Had Argentina to win it all as my selection on the FIFA site when putting in my teams for the bracket.
It isn't going to be easy for Argentina against Croatia today in the semis because they beat them back in 2018.
But I believe Messi will have a stellar match and it will bring out the best in him as this just might be his last time he will be putting on the Argentinian jersey for his home country.

Croatia had finally lost to Argentina which is a proof that Messi knows what he's doing and is capable of winning the golden boot. The match was really an amazing one even though Croatia was able to dominate the game but they were not able to win the match.

Argentina really deserves this. they played excellently during the match and gained 3 goals. Now, Argentina becomes one of the finalists of this Qatar World Cup. They really learned much from their failure in the previous World Cup.
And now, we are waiting for the match between France and Morocco. I am sure that most people will predict France as the winner because of their string and excellent composition of the lineups. They have all great players in all lineups until their replacement. So, this will be so hard for Morocco to win. This will be magic for Morocco to win and it's really blessed. Whoever the winner This is not about luck, but this is about how every team is able to play effectively and solid so which brings their team to make more goals and make a stronger defense. This is about all their efforts and strengths.

this is a very good match in my opinion. can mbappe beat messi on this world cup in terms of being the top scorer? but hey, we should wait for the results of the match between france vs morocco. though most of us of course are rooting for france. but remember, upset always happen in any sports event. so hold your horses... france is highly favourite. so this is interesting.

I'd like to bet on Morocco winning the World Cup just to change this monotony a bit, since the same European or South American teams always win.  Of course it will be a very difficult challenge to defeat France but we have become accustomed to small miracles these days and who knows if it will end like this.

There is no harm to bet on any kind of team because that is your money. Morocco is one team as a black horse where maybe can make the surprise going to final or maybe be Champions, but it's seem like mission imposible when we have to read on the paper where the team like France and Argentina has filled the best player on the world, Messi, Mbappe, Alvarez, etc which I thing only miracle which can make Morocco be world champion.

Ronaldo must be in a very worst condition to see messi was able to winning against croatia. The debate about which better between ronaldo or messi will come to its end once messi will able to win the world cup. Ronaldo has been trying so hard with portugal but he was not lucky enough.
Messi was always contributing a lot to the team. The match between france against morocco will determine who will become opponent for argentina in the final.
My eyes were watching alvarez as the most contributed player in the match against croatia. Im not even feeling doubt if alvarez will be monitored by some big clubs. He's good but he has not got enough play time in city

Morocco in 2022 reminds me of what Croatia achieved back in 2018. But the most surprising thing is that Morocco wasn't even considered as the strongest team from the CAF (that label was given to Senegal and Ghana). And while all the other African teams failed to qualify to the PQF stage, Morocco surprised everyone by becoming the only African/Arab team to do so. Even the other Arab teams (Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia.etc) failed to qualify. Now I don't know what will happen today. If they can beat France, then they will rewrite the history books.

Argentina was really a better team today. We can debate if that was a penalty or not, but even if the penalty wasn't awardes I have a feeling that Argentina would still have won the game. Even though Croatia had the possession of the ball, Argentina managed to score from counter attacks.

Now for the France vs Morocco game, it's really difficult to predict. Of course that France is favorite but you never know with Morocco. I'm definitely not betting.

I'm not sure about the penalty, hard to make that call, because the goalkeeper cannot really teleport or something, I don't know. Not penalty in my mind.

And I think that penalty changed the whole game. Before that I would say Croatia was dominating the game, and after that it all changed to Argentina.

But that's how football is, one play can change the outcome of the whole game.

Argentina won in the end, and is now in the final. Now the attention goes to Morocco vs France. Interesting game to watch.

At the end those kind of plays depend entirely on how you judge them, to me it was a clear penalty, the goalkeeper in his desire to try to stop the shoot at goal took an additional step to reduce the chance of a score, but by doing so he put himself on the path of the Argentinian player and he could not avoid hitting him, so this gave no option to the soccer referee but to call a penalty, this changed the game completely as until that point Croatia had been playing better, and while some may think it is unfair you cannot make those kind of mistakes against such a solid team as Argentina.

To me the penalty was clear until I saw the slow recording of it. Livakovic did stop the player but it was a collision and not an intend to stop the player. He positioned himself in front of the shooter in order to stop the ball and then the player collided with him. For me that's not a penalty and Orsato could have at least go watch the recording but he decided not to. But even if that penalty wasn't awarded to Argentina, I think that they would have won the match. They were more serious in their attacks while Croatia didn't have a striker that could score a goal. I'm not sure but I think that Croatia had only one or two shots at the goal that didn't go wide. And none of the Croatian strikers tried to shoot from the distance. All in all, Argentina deserved to win and Croatia deserved to lose.

Argentina showed improvement in the defence and were able to kill the game even with Croatia 61% possession yet 2 shots on Target whereas, Argentina made 7 (almost 4x) shot on target. Although I am unsure which team will win today's match, I don't see Argentina losing in the final.

is impressive. This will be a massive upset, the biggest of the tournament if France are beaten,
which is possible if it goes to penalties.

Most people don't see Morocco as a difficult opponent in this world cup. Several major countries have experienced defeat when dealing with Morocco and France they will face next. It is not surprising then that Morocco will defend as usual and launch a counter attack as their ultimate weapon. It should be underlined that their striker En Nesyri is exceptional for aerial duels and that should be watched out for by Rapaelm Varane. It is possible that a draw could still occur in this match, considering that both of them are very strong with their respective strategies. But I also hope that whoever will emerge victorious will advance to the final round against Argentina.

I want to see Morocco's defense against France later, is their defense as strong as it was against some of the great teams they beat before, I hope Morocco doesn't disappoint many people because now Morocco is the top team to win in the semifinals because of their game which impressed many people , but besides that I hope France will qualify for the final to meet Argentina as what I expected and predicted, BTW congrats to Argentina for qualifying for the final and I already expected they would beat Croatia without a penalty shootout

I think there is a good chance for Brazil vs England final, but imo England vs Portugal is pretty possible too. It's interesting to me that most bettors think that France is more likely to win the next match. I'm almost 100% sure the winner will be England, as well as in the finals, but who England will be playing with in the World Cup Final, I don't know, I think it can be Portugal.

Hopefully this world cup would be different for the English side because in recent times they have always been unlucky. They always have some of the best players and most qualified coaches but they seem not to have luck on their side. They have a vey good them in Qatar that can win this world cup but I think they need more than quality.

Well, apparently, it wasn't. Once more they were unlucky, but it's a great team, so hopefully they will win next time.

France is also a potential winner of this world cup because they have a very balanced team. Their midfield is one of the best and the attack would be a threat to any team.

But my expectation in this world cup is that a new country's name would be engraved on the trophy. Holland is one of the best teams of the world that have never won the world cup even though they have been at the finals for three times (1974, 1978 and 2010). It would be a great joy for the Dutch to clinch the world cup. Morocco would be my second choice team to win the world cup. Winning the world cup would bring so much joy and pride to not only Morocco but to the entire continent of Africa.  

Now I'm rooting for Argentina. No matter who they are playing with, France or Morocco, probably France, Messi will definitely score one, and will assist with a couple more. 3:1 is my prediction for the World Cup Final, in favour of Argentina, of course.

indeed. The Morocco team has really fought very well. They have tried to give France a strong offense and attack. However, France was able to control it and fend it off with the power of their back line so Morocco failed to score. France is indeed extraordinary, they have a very strong and solid squad, and they even have a strong reserve squad. So there is no doubt that they return to the final. Morocco himself, I'm sure they are disappointed, but on the other hand, they are very proud because they have entered the semi-finals. This is their best achievement so far. According to bookie the odds for Argentina vs France is really close or we can say same, so this is really a big match since a tough team will fight with a tough team too, not like Morocco that everyone already lost their hope lol. I predict France will win and back to back champion.
