You can still able to invest if you feel that bitcoin will have a recovery in price --or set an amount of money and start investing bitcoin in a DCA way of purchasing it. We have been given a chance to invest in bitcoin last month but I think this month's bitcoin price shows a sign that it will resist and back to the range of $20K. However, I did not see that this month there is a bull trend, it usually the price goes down but I think it is another opportunity for us to invest in a lower price. Even if they may drop their prices drastically someday and be announced as a failed project, doesn't mean they are made as scam coins. The idea from your content as a question " why Bitcoin is the Only cryptocurrency to buy" reacting to it, it's understandable that Bitcoin is not the cryptocurrency you can buy, if someone is giving you with such information, i think it's wrong, because we have other coin's that's equivalent to Bitcoin during long stays for investment, i believe that cryptocurrency is their general name and Bitcoin is a particular coin and ethereum is another substance of coins, investment of cryptocurrency is of their own choice.

Their are other cryptocurrency that are there to buy, but for the sake of reliability and trust,  good value I believe bitcoin should be the first anyone should consider to buy because it is better. Maybe they don't like altcoins since it is very risky, most of them are just promises that are only good when they want to attract investors to meet their quota, then after that, they will vanish into thin air because they already got what they wanted.

Then don't pick those altcoins but pick only the alts which are useful and profitable. They can be a good addition to our bitcoin investments. That should help us build the ultimate crypto portfolio. Apart from its nature that gives us independence, Bitcoin is the right invention in addressing the complexity of transaction problems.

as of now, it has proven by time that nothing yet can toppled the position of btc in the market. countless projects have tried and attempted to overcome the technology of btc and yet, they found themselves being left behind, in terms of its users. people still go back to btc. they will dip their hands on new projects, but at the end of the day, most are still trusting to hold btc. well, the inventor is anonymous for one, and we are not seeing that he will cause a failure for this top coin by dumping all the btc he has, if he has still much of it. most projects failed owed to greed of their respective devs.
