Yes, that is some step forward for the El Salvador bitcoin adoption policy of the current administration, the Chivo wallet technical problem has led to huge lipholes that have impacted the Bitcoin trial relationship with the citizens where the connection node was disconnected and lots of problems were faced.

-But with the constant push by the government to make the Bitcoin project a success, it has become important to set up official offices that will oversee the administrative running of the bitcoin project since most of it requires physical structures.

An interesting initiative, for the first time I am hearing a dedicated department which is created for bitcoin and related functions. This team will specialise in bitcoin altogether and all it's daily functions with revolve around it. What would be interesting to see which type of experts will be part of this committee as we know there is no single regulated certification on bitcoin and it's economy.

I looked through the news on this topic and the most recent connected with ONBTC I found is about El Salvador bitcoin bonds issue (as I see this bond campaign is not over yet). So it looks like this department is aimed mainly on collecting investment in El Salvador economy with the help of different bitcoin programs and projects. Of course some other departments could do the same job, but a special department with a target bitcoin specialists will better cope with this work IMO.
