I think they also added this setting in Trezor Suite app, so you can enable o disable it, but it looks much better separated.

I would not waste money on Trezor One, even if it's only $19.
This is first ever hardware wallet in the world, and we can't expect Trezor developers to provide updates forever.
And Trezor Safe 3 on Black Friday was cheaper than Trezor T on Amazon, and it's better device in my opinion because of secure element.

I use an Altoids tin as a discreet metal case, and I wrap the Trezor in a glasses-cleaner cloth. The usb-c cable fits in there too.

I did something similar to you, I had a Ledger which was my first hardware wallet, and in June this year I bought the Safe 3, but without a promotion, I paid the full price of $79 + $5.93 in fees = $84.93

Trezor is my main wallet now, and I left the Ledger with a little BTC that will be held for a long period of time

Who's using this in public?

For instance those who might want to cash out quickly at crypto ATM, but for this purpose I would not use wallet like Trezor. Instead, I would choose wallet in card format ^{such as my Tangem} scan the relevant QR code displayed by ATM, tap the Tangem card on the back of my smartphone, wait for confirmation, and collect the desired bills.

But agreed, this protector is the last wheel on the coach.
