This is actually quite logical, I didnt really think of it this way but it makes sense and definitely could be considered as a smart decision. Cant say that I am sure of it, there is no guarantee of it and all but that still doesnt mean that we are not going to endup with stocks being less popular, maybe it is/will or maybe not. But if there is a case like that then I am sure that it would make sense like that so that makes sense and would be a good reason for it if we could do something like take attention from stocks. Doesnt mean that we will see that, hopefully those trillions in the stock market goes into bitcoin, that would take the price of bitcoin amazingly high and we can make some serious money from it without a doubt. Right, very few stock investors will turn to bitcoin investing just because they have heard of bitcoin, they may or may not add bitcoin to their portfolio instead.  i also know some people who are investing in stocks, but they are not investing in bitcoin, they are used to the stock environment and also make a profit from it, so they have no reason to switch to bitcoin.  each market will have its own pros and cons, and every investor will have their own preferences, not everyone knows about bitcoin and will love it.

honestly many are just interested in two, usually they have investments in both switching depending on the current market sentiment in these two investments.
but then again as many have said, some people just couldn't that easily switch from their habits same with stock traders, they would hardly switch over just because they see bitcoin unless they've finally find some potential in it.
even like that I'm pretty sure that bitcoin increase in dominance and market capitalisation highly correlates with the fact that money could be coming in from these stock investors or traders.
after all, from what I see cryptocurrencies in general is just more interesting investment, though sometimes you see some good stocks that gains value like back then with tesla.

I do both so I'll say whats most obviously true is not everyone has access to these markets anyway.   You need a far greater capital base for stocks and knowledge generally can go back decades where as crypto is still new and lends itself to a younger generation to learn and also develop.  Nobody is really going to let you into leveraged trading of stocks with order book access with full data so you do it properly or easily, you need a ton of education and company backing is required to really do it properly.
  Geology always seemed the best route for stocks as you will have an advantage in comprehending mining reports and commodities move fast 10% in a day is a good measure but who do you know who trades stocks using their geology knowledge.  People dont do that, they try to gamble on stocks and they'll come to crypto to gamble on the next hot thing here too.   They arent really in competition so much, crypto expanded the reach of finance and invented something new so crypto is new more grass roots access less dominated by old money also I think its higher risk.

There are people that switch from being stockholders to Bitcoin holders, but others also do, but it depends on the investors. But mostly, what I've seen and heard is that they stay more on stock because it is less volatile. I mean they can just predict it, or for them, it is easier to jump out when the price drops. Though it is more comfortable for them as they know Bitcoin is volatile, they prefer something less risky, which is stock.

Like Bitcoin investors who may not like stock investments and vice versa, there will still be stock investors who don't like Bitcoin or crypto so sticking to stocks is their choice, so the presence of Bitcoin will not reduce people's interest in stocks, moreover more people who prefer what has appeared first, and because stocks precede Bitcoin then that doesn't change anything, maybe a relatively young stock investor will divide their investment into Bitcoin but won't leave stocks because it's a form of investment diversification.

We all know that stocks have been there for decades and people believe in stocks more than cryptocurrencies because they are associated with real companies and firms and people understand how that market generally works more than the cryptocurrency market.

I also think it did. People are hungry for profits. When average stocks can hand you %5-10 in return, average altcoin can help you make around %40-50 sometimes even %80 profits. I think yes, because many people want the possibility of high profits even with high risks, it becomes an attraction for people to be able to take big profits, which is different from the stock market.

I also experienced the same thing, after playing stocks for a long time I thought I would not get big profits and that's why I switched to investing in crypto, even though I know that the risk is bigger than investing in stocks but it's quite worth it with the possible profits that will got.

I guess for sure when cryptocurrency become popular the stock traders and money were surely divided between stocks and cryptocurrency so there are obvious effects of that. When I was getting started on investment I originally planned to invest in stocks just in my country thinking that where I should put my money as an investment, cryptocurrency as an option as well but when I learn and gain knowledge on cryptocurrency I get hooked and started trading and buying bitcoin instead of investing on stocks, I learned that cryptocurrency trading is much faster because of the market volatility of cryptocurrency.

My cousin invests in our country's stock market and he told me that he's doing really well I see most of his posts on his social media post that he's doing pretty well and most of his trades are profitable, in my opinion, it is a much safer investment compared to cryptocurrency since these stocks are a local company and you could invest on long term and expect for a good profit, at the same time there are still risk since company could drop its value if its wasn't doing well.

I agree with you in some countries people are shifting to crypto because most of stocks now are moving downward a couple of years now and other stocks do not move that much compare to crypto currencies. A lot of people now are more interested in investing in crypto currencies because of the possible rate of returns compare to stocks. As i can see that a lot of stocks now in the market are stagnant and the profitability rate is very low. Crypto currency is a high volatility asset but if you have invested at a low price at the right time the profitability is very high.
