It has been around 2 years since the first rumout about metamask token was coming out after trend of airdrop token to the users triggered by uniswap. I have been hearing so many people were always talking about this BS since 2 years ago. Don't put your hope so much in this thing.
You may feel disappointed if metamask will never issue the token.  People are still even taking lubin as an indicator to speculate MM token.

From the statistic from Consensys above, they have more than 10 million active user, i know that day crypto getting hype with Memes and NFTs. Let say, the real active user is 5 million, so they wil not making an airdrop more than 50 tokens per account if their token hit USD 10 or more. It's mean maybe the airdrop for all active user will not worth. (this calculations just an imaginations). better to never waiting for this airdrop. if they are doing an airdrop just take it. don't wait for something just a rumor for more than 1 year.

You are right, this is aggregator of many exchangers. This bridge is still in beta phase and far from perfection. I also transferred funds from polygon to Ethereum chain. It took more than 15 minutes to complete the transaction which was more than what I had expected. You should have token worth $30 (minimum limit) to make transaction.

We don't know the criteria of airdrop & when it will happen, but I think we should continue using their bridge and swap to be eligible for airdrop.

However, the big question and mystery is always volume transactions. Do they have volume transaction requirement or not, here a few things about this airdrop.
- Only transaction in "Metamask" for qualified airdrop without need some volume.
- Transaction in "Metamask" with volume requirement, the user will gonna get a token depends the volume of trading he was doing on Metamask. More volume $ you do the activity, there has some potential you can get more token.

It may be true that they make the news. However, they still don't give the explanation in detail, so we need to wait for more time. However, what I am thinking here is about what we need to prepare for the Metamask airdrop. If this really true, There are several ways to prepare to join the metamask airdrops. But, when reading some probabilities to get the rewards by doing some preparations and ways may be too complex. Well, this is too much and seems like promoting their products and features.

The news doesn't guarantee an airdrop it is just the list to do to possibly qualify for an airdrop if Metamask decides to launch one.  After all the article all they have is just assumption and rumors.  So in short, there is no assurance whether Metamask will have an airdrop .  All these things at the moment is just speculation, but I think it is better to have the possible requirement fulfilled.  I am sure if Metamask decided to have an airdrop, it is grander than the uniswap airdrop.

Your analysis seems realistic & convincing that if ever they make airdrop, it won't be fortune changing event for those who receive it. There is another possibility that they will design the criteria in a way that not all active users will be eligible. For example, only those users will be eligible who made transaction on Ethereum network worth $5k & above or who paid transaction fee at least 1 Ethereum. Whatever comes out of the bag, but I think this time they are serious to launch their own token because their competitor Trust wallet has done so successfully, and investors are moving their funds to decentralized exchanges after the collapse of FTX. Any resource that you could put out on this one? If MetaMask were to give out airdrops to everyone who has activated or something, I think it would be already accepted everywhere, but the value of it might not be as high as you want it to be.

This rumor is already aged. For me, if this will happen, for sure the worth of their airdrop is not that really huge, like the total amount of it in $ per person that got the airdrop.
And even though there will be an airdrop, for me, there will be some qualifications, not all metamask users will able to get the airdrop.
Metamask is the #1 wallet for Ethereum and other chains right now, so expect that this airdrop is gonna be huge and that will be a challenge for them.

You are using too old data for your calculations. In March 2022, Consensus reported that MetaMask has over 30 million monthly active users - https://decrypt.co/95039/metamask-consensys-30-million-users And given the increased interest in cryptocurrency among the population, it can be assumed that now the number of active users has increased to 40 million. Airdrop doesn't make people rich. I have not been rewarded several times in various projects, although my wallet has hundreds of transactions and I have more activity than other users who have received rewards. I don't believe in airdrop honesty. These are free testers for the project.
