You can still gamble while working really. I myself do that, I just control it in a way that doesn't affect my work at all, even with the amount of money I'm spending on gambling. Overindulging in luxuries, especially from money earned in gambling can be quite bad imo since it isn't a "constant" source of profit but rather an "immediate" one.

Well then, you should make a good plan and must have a good understanding of business to make it an auto-pilot, you might involve yourself in an affiliate marketing wherein people will offer or sell your business service in exchange of some commission.  Or you can put up an advertising site which I don't know if it will be good enough to earn you your target earnings.  If you go by traditional business then you will need a lot of capital in order to auto-pilot your business since you need to hire people and pay them monthly.
