That is the meaning that Accardo told you, that it could take much longer time before this present bear market is over, but no matter what Elon Musk said, bitcoin does not depend on any one speech or tweet, the bear market may be over soon, it may take longer. Do not let anyone discourage you to invest at low price like this.

The explanation is clear what it means, just like ELON, many people have said this on social media and here. That's doesn't have any significant effect on bitcoin. People like him just wish to be relevant or maybe have something to tweet but it does not affect the market. Surely, not only Elon but even any president will not be able to make any impact on the development of bitcoin but in this situation maybe Elon is making his point and he is cheering the market, which is also a good thing.

I also agree with his thinking, winter this year will be harsher and possibly longer than any previous cycle because we are going through unprecedented things economic crisis, inflation, war shows almost no signs of cooling down, so it is hard to say that the bear market will end soon.

I don't know what Elon purpose is, but it is clear that he is definitely preparing to buy cheaply when retail exit the market just like years ago. After that, he will hype it again just like what happen with DOGE. The effect might decrease but crypto is definitely going mainstream. Wether or not this will work again, let's just wait and see.

Nothing new though, in 2018 we have this kind of sentiments as well, very negative the price of bitcoin started to decline March and onwards. And then we have the Covid-19 scare in 2020, hitting all time low that time around $3k.

So if we have seen it before, then I would say that we shouldn't be scared or surprised because it will be a long bear market, January to December of 2023, and then early part of 2024, prior to the halving. So around 16 months of this bearish sentiments. So it's just a question on how newbies are going to cope with that kind of crypto winter as this is their first obviously. For battle tested investor, could be another hump but they know how to get over.

If Elon Musk says about BTC will succeed in the long winter, it's because he himself already knows that BTC has been successful since ten years ago where when there is a decline, there will always be a bigger increase even though it takes a little longer patience.

So this thing is actually quite simple to understand, because he (Elon Musk) just said about BTC will succeed at a certain time which may be through a bigger price increase, but what needs to be understood is, BTC has been successful for a long time.

and the tweet is like warming up in front of a fireplace in the middle of winter. it gives warmth to the BTC market which is being attacked by relentless Fud-Fud.

Elon Musk is just speculating. Nobody can predict when this Winter would end, it might even end tomorrow. Bitcoin has always proved so many skeptics wrong because this coin is unpredictable.

Everyone has freedom of expression, and Elon is using his rights. For me the meaning of that tweet was he recognized the indispensability and eternity of Bitcoin but he also predicted that the recovery from this perilous time of Bitcoin would take a long.

Everyone already know there's halving event every 4 years and Bitcoin will make new ATH after the halving event happen, so there's a big chance Bitcoin would make new ATH in the next halving event. That's what Elon Musk want to say, it's nothing new and actually Elon Musk didn't add any value or predicting anything. We all know the bull market usually starts a few months before a halving day of Bitcoin. Let's see when would be a next halving day of Bitcoin? We don't know the exact day at the moment but we can estimate it based on Bitcoin block time (in average it is 10 minutes). Halving happens after 210,000 blocks and a next halving would happen in May 2024.

Editing tweets would be the highest form of irresponsibility and it would discredit Twitter totally. I don't think editing tweets would be an option for Elon Musk, he is smarter than that. Millions of people might have those tweets saved on some device that he can't edit, Twitter would immediately loose its value if such thing ever occur.

He can hype doge but I don't think he can do it with bitcoin, he is not almighty who can do everything or manipulate everything. Last year he used his fame to manipulate the market and gradually people see his intentions, and they no longer trust his tweets. I believe his goal is also profit and I also believe that he is also quietly buying bitcoin at this price, he sees its potential and the profit it will bring, he's like us, here for profit.
In this tweet, he is creating trust and hope in the market, I only wish that he would tweet such things more often than shilling some coins.

What that means is that you should not be listening to Elon Musk or people who make predictions about BTC, stop reading meanings into what they post on their social media accounts, any information you want to know about BTC you can find it out by yourself. BTC cycle repeats itself and that is what's happening now, though with many centralized exchanges about to go haywire after the mess created by FTX, it may extend the crypto winter season and keep BTC price down for a longer while, but the great thing about it all is that the network remains safe and secured, and absolutely nothing is going to affect its decentralization.

Just move your funds out of centralized exchanges, do not hold centralized altcoins or stable coins and move your BTC to non-custodial wallets like Electrum, BlueWallet or a Hardware wallet.

It may mean we have to remain patient in dealing with the situation in the crypto market that has not improved so far. The crypto market may continue and provide opportunities for us to invest in many potential coins. But you don't need to take it seriously and you should be able to find other information about the real market situation because we know what Elon is like. If you can analyze what is happening with the crypto market, you can already have a good picture of what is really happening and need to be prepared if this continues.
