Didn't do too badly after all in this round, even if my MD1 scores would have put me above 100 points, but can't complain with Fernandes and Messi, even Mbappe throwing their weight around, finally. Probably just going to stick with more or less the same team, and hope Saka gets a better outing vs Wales.

Clean sheets are a premium, it seems, so leaving Alisson in (though suspect coach might give Ederson an outing now they've qualified).

MD3 started as expected, with both the Netherlands and England keeping clean sheets and finishing first in their respective groups.

I decided to use my last available booster, "Power Captain," i could see potential hauls to be had from players with low % effective ownership. I'd love that to be one of the Danish wingbacks or perhaps the Moroccan right-hand side duo of Ziyech/Hakimi, whom i really fancy against the very open at-the-back Canada.

Triple up on Germany is a must, we just have to nail the correct assets, i currently have Musiala and Sane but Füllkrug, if he gets the nod to start, could be a real differential.

England even managed to rest some of their most important players, but Kane had to play from first minute as usual. That was a kick in the balls for my fantasy team. I have seen the lineup but did not want to pay points for extra transfers. Even if I did I would have taken Foden rather than Rashford so it wouldn't be that big of a difference.

My Netherlands players came trough so it will be ok if Germay performs as expected and I managed to read their line up

Too many bugs in the system, I'm sure my points are affected as well, I know I'm shit at fantasy but if the system was working properly, I should be in the top 20 by now, I used wildcard in only MD2 and I was told that we can use wildcard more than once, I haven't used any other chips but I can't find them available on my dashboard. How can a player play and get a 0? Please, I need justice.

Players don't get points for appearance in this fantasy so it is 0 points instead of 1 point as in FPL. Regarding that wildcard, who told you you can use it more then once? The rules allowed for "free" wildcard in MD 3 if you used in MD2 but you had to make all your transfers during MD2. I wrote about that here as well. Basically you used a wildcard and then removed players after they already played for free.

same here, Frenkie de Jong brought points as captain, and Cody Gakpo is scoring every match (not sure, but I think he is the only one scoring on all three so far)
but, I am not changing anything, too much activities at the moment, and I do not think that winter time (especially end of the year) is really good time for WC (not just weather, it is probably busiest time of the year in any business, and hard to find time for football)

He probably read it wrongly, I didn't settle for MD2 wildcard, I don't think it would have made difference though, I still have all my chips active and used, but I'm still quite clueless as to how to navigate using properly, but my MD3 is still quite a mess, I took about 9 point hit but that paid of a bit except for the fact that I chose to bank Denmark players against Australia, I literally anticipated a clean for them in that game, I went with Gakpo as my captain since he scored I didn't find the need to change it. I think I might just my round of 16 free wildcard to suite just that match day, the use my wildcard for the next matchday.

A Question: has anyone been able to use more than one chip for a single MD ?
I wouldn't like any to go to waste especially the 12th man, I'm thinking of using in the next MD because there are some fixture/players I have in mind for it.

I'm crossing my fingers for a Mitrovic masterclass tomorrow, have him and Tadic left to play for my team both around 3% owned (low ownership is always great).

Mitro is currently top 5 in npxG after the first two matches, but i won't mind a pen to Serbia, lol anything would do.

Slightly annoyed the German assets that i had did not return much, was high on Füllkrug but wasn't sure if he would start.

You can't play two boosters on the same matchday, you are only allowed to use one.

When most of us used the 12th man chip in MD1, you couldn't change the player once it was confirmed (not sure if it was intended or just a bug). So be careful when you pick your guy and hit confirm as you might not be able to change it again.

I wouldn't hold my breath, Serbia is in total disarray from what we are getting in Croatia. It seems that several players slept with reserve keeper wife and now they are not talking to each other. There were even some fights breaking out so not good for sure.

The timings of early games were a bit tough to watch yeah, although it did seem like the better matches were played in the evening and I guess they tried to play Asian teams earlier (can't say as didn't really pay attention) but the KO rounds should, theoretically, give me better viewing rates. Shorter days seems like more household chores though for some reason, or maybe I'm just slower in the cold.

Packing my new squad with more Brazil, more Spain, more Argentina, and Aussie defence maybe haha. See how the budget goes.

Problem is if the game get though they could break apart easy and Swiss are one of the toughest opponents to break. What could be worse than paying 3 points deficit to ship in de Arrascaeta who has been nothing but a bench warmer for Kudus of Ghana, only for the former who has zero point until today to end up 18 whooping points  , What a waste

About the points, I just dont get it how a player would come on even as a substitute player, plays for at least 20-30minutea and not get a point. Yeah, it's the same for everyone but, doesn't make a lot of sense.

This has got to be one frustrating game week for my team. Like, most of my players were tested in there team, others came up with zero and my goalkeeper scored same point as my entire team combined. WTF!

Everybody had one wildcard to be used whenever we saw fit. You will not get another one but we all have free transfers now, before the knockout stages. Use those free transfers well since later on you will have to pay -3 points for each extra transfers. So if you pick a lot of players from teams that get eliminated you will be in trouble. Best to play safe and load up on France & Brazil

I genuinely hope there are fewer surprises in the direct elimination stages, as i intend to quadruple on at least two teams to start. In R16, we get an extra $5 million to spend (105 in total).

I finished MD3 on 67 points, which is a decent result given the circumstances, i wish the Germans hadn't wasted that many good chances, especially Musiala. I'm also not sure why they gave Tadic second assist points (i thought the defender had a touch on the ball before Vlahovic scored???), not that i'm complaining, it's more points for me...lol

The game itself seems to be almost bug-free, i believe they have yet to add points for won penalties, and Livakovic's profile pic is still messed up.
