that is to get attention of the big sports and entertainment industries.

They have the money, they have the audience and they have the resources needed to generate enough buzz around the cryptocurrency world.

Dear you didn't get my point.. let me elaborate it as from sponsorship my mean or context is Awerness about the crypto and commonly crypto is only known by the name of Bitcoin so when these platforms act as the sponsor they attract local audience to the crypto market and this brings adoption from there 80% of audience do invest or do own Bitcoin as when they learn about it. Bitcoin is not a direct sponsor of anything but indirectly these platforms brings audience to Bitcoin.

Yes sport and entertainment industries are always promoting Bitcoin and these has helped in the adoption of Bitcoin by their fans. These two industries are the ones that promoted Bitcoin adoption early and they are still promoting it. Check in the forum you will see so many online casinos that accepts Bitcoin on their platform. The government are the ones that can make it more easy and faster but instead its the other way round.

So many musicians are also promoting the adoption of Bitcoin in one way or the other, I also believe that if you are inviting these musicians for a show and you tell them that you will pay them in BTC bet me they will be glad because they have Bitcoin Holdings. Implicitly, it expects commercial returns, not emphasizing public awareness of financial freedom let alone having a vision of contributing to bitcoin adoption. Maybe I'm not wrong if none of the sports club uniforms have ever had a bitcoin logo without coexisting with any crypto services.

Look deeper into some of these crypto sponsors on sports teams and some of the earlier ones had CEOs/founders who themselves were actually Bitcoin adopters early on, even with contributions on this forum

"Could" is moot point, don't think anyone disagreed in the last ATH period gaming/sports/entertainment had a lot to say in terms of retail interest in Bitcoin.

Easily. There is catch though, bitcoin is still not the best wine from the Government's point of view. Most of the sports are regulated under the government schemes and they are played with rules too. Though privatization is at it's peak in the sport industry (varies country to country), the financial management is always from the governments pot.

Problem is, we are again circulating around the same thing of government's orders regarding bitcoin and it's use case in the private as well as public sector.

Crypto-currency industries like Bitcasino, stake, LuckyBlock has already engaged the services of sport men and even artists for a mutual promotion. I think it has started yielding results because most of this sport men and artists has loyal fan base who would believe what those guys endorses.

Several exchange platforms sponsoring the sports and entertainment industry have increased the attractiveness of the public to buy bitcoins or invest. I believe that this advertisement has indirectly increased bitcoin users regardless of the main purpose of the sponsorship itself, and I don't think it's something that just happened. Bitcoin is growing in popularity indirectly, and the great thing is that it doesn't have to pay any fees to get the interest of the audience.

A lot of crypto companies have been tapping huge sports event for a number of years now to promote their brand and spread bitcoin awareness everywhere but to no avail. There might have been some changes here and there but none of them were substantial enough to be noticed that there were really some changes. FTX, Crypto.com and a lot of other bitcoin/crypto-related names tried meddling with huge sports events and guess what, not much has changed since then.

I have long been having a thought over this. The sports and entertainment industries gets more attention to themselves unlike other industries. I believe also that they have or share fans that are into blockchain as well. If these two industries looks into blockchain I believe there would be a strong massive adoption as a result of their total engagement with their fans if they constantly accept Bitcoin payment for their shows and events. Like some clubs already doing this and the response is welcoming.

If musicians do follow same step, I think there would be massive adoption as most of them are Bitcoin informed and  inclined. Artists could help spread the move on Bitcoin adoption.

One entertainment industry that is already doing this is the gambling industry, which as we know it is very powerful and in a way it is promoting the adoption and the use of bitcoin as a currency, so I think you have a point there, however it is difficult to see how for example artists could do anything else but than promote bitcoin by adopting it or accepting for their concerts, this is very limited compared to what we have seen in the gambling industry, so while such a thing would help, it would still be far away to what we need to push the global adoption of bitcoin forward.

Exchange companies like FTX, crypto.com, Binance and others promote their products and not specifically promote Bitcoin. and the promotion it does includes a lot of crypto in it. To do a massive promotion on Bitcoin and only bitcoin costs quite a lot, but I don't think it needs it.
