The world is only getting crazier. Hyperinflation, wars, supply chain issues, shortages …. One has happened, the other maybe will again happen or someone else can happen and Bitcoin is still here. That is because of the people and their belief that Bitcoin is stronger than many other things. If people don't want Bitcoin anymore, then it doesn't matter if there is an apocalyse. The important thing is all of us here and i hope in the future much more.

The word apocalypse implies the end of all life. Why does the OP care about this question? Your own life will be your problem, I'm sure you won't have time to think about what's going on with bitcoin.
People generally like to fantasise, and how a new world could be born, and they generally like to think that the things that they enjoy or love will be a part of that new world. It's nothing more than that. It's harmless, but ultimately Bitcoin probably wouldn't survive. At least, not until the state of the world started returning back to normal, that's if it ever did. We know this. Money becomes absolutely useless, and we don't need an apocalypse to see this, you can compare it to war. During wars, for many of the people experiencing the war, money doesn't matter, and has been burned to keep warm to stay alive, and has been tossed to save weight for more important things. The only difference with wars is there's life after them, when there's no life after them no one is going to care. Oxygen, water, food, warmth, and shelter is the only thing that would matter. Obviously, those closest to you too, but money would be a thing of the past.

Well one thing is for sure, technology is growing ever so infinitely, which means that maybe one day someone will try to come up with a way to destroy all electricity in the world. Do not imagine like some wacky scientist guy doing it, just realize the fact that we already have the means to end human life right now in the world.
Well simple, we have over a dozen nuclear weapons together, probably over a dozen just in USA if I remember correctly, if we blow all of them up, ALL nuclear weapons in a single day, that would cause the human life to end. If that’s so possible right now already, then I do not see how destroying electricity would be any harder.

Do not imagine like some wacky scientist guy doing it, just realize the fact that we already have the means to end human life right now in the world. If we take apocalypse as the end of the world and not used a representation of chaos or doom, then it is obvious since it is the end of the world then Bitcoin and everything will cease to exist. Bitcoin doesn't operate alone without POW, and POW is produced by machines set up by people that need electricity to work and the internet to serve as a network of communication to process the Bitcoin network. So basically the answer is simple, it will not Well simple, we have over a dozen nuclear weapons together, probably over a dozen just in USA if I remember correctly, if we blow all of them up, ALL nuclear weapons in a single day, that would cause the human life to end. If that’s so possible right now already, then I do not see how destroying electricity would be any harder.
Aside from nuclear weapons, the natural occurrences can destroy the earth. If the sun becomes a supernova, automatically earth together with the other planets will be destroyed. We know this. Money becomes absolutely useless, and we don't need an apocalypse to see this, you can compare it to war. During wars, for many of the people experiencing the war, money doesn't matter, and has been burned to keep warm to stay alive, and has been tossed to save weight for more important things. I highly agree, money is worthless when the world is in chaos, it is the basic needs that is most precious at this time because of the shortages of food resources and people's needs to survice. People might probably witness cannibalism when the time comes that even food is too scarce that people are forced to eat one another.

Apocalypse, meaning no survivors. The Luna disaster, FTX, the russian war, other economic disasters are not the apocalypse for bitcoin. This will never render bitcoins worthless, but the current impact you should take for granted. I may not fully understand what you mean, but my guess is it seems to have something to do with the recent disaster.

True apocalypse means no survivors so the question is already answered by the question itself. With regard to Luna, FTX collapse, Bitcoin had experience way more than these and yet it survives and even recovers and break its onw ATH. We just need to be patience and watch how the Bitcoin market recovers and turns the red market in a greenish Pasteur.

When talking about the apocalypse I do not avoid being afraid, because I have read the bible and I know that there are many things that are happening that are apocalyptic, if we have bitcoin it would be to be able to buy food, water and what is necessary to stay alive.
This is a subject that can generate a lot of sensitivity, and some people are quite manipulative with it, and according to what I have read in my religion is that money will not do any good, because there will be bags of money lying around and people will not care, what essential in an apocalypse is that there is drinking water, because it is the basis of life, and the people who have water in their homes as springs are the ones who have suffered many landslides and landslides, that means that there is nothing safe, and bitcoin ? Well, as long as the apocalypse does not come, it is better to enjoy its benefits.

Yes, Bitcoin can survive an apocalypse. Because bitcoin is actually the most robust network on the planet, as well as the most likely to stay alive in some sort of apocalyptic situation.

That is actually quite true. The reason for the robustness is the decentralization and internationality that we can not see with other networks ecxept for the internet. IF there is a large war or nature catastrophe in one part of the world then there will still be miners and nodes somewhere else. This is different for centralized payment systems like Master Cards, that will for sure be taken out if the American continent will be of the grid for some time.

This is a very good question but if people didn't not survive the apocalypse, would it even matter if Bitcoin did? I guess some other extra terrestrial life form could discover this in the ruins.

If the internet is cut off, miners are no longer around to set up mining rigs, no electricity and the population is reduced to zero. Do you think Bitcoin will survive? Or let us change the question, Do you think Bitcoin will continue to operate? Obviously it will not because there are no more living that will maintain the network let alone the internet.

How bad would it have to get to stop the chain & would that kill Bitcoin?
A thing of such kind can't eliminate the existence of bitcoin, assuming Bitcoin should be eliminated it's things that have no value that will make Bitcoin to act of such nature, because i believe that Bitcoin have its technology and the technology of Bitcoin is very strong which i believe that the elimination of Bitcoin will not as easy as we think.

I think so too. because if the apocalypse of course people will not care about gold, money, including bitcoin. because of course people will panic, they will definitely forget about bitcoin, so you can say that bitcoin will be destroyed if the apocalypse occurs because. humans and this world will also certainly be destroyed. but we should just think about the current time that is being lived and develop a strategy for the future so that we are even more advanced in terms of the economy, especially in the field of crypto and bitcoin.

I know a decent percentage of the network runs on renewable energy, there's the blockstream satellite, keys are offline etc

Personally I'm not worried, because if it gets that bad, money probably won't matter. Food, water & shelter will be more valuable.
I often speculate. I not a gloom & doomer - just a realist.
Interest to hear thoughts.
in an era like this one has to filter a lot of things, especially about slanted news in the media. the news in the media likes to be exaggerated, bitcoin will collapse, bitcoin is on the verge of collapse. Don't believe things like that too quickly, because many people want to get rid of bitcoin/crypto, so we have to be able to better filter the news that is spread in the media.

All the chaos that has plagued the economy so far should have never destroyed bitcoin. Bitcoin is still the best, most desirable crypto asset and store of value for some. A global economic collapse will inevitably impact prices as most people with low levels of finances will be more concerned with survival than investing.
Inflation, recession and the big cases that hit crypto right now have only had an impact on the price of bitcoin. It's not the end of the world to me, but things like this are just normal dynamics for bitcoin.

When things get to that level, a lot of previous and exchange values will reduce to nothing even the currency, gold and other exchange materials of high value will all disappear without any value.
So not only Bitcoin will be affected, but let's say only global government regulation can force such to happen.

I do not think so. BTC will be fine even though market conditions are still being corrected. Some people think of Bitcoin as money or digital currency. For me, it's been a store of value and a conduit for paying online or offline. We are all here eager to see the future of Bitcoin and I believe Bitcoin will continue to fly high, like a bird.

Filtering things is a must because not all things are good enough and there are no benefits of having them. When it comes to news, it is normal that there will be negative news other than the positive news and there is no way to avoid them but as long as you know btc and the truth behind it then there is no need for you to worry or feel bad about those negative news. Just ignore those. You know some of them only do that because they are also interested on acquiring btc at a cheaper price so they are spreading a fud for the weak hands to panic and sell but isn't it great for us when it happens? Because we can also stack more btc in our bags.

Apocalypse is cataclysmic. If we do ever get to that point, nobody will be in the right frame of mind to think what happens to the next person or their investments. It's going to be chaotic. Bitcoin or whatever won't even matter then because all man will think of will be strictly survival. It's like the end of the world. Let's just enjoy the Bitcoin moment now and forget about how it's going to be like in man's troubled times.
