I am sure that most are familiar with many old big altcoins in the space, what's worrying is that majority of them never see their old ATH again, it's possible that many new altcoins that did so well in 2021 might not see their ATH anymore, for example Nano and XRP

What if I tell you that BTC is the answer? The only project that always surpass it's old ATH every bull market, we have few others too like Ethereum and BNB but BTC is just the first on my list.

I think most people are making the mistake of bagging more altcoins instead of bitcoin, since they saw some altcoins All time high price in the last bull run and they see the current price in the bear market, they believe it's better for them to bag altcoins because when the bull run is going to start, those coins price will bounce back to their All time high price, which some might even pass that, but must of them are wrong, instead of focusing on altcoins which your investment are not really safe, why don't you just invest on bitcoin that you are sure that if bull run start, the price will hit and pass the formal all time high and you will have rest of mind because you investment is safe.

I agree on you on bitcoin its proven and no doubt, but there are new altcoins almost everyday on the market some are backed by huge VCs they are new on the market but the market cap is overwhelming since they are backed by big investors. Most old alts like this one reached new ATH last bulllrun surpassing old ATH from 2017 bull market so Im expecting again on the next run, not a financial advise of course but I think the next bull run will be much bigger compared to last, well lets see which alts will dominate again.

Another example is the fork of bitcoin, bitcoin cash and from this fork, another fork has been made, the Bitcoin SV. As we can see, most of these forks are about to be dead and the same goes for too many altcoins that have been present during the bull run and reached all time high.
Investors are going to consolidate their trust with a few of them that shall remain but mostly into bitcoin. BTC is the top choice and it will never get old, even there have been talks about how outdated it is but the seal that it has can't be removed easily.

Everyone investing in altcoins know that they are gambling with their investment. They are their for high ROI which is very possible. There are some altcoins fans too and some bitcoin fans are also into alcoins and vice versa. Buying bitcoin doesn't mean you shouldn't try other good altcoins.

Most investors have come to understand that the newer projects will always give better return of investment compare to old champions on top 10, as time goes on they will lose their juice and investors will start losing interest.

Solana has witnessed be the biggest blow and only God knows if this project will retain its position in coming bull market, this could actually be the end for this altcoin but who knows.

No one doubts bitcoin because everyone is aware that bitcoin is the king of all coins and the only investment capable of providing greater returns especially for long term holders.

Actually during bear market everyone must not buy shitcoins if they're trying to hold it until Bitcoin make new ATH, it's true shitcoins might make more money since the market cap is low and it's easy to pump the price, but there's a chance if the shitcoins will become dead coins since no one is interested with the coins or the developer turn become a scammer. Just buy shitcoins to trade in short term period to avoid possible huge losses in the future.

Based on the history we already know that altcoins will never reach their ATH (peak price when they were super pumped) ever again. There is no exception to this rule either which means shitcoins like ETH, BNB, LTC, etc. that you mentioned will also never reach their ATH prices ever again.
Just look at the history, a shitcoin like ETH was once worth about 0.15BTC and today after 6 years it is half that value and has not been capable of regaining that ATH despite all the pumps that the centralized authorities have attempted so far.

Bitcoin is the future. Like someone had stated earlier, the only reason these alt's have been pumping is due to BTC's fluctuation, I believe it'll reach extravagant new highs but as far as the other alts and lower cap coins I would not think that's the case.

According to data from coinmarketcap.com there are currently 22,251 coins added in the crypto currency market and every year a large number of new cons add to the market. Among these altcoins, not all altcoins can survive in the market. There are many altcoins that do not exist and some that are suffering from existence crisis. Especially due to the long bearishness of the market, many alt coins are dying forever without being able to survive in the market. Some altcoins that were well positioned in the bull market in 2021 but now down almost 99 percent or more with almost no trading volume. So what investors should do is to invest in coins that have a strong basement by looking at the coinmarketcap. Even if the market is bearish, they will revive. Considering all this Bitcoin is the best investment ‍assets and after that Ether, BNB and Metic would be better as the altcons investment assets.

Is this right? You are using ETH - BTC while we know that ETH reached a new ATH in 2021 of 4,600$, it feels more right to use ETH/USD not ETH/BTC.

Even without been told, one should know that cryptocurrency business is a very risky one and being inside such field is already a green light to accepting all the challenges it also comes with
Bitcoin which we all know and aso see as the king of crypto also goes through alot and nothing is gauranteed.
So I always assumes that for anyone going into altcoins should already be aware of the high risk involved.
I personally don't involve myself with shit coins or altcoins and I prefer to stick with Bitcoin and Ethereum.
