Why Bitcoin is the only crypto you should BUY

I know this is an old thread, but had to jump in to share my two satoshis.  I am by far a supporter of bitcoin over all other types of cryptocurrency, but there are a couple others out there that have legit utility as well as upside potential investment wise.  I think Monero is the second most legit crypto coin.  Truly private transactions is pretty bad ass, though I don't think that's how bitcoin should ever be (number or reasons).  Litecoin is nice for quick and cheap transactions.  I know Ethereum is centralize and a total shitcoin and what not, but I do still see a sizable bit of upside in that coin.

If we talk about privacy and usage purposes, you are right that there are only a few cryptocurrencies apart from Bitcoin that are private, decentralized, and secure. However, if we see from an investment perspective, there can be many more that one can use for short-term investment purposes to earn a small percentage of profit on every trade.

Talking about Ethereum, it might be centralized, but we can't ignore the fact that thousands of projects in the industry are running on top of Ethereum blockchain which makes it one of the most trusted cryptocurrencies in the industry which makes it a good option for investment. In my opinion, BTC is the lung of all Altcoins. as long as BTC is still alive, there will be many new ideas and ideas in the world of cryptography.

No wonder you hate Altcoins because this year there was an incident that disappointed all cryptocurrency users.
Precisely, in my opinion, the problems that occur are positive things that must be learned for every CEX and DEX to improve security in storing user funds in the future.

However, I don't believe that all altcoins are poor; some have a specific purpose while others have characteristics that Bitcoin doesn't cover, such as anonymity (Monero) or Ripple, which was meant to be a payment system using a unique consensus mechanism, the XRP Ledger Consensus Protocol, for consensus and validation.

Bitcoin is one of the few crypto platforms that will provide you with a safe investment. And if you invest here you can rest assured that if you hold it for a long time you will get a very good profit. That assurance no other crypto coin can give you. So it is definitely wise to choose Bitcoin as a strong investment. Altcoins have been seen to crash very well and with high volume but this has not been the case with Bitcoin so far. so Bitcoin must be trusted and invested here

"Should" is a strong word and I would say it may take a while. I get that some people may have some doubts but that is not really the case, I do not suggest anyone to have these kinds of musts and have to's, because that would only hurt you. Be more dynamic when it comes to asset management, and yes Bitcoin is by far the best investment anyone can ever make, but that doesn't mean that you should never even look at other things, just look at them and if you think that they are not good enough then you would not do it at all.

I personally believe that the best thing to do at the moment would be just realizing you are not going to end up with a strict mind, sometimes you will test stuff, and just let yourself have the chance to test things sometimes.

Dear, there are many reasons behind buying or investing only in bitcoin is that it is only the strongest digital currency out there. If we talk about the current scenario Bull run is on the way and is halving is too near where bitcoin can make some price correction which will give buying opportunity to the investors it is saying that bitcoin will reach 170000$ in this bull run because there is many positive news in current time which bullish to investors to buy aggresively. DYOR it has less risk as compared to other altcoins.

It's normal for everyone to say, as you say, that buying and investing in Bitcoin is the best choice because Bitcoin is well known and very popular with all investors as an investment that always provides the best for its holders. The problem with only investing in bitcoin is that it's pricey for some people so there's others out there that would be willing to risk it all for some unknown token hoping that they've invested on the next bitcoin or Ethereum and that's why the scammers and people that do nothing but scheme to steal other people's money use that fact that people are risking their money for the chances of getting the next bitcoin. I do agree in a sense that bitcoin is the only thing that you should buy but if you've been in the crypto space for a really long time and you don't mind burning some money, maybe it's worth trying to buy some but still do your due diligence of researching about the company.

Well, altcoins are very vulnerable to price movements just like BNB last time when the CZ stepped down we saw BNB drop for more than 10% but after that the FUD slowly faded and BNB regained its strength again. unlike Bitcoin which needs like a big movement to make a FUD so Bitcoin price goes down like a country banning Bitcoin, an exchange getting hacked and shutdown, whales selling their Bitcoin, etc.

The OP said like that maybe because he got scammed with many altcoins so he was frustrated with investing in another altcoin, what we should learn here is that we should be ready for anything that can happen in crypto since no one guarantees our money also not investing in one instrument is one of the way to prevent all our capital lost in one investment.

There are a lot of really bad, potentially & often subsequently proven to be, shitcoins. I am literally over 95% Bitcoin (not including my home & other real estate). I have a relatively small Ethereum allocation & even smaller stash of shitcoins, just for shits & gigs. I do mostly agree that Bitcoin is the only coin worth having & I’d go furtyer than that. Bitcoin is preferable to mostly all stocks & traditional finance products.

You have many points that align with mine, but I have to say that you confused me with a few of your points, perhaps, they are merely mistakes. One of them is the Ethereum remark of being a centralised cryptocurrency. This can only be a mistake, or maybe you should clarify that to avoid people, particularly the newbies mistaking it for something else.

Regardless, you are saying what is right, Bitcoin has a whole lot of good functions and reasons for anyone to want to invest in it. But at the same time, we look beyond this, this is even as the investment purpose is the main goal here unless people fake it. If I ask you, why do you think that people are investing their money in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, is it not for the money? That is why money is the number one priority here, then decentralization, safety and others will be secondary. Many people who were talking alone about Bitcoin before on the forum are now talking about altcoins as well as ways to invest their money. While many will continue to fake it in the open but are actually investing heavily in altcoins.

Owning to this, one should know that our agenda and purpose for dealing with cryptocurrency is the money, and when there are many alternatives to Bitcoin that can earn investors multiple of what Bitcoin would earn in just the same period of time, won't they wisely and smartly opt for them? There is no reason to buy cripto.Ever since it first came into the market in 2009, cryptocurrency has created a huge stir among a class of people. By the end of 2022 the exchange value of one bitcoin rose above 60k. Currently the price has come down but it is standing around 46k.

But when Bitcoin hit the market in 2009. Its price was almost zero. That is if we consider the current price of Bitcoin the price of this digital currency has increased almost 40 thousand times in the last 14 years.

For longterm yes, but there is no harm in edging into alts to be able to buy more btc. Most people who invest on alts are just short and mid term investment in order for them to get the funds to invest on btc for long term.

The way I see it, all bullshit token and coin abandons are done for this one reason; they only have one purpose which I will explain better...
We saw Luna and FTT are made for a reason which is to support those companies themselves, the day these companies drop their token or their currency will drop too.

That's why for me bitcoin is perfection because this previous one is multipurpose and its foundation is to avoid intermediaries there are no companies managing it, we will not be able to match satoshi due to the price drop(thats a clever move for him to stay behind the scenes).

In a pool of thousands of coins you expect to have some bad players especially that this industry remains unregulated which means any Jim and Jack is free to have their own token and try their luck if it will be relevant in some way.

And the fact that these tokens we have today serve different purposes, I think it's unfair to compare them to Bitcoin which has naturally been accepted for its  multipurpose use...but then again if you think about it these coins can be used for more than their utility use , and can be used as a digital currency and other uses.

Because we know that satoshi does not depend on a company to reinforce bitcoin.
And with this I finish all the currencies are a scam(meaning that the price can disappear) for me, personally  the legit ones they are btc and tether.

The named tether has a sketchy history if you dig it up, and for Bitcoin in some circles some people will tell you it's speculative and built more like a pyramid scheme...but at the end of the day we support coins that we believe in air whatever reasons and no one should hate you for it as we are entitled to our opinions.

I have seen this from my short time and experience and statistics from the past years - many digital currencies have come and gone.
