Candidates for the WORLD CUP 2022 Winner

The winner of France - England is in my opinion the favorite for the final victory. Argentina may have Messi, but otherwise they showed little against the Netherlands yesterday. Without Messi, they would have been eliminated by now. Or would we see another outsider in Portugal? I do not assume that Morocco can provide a surprise. Speaking of outsider, Croatia should also not be erased. Losing finalist of the World Cup in 2018. Who knows, it will succeed this year. After all, they have the best midfielder of the tournament: Modric.

I won't be surprised if Morocco are champions in this World Cup. It also has the potential. Because before the World Cup, most football experts thought that the most qualified teams to win the championship were Belgium and Brazil. These two teams have a lot of star players. France was in third place. Many players are out of the France squad due to injuries. So they are a bit behind. Morocco on the other hand is playing very well. Today's match also leads with Portugal 1-0. Argentina had a dramatic win over the Netherlands yesterday. And therefore, which team will be the champions, it cannot be said for sure in this World Cup.

Even before the World Cup tournament started I already had three favourite to win the World Cup which we are Brazil France and England but as it stands now Brazil is eliminated and this evening either of France or England would also be eliminated. This means only one of my favorites is capable of getting to the final. it is a clear message that even Morocco has chances of winning the World Cup as it stands now

France won't be easy against Morocco. As we have seen in previous matches, Morocco's defense is very effective against a strong attack. Along with the defenders, Morocco's goalkeeper also performed very well. The France team is strong. But France's performance largely depends on Mbappe's performance. If Mbappe doesn't play well, it will be very difficult for France to win. So if Morocco's players can only resist Mbappe, their chances of victory will increase. However, the France vs Morocco match will not be one-sided. Both teams are likely to win.

I was surprised to see that Mbappe didn't get on the scoreboard for France,
not surprised that they beat England.
If Morocco can hold off France and take the match to penalties anything could
happen as per Croatia v Brazil. I think they will be too much for Morocco though.
With Brazil now despatched I think Frances chances of winning the tournament
have increased IMO.

Comparing the squads of Morocco and France, France is definitely stronger. Mbappe is playing fantastically. Griezmann is back in form. France is very strong now with these two strikers. However, Morocco's defense is much more stable and strong. It is difficult to score against such a defense. As against France, Morocco will try their best to draw the match. I think the match is most likely to be a draw. Because I watched all the matches in the knockout round of Morocco. Their goalkeepers and defenders have performed best in this World Cup. So they have the ability to stop France.

I'm surprised you don't think Croatia or Argentina are favorites for the title. I consider Argentina the favorite to become champions. After losing the first match, their performance in each match was outstanding.

Well with the big names in world Soccer, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Germany and England
for example who are not here now the tournament is still open to any of the 4 teams.

Remember Croatia were in the final in 2018....against France, imagine that was to happen again?

Theoretically Croatia and Morocco are the two weakest teams but I think Croatia have
a bigger chance of beating Argentina than Morocco do against France.

Now there are only 4 remaining candidates, Argentina, France, Croatia, and Morocco. I'm feeling like this is a toss-up. We have good attacking teams Argentina and France against defensive teams Croatia and Morocco. The goalkeepers would favor Croatia and Morocco IMO. And I am tempted again to bet on the underdogs. I won a 5.82 odds when Morroco upset Portugal. I do not want to go against Argentina even though my mind says that Croatia might have a better chance of winning against them than Brazil.

As a fan, I am hoping Argentina will face Morroco in the finals. 

Kind of like a supercomputer calculated the chances of each team winning. France has the best chance of 40%, then Argentina about 35%, Croatia 15% and Morocco 10%.
I think the supercomputer did a good job of calculating all the numbers here, because it's very similar to the truth.
I think the final will be France-Argentina final, where France has 60% more chance of winning.
Morocco might still have a surprise, but I think the miracles ended at the last stage of the playoffs.
The Croats have a better chance, but only if Argentina will make a gross mistake.

You can't compare the game from the World Cup in Russia four years ago with today's game. Not only the game four years ago was in the group stage and this is the semi-final game, but a lot of players changed in those four years. I don't think that it's a hilarious prediction. Besides, I didn't say that Croatia will beat Argentina today (and I especially didn't say that Croatia will win in 90 minutes). I just said that it would be great to see another Croatia vs. France final game of the World Cup. Of course that it could happen vice versa that France loses to Morocco and Croatia loses to Argentina.

I would love to watch France lose. The timing is a bit inconvenient for me. The match will start by sometime around 12:30am here in India and in case it goes to extra time and penalty shootout, then it will end by 3am or so. And I need to start my office work by next day 8am. But still, I want to watch the two semi-finals. It will be a big disappointment though, if Morocco loses out to France. They have come so far, and just have two more obstacles to cross. That said, if the final is between Argentina and Morocco, then I am going to support the former. This is going to be Messi's last world cup and he deserves to be in a world cup winning squad.

It will be similar to me as well and I feel like there is a good chance we could lose just one day worth of sleep and still catch world cup semi finals. I mean think about it this way, this is a once in a 4 year thing and if you really like football then you could sleep 3-4-5 hours or whatever and then go to work and it would certainly be a bad day but you would still be able to get your sleep following night, knowing you watched semi-finals.

I however hope France wins, because they are much better team and they should be easily defeating Morocco, and I hope we end up with Argentina vs France finals, that would be a lot better for me, that's what I want to watch.

At the end those kind of plays depend entirely on how you judge them, to me it was a clear penalty, the goalkeeper in his desire to try to stop the shoot at goal took an additional step to reduce the chance of a score, but by doing so he put himself on the path of the Argentinian player and he could not avoid hitting him, so this gave no option to the soccer referee but to call a penalty, this changed the game completely as until that point Croatia had been playing better, and while some may think it is unfair you cannot make those kind of mistakes against such a solid team as Argentina.

Argentina was surprisingly used the defensive strategy against croatia. Crotia has ball possessions but it would not able making a goal against argentina. The same strategy that being used by croatia. Croatia seems got trapped by dominating the ball possessions and feeling frustated with the defensive strategy that used by argentina. It seems like that this gonna be a very interesting thing to see final. I thought that if counter attack strategy was the most effective stratey caused by when you were giving surprise attack and then your opponent was their focus.

Croatia had finally lost to Argentina which is a proof that Messi knows what he's doing and is capable of winning the golden boot. The match was really an amazing one even though Croatia was able to dominate the game but they were not able to win the match. At the beginning it looks like Croatia may finally win the match because of the ball possession but it reaches a time that they were not able make use of the PPP and score goals but Argentina was ever ready to make more goals to show the world that it is all about skill and techniques.  We hereby await who is going to play with Argentina for the final round.
