What happened: This is another exchange platform that someone sent me via Discord to trade on, and after I tried to withdraw the money I got from his promo code for a value of $14,718, it turned out that this platform is a scam exchange asking for a deposit of at least 0.003 BTC so that I can withdraw.

schemes commonly found on fraud platforms. provide an airdrop code with a big win as a form of new member promotion. but they can't make a withdrawal before sending some money.
we have seen such schemes many times. almost like a scam/phishing token that is in most of our wallets today. seeing the large value, people will be interested in doing the swap, even if the fee that must be paid is also quite large to do the swap. and after that, all our assets will be stolen from our wallets.
there are more and more patterns of scammers nowadays to deceive people. we must remain vigilant. especially those who often play bounties and airdrops. their chances of getting link phishing submissions from unknown people are quite large.

Although this technique is old, scammers are still using it to scam inexperienced greedy crypto users. I have exposed many such fake scam exchanges but scammers are still using the idea of this exchange, since they are getting their victims, they are bringing these fake exchanges one after another to scam.

Crypto users need to keep in mind that nothing is free, some stranger is suddenly giving you access to his thousands of dollars account to withdraw those funds. It doesn't make sense. So using comsense is most important to stay safe from such scams.

Scammers are more creative in emails. If one used his email to purchase Ledger hardware wallet then they receive some common emails like
Fill up the Google form to receive __(BTC amount)__ of BTC.
Your __(fill up with an exchange name)__ account received __(BTC amount)__ BTC, login now.
Last day to response or we will lock your __(fill up with an exchange name)__ account.

These emails are so realistic that even old crypto users can become their victim.

True. They even send notification type emails to download updated versions of various wallets, and add malware to the files to hack the crypto user's entire system. Scammers create those emails in a very creative way that many unknowingly click on the link added by the scammer in that email and become victims.

And when the bear market starts, the number of such scammers increases enormously. So at this time, if any crypto user receives any kind of email, he should only click it after verifying it properly to avoid being a victim of scam.

See how I became rich 😂
It took me only less than a minute. Filled up the forms and bitcoin were deposited to my address. I blame all these for the Ledger database hack last year or the year before.

In case you haven't reported them to their registrar [publicdomainregistry], you might want to do it with the addition of the following fake platforms in your report [the first five are using the same registrar (it'd be better if other users also report them)]:
