Blackjack is one of the most prominent games that can be found in every casino anywhere. It is one of the games where I have been able to make a lot of money.

There are those who believe that Blackjack was invented by the Romans, but the majority agree that it was invented in France at the beginning of the 18th century. It was called "Vingt-et-Un" which is French for "Twenty-one"

                                         

The story goes that Blackjack has its origins in a game that was very popular among the French royal class, the Chemin the Fer. It was later brought by immigrants to the Americas and turned into what we know today.

Another good history lessons again mate, yeah, we for many years have been enjoying this game.

And of course there are a lot of good movies about blackjack and the one that I vividly remember is "21", wherein a professor build a team of bright students to go to Vegas nad have a run in blackjack table through card counting.

For sure there are a lot more movies about this game that we have seen.

Blackjack is my favorite gambling because it relax me when playing it. There is no precise documentation about the actual origin of this game since it was just mention on old novel which means it already exist way longer that then.

I do some research about this game before but I can’t find any material that will lead me to its  real origin to provide a better history for this game. Add some facts here about the game to make this thread more informative.

The variance isn't too far away from blackjack. The main differences is a 2:1 layout for a royal card and an ace and the chance of winning by a five card trick - which beats all but a 2 card 21.

I actually just thought pontoon was the non gambling version of blackjack until I looked it up though because it's normally a game I've played among social groups and without any win incentive except the gloat.

Me too I am not a black jack game lover because I think this game was too fast but this are only good if you are playing for profit and you need to place big amounts per bet. Another thing that supports that is the game is said to have the lowest house edge. No wonder why it's being loved by a lot of players and almost every casino has this game. Dunno if it's possible to read cards because they are being shuffled and it's more harder to read it if you are playing non-live black jack games because you can't see the card deck.

Well that's how most of the card games are played, if you get busted, then you lose, just like in baccarat. Of course, it's hard to read or count the cards when there are like 10-12 or even more in a given session.

Online casino like shuffle every deck of the card so that card number can't do their trick.

almost on average my friends like this game sometimes just see how they play, there are in several other casino sites where we can increase the bet when we will open another card on the HIT button, it can also be a challenge and luck of the cards that will come out, if a calculation of more than 21 we will really lose money, so we have to also count the opponent's cards, maybe it will be more interesting if there is a blackjack game but against other people not the gambling operator

maybe it will be more interesting if in the future there is a casino site to make room for players to play blackjack it will be more exciting so it's not really against gambling operators, I might be happy to play this game because just like playing poker it will be interesting if you play with 4 or more 9 people in 1 table playing blackjack

I find that hard to believe, especially if you mean online. You will probably have had some good winning sessions but the net total of your blackjack bets over your lifetime will most likely be a loss.

Related to this, I miss both in the short article and in your brief summary, how there was a time when it was relatively profitable and in reaction, casinos banned card counting and introduced various decks.

Sort of. Dice games, roulette, and slots rely solely with one's luck while baccarat regards strategy most of the time but luck still has a role with the cards. This is gambling industry and luck will always be a factor, just don't rely on it too much because it can maximize the risks involved. Card games is a bit tricky especially on live casinos wherein even gestures are important to somehow 'bluff' the ither players with your decision. I'm not quite sure if same thing happens in online gambling because ut is on a virtual setting.

What you say is really interesting, it should be noted that I never focus on looking for the history of some games of chance, and when I started playing in casinos, my first game apart from Craps was Poker and the other was Black Jack and roulette, when I got bored of playing dice, I went to poker and from there to Black Jack, I could hardly ever go to roulette, but in general terms Black Jack seems very interesting to me, and although card counting doesn't apply much anymore, it was a very good strategy and should not be considered as cheating, we are free to think and do what we want, however what you say about Black Jack is very significant.

Should've included card counting in it OP since it's one of the terms closely associated with Blackjack (even though it's close to impossible to use it nowadays). Was rather interested in it back then, especially because of card counting but quickly lost interest in it due to knowing it wasn't possible anymore. I did play my fair share though.

It's not really a "mathematical" brain. You just have to have a pretty good mind for memorization, and yes it's possible, but that was in the past. Casinos have implemented simple counters to it such as using multiple decks and automatic shuffling. It was possible back in the day but if you were caught pretty sure casinos can cancel your winnings or even sue you.

It's not really a "mathematical" brain. You just have to have a pretty good mind for memorization, and yes it's possible, but that was in the past. That mind memory and mathematical is was merged when want to calculate it without dealer known. but when the user win continuously in the same table they'd be suspicious to be rigged.

Maybe this happens when a user has much knowledge about random statistic code > [1]. but that looks fast when compared with manual hand dealer.
