"ETH at $10K – They Said"

Don't pay attention to everything people are telling you about ETH without you verify to know more about the altcoins before investing your money. ETH price has dump to 2k, if you are still following the market price, I don't think the price of ETH will reach $10k this year because many altcoins price has started dumping to enter bear run.

If you want to buy ETH, you can go ahead and buy but if you want to wait for the price to dump more before you can buy, I guess you will still lucky to buy in the low price because the green candle light is no longer stable as usual in this week.

I agree, 10k isn't what it could reach, even if we have a bull run, 10k seems like a wall that would be very hard to break. Even if we reach over 9k that would still be hard to break over 20k, remember a few years ago in 2017 when bitcoin reached over 19k and yet failed to break over 20k? Similar thing could happen here where ETH will fail to break over 10k this year even with a bull run.

Obviously it could also alternatively break over it, but that would not be an easy situation and could be a bit of a profitable business to keep your ETH, and on top of that we are getting some money from it by staking it as well, so holding and waiting until it reaches either a bit above 10k or a bit under, basically around it. That is a good investment.

Another thing to ask is on whether ethereum could actually get to more than $4k this season or not, because we are yet to experience an all time high of recent despite some coins in crypto have summoned courage to do so, this keeps the investors on ethereum to have more raised expectation regarding the coin and some already lost hope on it for this bullrun season, but as we know, anything is possible in crypto market, it may be that this time, the dimension its taking could be more different from the previous, but as we have always advised, that holding is the key to maximize profit in crypto.

Yes, predictions can be made about a coin, but whether that coin will reach that price in the future may or may not happen. Yes, but when the altcoin session starts, the altcoins will definitely be pumping ,That's for sure. But many predicted about Bitcoin that it will reach 100k very soon but it happened. So now I predict about Ethereum and many have done that it will reach 10k in the future and it will happen but it is not sure when.

We cant compare Alts with Bitcoin because there is no comparison between them. Bitcoin is ruling the crypto market since it's inception while alts have the history of coming up and then disappearing in the darkness. Eth has somewhat maintained its stature in crypto market and is second to Bitcoin for many years. We haven't seen much increase in price of Eth with enormous rise in price of Bitcoin which is creating doubts that whether Eth will ever rise due to Bitcoin or we have to wait for it's own season to come.

Guys, the market is brutal right now. As I wasn't involved in crypto in 2018, I've read it's similar to the alt downtrend back at that time. Wishing everyone the strength to survive this time (which wiped out even the experienced ones).

By the way, what kind of activities do you do now? Time with friends and family? Reading some insights? Preparing for summer or buying coins with huuuge discounts 

The market is tough right now, and comparing it to 2018 makes sense in some ways. But each cycle has its own factors, like macro trends and Ethereum’s staking dynamics today, which weren’t as relevant back then.

This is a good time to reassess strategies and focus on long-term fundamentals. Personally, I use this time to analyze patterns and keep an eye on industry shifts.

At the end of the day numbers are just that... numbers. If you really want to wait and see if it can be 10k, then just give it time and I am 100% sure it will be 10k, not only that, I am sure it will be 100k one day. That is how the market grows, and if you think crypto market will continue to grow then it will continue to grow. If you do not believe that, then you just don't believe that.

This is how things evolve and with that in mind, crypto has grown a ton and we could end up with a bunch of great increases in prices. You may not see ETH price at 10k right now, but that doesn't mean you won't see it ever, if you expected it by now, then you could be upset, but if you wait long enough, it will get there one day.

This is clearly the disappointment of the ETH Holder community as they see the development a little slow in addition to the previous expensive gas fees (although now the gasfee is cheap) but still the performance of the ETH increase is still slow.

I don't feel confident that this season will belong to ETH in the sense that they can go to ATH again very skeptical about this.
There is so much to talk about in the community including criticism of Vitalik and other developers.

ETH in terms of price is more likely to decline and difficult to recover when the market is green.

Development slow compared to what? Pectra upgrade should be coming shortly and there has been ton of development going on and plenty of layer 2 projects.

Also, let's have a thought experiment where ETH would have fixed supply, how do you think that would affect on cost efficiency of it? How that would affect to gas fees when it would just raise on value?
I am honestly surprised how little it cost me to use it, when i tried just while ago, compared to good old days where i needed >$100 of eth to use some smart contract while hoping i paid enough for it not to fail.

Many people talk in many ways but at the moment people do not believe anyone. Whatever anyone says, Ethereum does not seem to be able to reach $10,000. Because even though Bitcoin went to $109,000, Ethereum could not cross $5,000. Many people had predicted in many ways that if Bitcoin reached $100,000, Ethereum would go to $10,000, but that was not possible at all, instead more Ethereum was dumped. Currently, even though Bitcoin has crossed $85,000 to $88,000, Ethereum is below $2,000 and is even fluctuating up to a maximum of $2,000. So people are no longer able to predict Ethereum and even if they do, people do not believe it.

However, I still have a positive look at Bitcoin and top altcoins. I believe that the market can turn at any time. Because the bullish period is not over yet. The market is constantly losing value and losing and altcoins are losing more value. Although Bitcoin is losing value, I still think it is not losing much value, but if Bitcoin dumps its price a little, altcoins are dumping a lot. Today we can see that Bitcoin is improving at $87,000 and when it is dumping at $82,000, altcoins are dumping a lot, especially if we talk about Ethereum, it can be seen that Ethereum is at $1,700, which is a lot of dumping compared to Bitcoin. However, I have no idea what position Ethereum will take in the future and I also do not know whether the market is likely to be bullish in the future. However, from what I know and understand, I would say that you should not invest in altcoins except Bitcoin.

According to the coinGecko today price ups and down  upto $1600 - $1645 that was 5% up to the previous day . But the way people wish to increase that is not gain. Big coins reach their new ATH every year but in this case I saw that Ethereum could not do that which is a reflection of their failure . I think Ethereum needs to come up with some fundamental big changes if they want to keep attracting Ether fans. In that case they need to work on how to increase the price of Ether with a long term plan.

G'day mate, right now it's all about eyeballing the bloody chart 24/7. I'm not buying the dip 'cause I've run out of dosh for even a snag and chips! Cheers for the concern though!
