We should not invest in every coin because not all the coin will necessarily give you profit therefore greed should be avoided at certain stage as greed can compelled you to use any coin for investment.

Is possible to invest in every coin? I think it is impossible. 
Sure, not every coin will give profits. Many of them even give the losses because they have no future. That's why we don't be greedy to invest in too many coins. Investing in too many coins won't increase the chance for gaining profits, it even raises the chance for higher losses. Especially if we invest in random coins, new coins, meme coins, or shit coins.

Newbies are more interested in investment in new coins because they are not familiar with the fact about scam projects.

Newbies think investing in any coin will have the same risk. They are mostly interested to invest in the hype coins, they read may media posted it. Because the hype of new coins is quite massively, it attracts the newbies to join the investment. They don't know if the hype coins will be too risky for them. They don't know that many new coins end up with scams.

If a person should start investment then there is no better option than bitcoin and Ethereum but if someone wants to initiate with lower value coin then doge, Solana, XRP and ADA are good choices so they should not forget about investment in these coins.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are the most recommended coins for investment. I exclude Doge for the beginner, it is very high risk to invest in meme coins. Although it is a part of the top coins, Doge will always have no fundamental as other meme coins.

I agree that Bitcoin is essentially different from the others, but precisely Tether which is a stablecoin that raises many flags is not understood. In my case I only have Bitcoin and I do not see bad to have a small percentage of some alt, as I believe that in the future the Bitcoin will coexist with them, but the question is which ones will survive.

I'm of the same opinion as you, most of our investment in crypto should be in Bitcoin. Then if it interests you as an investor to add some Altcoins to your portfolio, as variety is the spice of life and definitely some altcoins such as ETH will coexist alongside Bitcoin. Then one should go for those altcoins with use cases, and it should be a smaller percentage of your funds, in case the project eventually failed, and ETH is a typical example of an altcoin that worth investing on.

the reason OP is advising people to invest in Bitcoin is because of how safe it is you can not predict what will happen in other crypto markets and it is always very risky because not all alternative coins will survive the entire market, but we all know that no matter how the market turns out to be it will always survive any form of market disorder. an example is what happened with FTX was clear and no one expected it to turn out that way the way it did. and that is why people are always encouraged to invest in Bitcoin your funds are secured if you follow instructions. and anyone who wants to try out new currencies should go ahead and try them but at their own risk. if they succeed while trying then it is good for them.  their phone call. anything they decide to invest in I believe is their money so they can do anything with it.

Well, I agree with bitcoin and altcoins, but will you limit yourself to those options only? Honestly, I invested in coins other than bitcoin and some altcoins. What kind of coins? Shitcoins, memecoins, or new emerging coins—why? Simply to increase or maximise my earnings or profit, yes, it could be risky or not a good way to invest, but I have my own way of taking advantage of those newly emerged coins. Simply put, if I see a coin that has the potential to stay even for quite a while and see the opportunity to hoard coins and sell them before they drop sharply or drop until the coins can't be sustained, it may seem like a bad move, but for me, it works, so maybe it depends on the investors on how they will find their way in the crypto currency market on how to earn efficiently. it also depends on the capital though if its measly 1 grand , would it suit to invest in bitcoin? i think no, but if invested in other altcoin with prices sub 1 dollar it will have massive value when the price increasing. so really we should also judge based on our own capital, i personally would just try to accumulate money first before even investing in bitcoin knowing that if i just invested a little the profit i will gain will be so little, its unlike those big investment fund company that manages billions of fund and when bitcoin increases by 20% they get hundred of millions already its entirely different thing.
but whats important though, always use bitcoin as some kind of guide to whether to make investment or not, if its dumping its the right time to get in, if it pump well investing might be risky but if youre so sure about the coin then you can always invest in it.
