Upsets happen in most sporting events and even in the esports, they do happen. I've experienced it before when I bet for the favorite team and didn't consider the odds for the underdog team.

And for FIFA, fans and bettors it is no brainer to bet on Argentina if the opponent is Saudi Arabia. But well, what happen has happened and that's gambling on our end that things can be sometimes upsetting if the unexpected thing occurs.

Well that's what i mean to prefer betting against the odds always better ... the hurt feeling when you know that you are losing the bet on a 1.1xx even worst below that odds , it hurts ... really hurts i knew it especially if you do it in full confidence and allin! The trauma will be there for sure.

But when you do the opposite ... betting on the underdogs in hope to get 3x or even 8x return ... you do it in nothing to lose style and when you won it , the feeling way much better than anything, satisfying.

It really hurts and it's all about the feeling that you're confident and at the same time the odds that you've trusted that much.

As you do the opposite, it's not also that guaranteed at all because those odds are most of the times correct if it's on the winning side. As I've said, upsets do happen and when they do, it's hell of an upset.

The thing is; nobody talks about their loses so for that reason, you shouldn't feel other gamblers don't lose too, as much as you do.
It's part of the rules of the game; when you get a big win, always expect a big loss too, it's that simple. I'd advise that you look out for the things/decisions you made wrongly, -- that made you loss, just so you won't do the repeat the same, next time. I am deeply sorry for your loss, because I can really understand how it feels like staking high and losing such game, most especially after been given a decent cashout and you left everything hoping to win, only to lose everything during extra time, as that's what pains the most. I think what you are doing is right. Staying away from betting while you are not yet in the right head space is the right thing to do. It will just make matters worse if you bet even when you are still contemplating your loss. It can make you make bad decisions like chasing the loss that you have. Very common behavior as a gambler on which you do really make yourself that impulsive which might really that able to move on or would really make the betting behavior even got worst.

But the question is when are you going to forget about your big loss? Because for most of the gamblers, the more they lose money, the more they gamble to chase all their losses. So it will take another huge money to lose again before this gambler realizes that gambling is not really good for him. And also, going all in always ends up in losing than winning the bet, so probably gamble with only a small amount so you won’t be hurt when you lose them all.

This is something that will definitely happen when we are sure, because I think your friend had no doubts at first, even though betting big enough in Argentina with odds of 1.16, it is clear that the risk is greater than the advantage, and indeed it is possible that it is because of these odds that your friend is betting boldly enough .

argentina has a lot of good players, that's why people have high expectations about argentina, you see lautaro martinez, and so many good players who play in big teams, argentina even without messi they won a lot of games, this defeat was the lack of concentration on defence, but I believe the argentina coach needs to change, how the hell does he expect them to score many goals playing with only 2 forwards? it seems to me that the argentina coach is aimless, i hope that in this next game against meximo he will put 3 strikers if he really wants to win this game, at least he will put dybala + lautaro martinez + messi, there would be 3 strikers, argentia could not score goals against saudi arabia, it was visible and the damn argentina coach didn't put the dybala or make changes in the attack, honestly it looked like he wanted to lose on purpose
