Watch out for user SCORUM.COMMUNITY

it's really worth the SCORUM.COMMUNITY account to be banned from this forum, I even got PM 2 times from that account. I'm really curious how many thousands of accounts in this forum got their PM, it seems they don't choose their victims.

Wow so many PMs sent by SCORUM.COMMUNITY to people and this is very annoying but I also ignore it and never click on the link given in the message looks very suspicious what was sent in the PM.

It's like we were told to try their testnet to find out more about the game, but many people have realized that this has been a warning to all of us.

I always ignore PM's that have nothing to do with me.

On a side note, do newbies have limitations to sending PM? Perhaps the site could restrict it to like, 3 daily.

PM restrictions depend on your activity count if I am not mistaken, not your rank. But the copper membership lifts many of the limits that would be set on accounts with low activity counts.

There already are certain restrictions to PMs. If you have 0-14 activity points, you can only send one PM per hour. That's how it was in the past at least. But these two posts by Maestro75 and UserU got me thinking. Could you get around this limit by sending a mass PM to multiple users, and would that still count as just 1 PM sent? 
I am looking at New PM limits written by theymos, and it mentions "Max recipients". Does that mean that those with 0-14 activity points not owning a copper membership can send a PM to multiple recipients but to a maximum of 2 people?

It's like I'm the only unfortunate one who didn't get the celebratory pm 😭. Anyway, the SCORUM.COMMUNITY account has been auto banned now. I guess we all can go back, relax and sleep with our two eyes closed. It's good to report and expose cases like this so as to prevent naive ones from being preys to such unscrupulous elements instead of keeping quiet and dealing with it secretly. I'm sure the barrage of reports on that account was what prompted the mods to promptly ban it.

i got a message from them too and i already clicked on the link they gave , it does not show any results , the link is not working and i searched on google about aviatrix and i can enter their website , am i in danger ?

The link points to an FTP folder, which may contain malicious files. I personally do not recommend opening this folder.

Am not trying to sound wiser than you on this but I need to point it out. You have been here a long time to know that links from newbie accounts are treated with suspicion of malware.

The question I raise is: did you download any files? Did you open any files? If you didn't, you can be minimally calm.
But there's another question: are you using pirated or legal software? Do you have updates up to date? If everything is fine and updates are up to date, then you can also be minimally calm.

Either way, it's hard to say if it's really safe or not. You can try running some antivirus/malware programs to try to detect something.
But I believe, if you have things like I mentioned, it shouldn't be a problem.

Now, you should always be very careful about the links you click on. Remember, your PC's security starts with your online behavior.

Thank you for that link, I checked it and you are right. I never visited that part of the forum. It means those buying the copper membership are not first time newbies. They must have been here that long enough to know there is something like that offer. With that we can conclude that user SCORUM.COMMUNITY has a bad intention of sending those pms.

I got curious when I received the PM so I tried opening the site. Nothing was there also but a blank page. I didn't mind about it but replied to him saying I'm not the guy he thinks I am to cooperate and spread his NFT game.  Nothing to download from his site. I wonder what game was it though.

A new user spamming PM to active users, I sure SCORUM user is new and has not known how suspicious the forum users are.

I received two duplicate messages from this user on the 24th of November with subject "Cooperation" and ignored it as I thought this was an error message which was mearnt for a bounty manager or something but seeing this thread and several others receiving the same message, I don't think this is random... User might have used signature spreadsheets to target his recipients to receive the message which I have ignored till this day, but is there a way to block such users from sending you unwanted messages?

The only possibility to block these messages, is in your profile settings, indicate that you do not want to receive PM from newbie users.

I use Hanphone to open the link, I am safe, and in the future I have to be more careful, I think they are honest people and want to rent me to the promotion that encourages me to click the link they give

You are gambling a lot and unnecessarily. You shouldn't open and download things from people you don't know or trust. Important and sensitive information shouldn't be stored on a device you use for everyday activities. Using the same PC/phone for everything you do is an accident waiting to happen.

Imagine the site you loaded on your end was infected with malware and someone somewhere got access to everything stored on your phone. What is worse? Having all your files, data, private information, work-related stuff, wallet info, etc. stolen, or only losing access to a few online accounts that can be recoverable in different ways and from other devices?
