Elon is only focused on finding ways to increase his wealth and if he wants to create stablecoins, there must be something behind the plan and it must be because he wants to be richer than anyone else. But with his current wealth, Elon could create a stablecoin and share it for free with those who support him to entice more people to stand up for him. You can not just create Billions and Billions of Dollars out of nowhere because that would generate such a huge inflation that all the money would be worthless. Regarding business, Elon and Mark is same! Also I don't understand why there is a need of a new stablecoin only for Twitter? Why can't Elon use one of the stablecoins already running in the market. Creating absolute monopoly is a great business practice but not very beneficial for the users.

I don't see Elon Musk creating a coin for Twitter; neither does Mark Zuckerberg. However, both will continue to support bitcoin, cryptocurrency ideas, and other coins like they did in the last cycle. OP is speaking and making emotion based choices. Making choices with emotions is not good. It is less risky for Elon Musk to create a token for Twitter than to create a stable coin for Twitter.

In order to launch a stable coin, he must have a collateral for that stable coin and I don't believe Elon Musk have enough money for it. Furthermore, stable coin is risky to handle well and avoid de-peg problems.

Another reason is there is USDT from Tether, BUSD from Binance that can be used by Elon Musk and Twitter. They can simply add those stable coins as payment methods on Twitter, for buying Verified badges or Tips to other Twitter users and any feature can be launched in future. It is good enough to use available good ones rather than create your own.

BUSD is a good candidate because Elon has good connection with Changpeng Zao and even got a financial support from Binance for his deal to buy Twitter.

Elon musk has the money to create stablcoin but it will be difficult for him to spend amount of money on stablcoin, because him will not really make a good income from it like the way he is making income from other assets in the environment.
