This is the first time I am hearing the name but I know the game very well. It is one of my favorite games. It's like every country has their name of the card game. In my country, mostly my community, we call it "WHAT". Or "CARD GAME". The are some time we call it family game, because family members use to play it often. The Baccarat name is a strange name but as I checked dictionary, I saw the name with a very brief explanation.
The historical analysis of the game is nice. The game can be played in different form.
