And when you think that you already seen the worst in your life with your recent divorce with your super model wife, Tom Brady and Giselle probably is two of the biggest loser in the FTX collapse.

Not sure how they got themselves involved and invested most of their money, but now it's too late.

In the eyes of ordinary guys like me, investing in any cryptocurrency is surely laden with a lot of risks involving the very platform that you are throwing your trust and confidence with. Now, am really praying that what recently happened with FTX will not be spreading to other big names in the crypto space...including even Binance. We are surely still in the early stage of the industry where players are being wiped out due to incompetence, greed and sometimes overexpansion. Let's hope when the smoke clears out, we would have stronger, more resilient and definitely ethical players whom people can look up to. What we saw with FTX is certainly a disaster and the thing is that only a very few people took notice and warn of this possibility. While Tom Brady and  Giselle Bündchen certainly feeling the lost of big amount of money, I am more concerned with small investors and FTT holders am sure they are the ones experiencing more loss than ever.

Not just in your eyes but that is what it is. Everything related to cryptocurrency investment is a risk at the moment and I believe until it comes to a time when the space has some sort of regulation, we will continue to see this type of thing happening. To me, it is like some years ago in my country when there was an explosion of Banks everywhere and most of them failed too until mergers and acquisitions (consolidation) which eventually led to higher capitalization for stability.
This might be the case for crypto exchanges and the weaker ones will die off normally let's not forget it is a competitive space and manipulations by some to take over can't be ruled out.
However, I agree with you too that the smaller investors and hodlers would be the most hit with this FTX happening and I don't know if what is written at the bottom of that Tom Brady and  Giselle Bündchen picture can still be considered as "using their money well" after what just happened to FTX.

Re: Tom Brady and Giselle Bündchen loses a combine $650 Million from FTX

Please change the title, as it's totally misleading.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-11408011/Tom-Brady-risks-losing-ENTIRE-investment-FTX-exchange-plunged-fortune-crash.html

Quote
While neither Brady or Bundchen are expected to see losses to the magnitude of Bankman-Fried, the company's recent developments could certainly leave a dent.
The ex-couple's net worth is estimated to be $650million, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com.

https://cryptoslate.com/tom-brady-gisele-bundchen-investment-in-ftx/

Quote
The deal gave Brady an ambassador role for FTX and Bündchen the role of Environmental and Social Initiatives Advisor. The equity stake and financial terms were not disclosed.

Their entire wealth is $650 million, nobody knows what stake they have if FTX, it might be $500k or $20 mills.

I hope they were able to remove part if not all their investment before the FTX sunk completely, if not, it will be a great loss. if they have invested that money in btc the story would have been different, even though the market is down but knowing your investment is secure is a big relief.
After luna now FTX, the crypto community has suffered several hardships this year that will not be forgotten so easily.

Not sure, but I'm under the impression that they might not able to get out their money before it collapses. But if they did, then lucky them, that is a huge amount of money to begin with and not everyone can have that kind of money and then invest in on something that is too risky.

Again, this celebrities have tons of money, why not just throw everything in bitcoin and not to this altcoin or crypto exchange that could collapse anytime soon?

Hehehe, the caption though, Brady needs to play till 50 years old?

They are still rich as hell. They can easily make that money in no time. They already have the connections, the fame, the capital. All they have to put in are ideas and some work and they're golden. Also, they're not the ones who lost a lot on that FTX deal turned sour. I'm sure they can take a beating for what its worth.

In all seriousness, before putting money into cryptocurrencies, people need to start doing their homework. Understanding the unwritten norms of the crypto community that aren't codified elsewhere is crucial. It may prove invaluable in helping you control costs and boost revenue. Diversify your holdings and only invest what you can afford to lose, as Tom Brady and Giselle have shown us. It breaks my heart to hear news like this, but I have faith that they will find a way to fix the problem. It's not a trivial amount of money, and I pray for their well-being and the opportunity to recover from this setback.
