Do not forget that KYC is a way to prevent fraud. No person who has passed KYC will cheat. Another thing is that the casino must provide such conditions that it is impossible to purchase other people's accounts with KYC or pass fake KYC. If casino conducts KYC, then everything should be as honest as possible.

If a person wants to commit fraud and knows in advance that he will commit it, then he will find ways to avoid KYC, if he does not find such ways, then he will go to another casino where KYC is not so hard or there is no KYC at all.
Well, personally, I think KYC really does stop users from committing crimes, most especially, on the casino where they've passed KYC verification, but then also, this does not completely stop people from committing crimes if they have set their minds to doing it, this is because for some countries, it is really not so hard to obtain fake documents requests for KYC verification by the casino, and for some casinos, detecting this fake documents is pretty difficult.

This is me simply saying that KYC verification have indeed helped to reduce the amount of crimes committed online, but it has not completely eradicated it since there are some casinos out there that don't even ask their users to verify their account.
One method to identify criminals in gambling is KYC verification. I also think KYC is needed. Several casinos place special emphasis on KYC especially those who are license based casino. Some casinos give relatively less importance. KYC is not mandatory if no unusual activity is observed. Some casinos have the option of gambling and withdrawing money without KYC. But overall, if all casinos made KYC mandatory, the amount of crime could be reduced significantly.
Criminals are very smart now that they complete kyc with fake documents instead of using their own documents.  Therefore, casino sites should not make KYC mandatory, but should monitor the kyc steps more closely.  So that no one can complete KYC with fake documents.  and they should allowing casino play with small amounts without kyc. By using this technique it will be possible to deter real criminals from their illegal activities

Who says KYC can 100 eliminate scammer and identity theft users from exploiting the casino, we have quite a good number of cases where the scammer abused the casino for a very long time before being discovered that the abuser is operating under false kyc documents, this has lead casinos into losing millions of dollars to abusers and sometimes this kind of situation can lead to casino bankruptcy.

KYC is used to decrease scammer can gamble on the casino, there's no any 100% method to eliminate any scammer, yeah the combination of live discussion, video verification, and update the old KYC with the new one for every month will able to eliminate scammers, at the same time it will eliminate any honest and innocent gambler because they are frustrating due to very strict rules on the casino. Maybe you have a way to eliminate 100% scammer without make the innocent gambler leave the casino?

Not only that, scammers offer to buy accounts which have passed KYC already to perform their scams and people thinking they can make some easy money sell their accounts to those scammers, and then they are the ones that have to face the consequence of whatever the scammers did, and while this may seem like one of those things that would never happen it is quite common as I have seen several offers like that in the past in this forum and most likely a few users decided to sell their accounts to them.

KYC on casinos are very common and this policy is to help casinos detect money laundering with support from their on-chain analysis and to reduce cheating on casino faucets, bonuses, promotions, freespins. If you implied they are scammers, yes, KYC is helpful for casinos.

If it is to reduce scammers and their scam activities aim at other gamblers, I don't think so. Casinos have different policies on KYC. KYC can be required after you register your account or it can be required after a casino smells something suspicious and strange with your account. The second case is not helpful to reduce scammers on a casino and can not help other gamblers much.

Not only that, scammers offer to buy accounts which have passed KYC already to perform their scams
Buying accounts and use them for scam, it won't last too long. If a casino requires that user to submit an advanced KYC, the user with a bought account will have to abandon it. If he has money in that bought account, casino will seize it.

@BlackBoss_? Agreed that it might not last long, however, these buying of accounts for scamming, for multiaccounting or moneylaundering appears to be very common. I speculate that much of these complaints from people who had their withdrawals blocked and was asked for KYC again but could not submit the proper identification are from people who are using someone else's identity.

If a gamblers buys an account and use that account for what ever kind of activity that pleases the buyer, could be gambling legitimately or scamming other users of the same casino, such account can linger on for long if the user is one who know how to play by the rules.
Like for example, one way to trigger an advance KYC request on your account is to place a withdrawal request that is above that particular account's limit, or maybe the user starts doing somethings which to the casino, the operator of that account have never for a long time(probably since that account was registered), this also can make the casino get suspicious and request that the user pass kyc verification again, and if like we are discussing, the account in question happens to be a bought account, then it simply means that such user is busted.

Some casinos ask you to update or confirm your account details or provide additional documents. This causes dissatisfaction of users. But if the user plays honestly and the casino has no reason to suspect him, but it is unlikely that the casino will ask for confirmation of personal data, because the casino first of all needs the loyalty of users, and not to create problems for them.

actually related to KYC which is enforced in casinos there are good and many benefits. but sometimes anonymous gamblers don't want to do the KYC.
it's true what you say if a casino asks its customers for KYC, it means the casino suspects suspicious activity such as money laundering or bonus abuse etc. so that the casino has full rights to ask KYC to its customers who feel there is unusual activity.

and basically, if the casino is licensed but not KYC required, it will eventually ask its customers for KYC when there is a problem or a large withdrawal. so for me when I want to bet at a licensed casino, I will do KYC earlier to avoid if there is a problem I won't be asked for KYC again.

actually related to KYC which is enforced in casinos there are good and many benefits. but sometimes anonymous gamblers don't want to do the KYC.
it's true what you say if a casino asks its customers for KYC, it means the casino suspects suspicious activity such as money laundering or bonus abuse etc. so that the casino has full rights to ask KYC to its customers who feel there is unusual activity.

and basically, if the casino is licensed but not KYC required, it will eventually ask its customers for KYC when there is a problem or a large withdrawal. so for me when I want to bet at a licensed casino, I will do KYC earlier to avoid if there is a problem I won't be asked for KYC again.

KYC prevents fraud. If the casino suspects that a person is cheating, it forces him to undergo additional KYC procedures. If a person bought an account with KYC or fraudulently passed KYC, then he will not be able to provide supporting documents, and therefore will not be able to withdraw money. Therefore, in this case, there is no point in cheating.

even KYC does not guarantee that a gambling site is safe from fraud, money laundering and misuse of personal data. Have you ever heard of the case of a schoolboy using his father's personal data so he could play and even make withdrawals at an online gambling site?

I don't really like KYC but the noble purpose of KYC is good enough for me. someone who doesn't like KYC can use other gambling sites but those who don't have a problem with KYC can still do it, because usually gambling sites that require KYC have sufficiently large and safe fund liquidity

if you look at the many cases gamblers will usually be asked to complete KYC if they are caught cheating as happened many novice accounts on this forum who complained that their accounts and money were frozen because they did not complete their KYC, usually cases like that I encountered, after all still there are big casinos that without the need for KYC can withdraw money without any problems. actually casinos that use this KYC system also not only prevent money laundering but also prevent fraud from fraudulent gamblers

yes, so far I haven't done KYC at several casinos and I can withdraw money there with no problems, either because I'm just a small gambler or I really play honestly so I'm not asked to complete KYC, but even though one day I will be asked for KYC I will give it but only if the casino is trusted.

the easy thing is to play at a licensed casino of course all players must obey the rules except decentralized casinos maybe free without KYC and I think every casino always writes on their website, if they are anonymous players they should stay away from licensed casinos.

I have used more or less most of the popular cases on this forum. And almost most casinos allow small gamblers to withdraw small amounts without kyc.  Like I use stake regularly without any KYC and withdraw some btc from there every week.  sportsbet.io also offers kyc free withdrawal and coinplay also offers kyc free withdrawal for small amounts as per my knowledge. So you can definitely use casino sites without kyc if you are a small gambler.  It will not be a big problem

It’s that you will enjoy KYC free experience on casino if you are small player but there’s limit on this when you reach the minimum amount allowed for the total balance you deposit in the casino. This is not a danger for those small players that is not frequently playing but you might be required to do KYC in the future if you are always depositing money with just small amount.

AML policy has a minimum threshold to require KYC and it doesn’t matter if you are playing honestly or small amount.

Yes it is definitely only possible for small gamblers to use casino sites without kyc. Because without kyc very big transaction limit is not given which is why KYC is mandatory for big gamblers and big amount transactions and bets.  And if they don't do KYC any time they may face problem and in that case their money will be at risk. So big gamblers must kyc because if they Don't do that. it will put their money at high risk

Any big win always requires passing KYC in a casino with a license, and if you play in a casino without a license, you will never get your big win. The casino simply won't pay you the money.

I must tell you that my Coinplay experience has been truly EXCELLENT. They have good odds, many markets and they pay super-quick (all payouts processed within 10 mins) and I have had about 8 of them spread over a couple of weeks for decent amounts. And all of this without KYC.

I understood the scepticism at first when their website looked like a copy of 1xbit but I can assure you guys that Coinplay is top notch.

Congrats Coinplay on your excellent job and if you keep this up I'm sure you will grow to one of the most popular casino/sportsbooks around!
