When political ambitions tend to cause war in the society.

We have found out today that so many wars in our societies today are caused by individuals with political ambitions,and such individuals are always ready to go any length in ensuring they are in power,therefore,they do not care who's life is lost in their quest for political power.The poor masses seems to be at the suffering end when two people of this calibre with the ambition of getting into power,antagonise each other politically. If I may ask,why do people always want to  create chaox in the society during politics?

Greed and uncontrollable hunger for power is the reason why some politicians would do anything to grab political power. They don't care how many people loose their lives or the level of destruction their actions or inaction might bring because they are power drunk. Apart from Donald Trump and few other most politicians in Western Europe and the US are matured enough to accept defeat and relinquish power. Some of them even resign if they perceive that they have lost the confidence of the people.

But my continent has the highest number of greedy politicians that are always desperate to grab or retain power by all means. You would hardly hear that an African politician resigned from political office. The hold tight to power as if it is their personal property. But the greatest politician in my locality is Nelson Mandela, who even when he was persuaded to remain in power, decided to serve for just one term. The war in Ethiopia, Sudan and Eritrea has the same undertone; political ambition of greedy politicians.

But sometimes I blame the masses for supporting these politicians in their quest to destroy the country. Politicians always use tribal and religious sentiments to brainwash the people and instigate against their own fellow countrymen. These politicians pretend as if they a fighting for the rights of the people while they are merely fighting for their personal ambition or bank accounts.

                                                                                                     most of the war and bad life of our youths is cause by this self centered politicians . Most politician buy weapons to the youths that have low sense thinking to cause chaos during the election just for them to win. Politicians in Nigeria will purposely impoverished the masses so that the masses will follow them during the election because if poverty and money.

the answer is of course greed. Humans will not be enough just to eat and drink. Humans always want treasure, throne. if there is wealth, definitely want a high position. and only some people can control their lust.

excessive passion can destroy everything. therefore, we must not be too greedy and must live this life with gratitude. control your greed and always guard yourself from bad traits.

I don't blame the politicians,instead I will blame the ignoramus youths who loves violence and chaos because of laziness with an ambitious to shed blood, at the end they give power to these greedy politicians who are after  the country's funds. This politicians are not the one doing the dirties themselves,neither their children but they pay the youths to carry out these havocs. They also use some corrupt policemen to backup the youths.

Let's look at it this way,if the politicians go to the youths to help them out in their political atrocities,and they refuse will the politicians force them ? No, because it is impossible for you to go against your wish. The politicians will be disappointed and will have no choice than to accept his fate in the election. The problem lies with the youths let them not also be corrupt and greedy like the politicians. The painful thing of it all is that after elections,politicians abandon these youths back to the streets or sometimes jail them,if the youths are not scared of them.

We have to understand that political ambition is not a do or die affairs, it's a determination to adhere to the call to serve the nation and the people in general, it is not a thug of war whereby we by all means find the attachment to the career forcefully because time will tell, then the people in the society must have interest in their representing candidate which must have been someone they entrust well with good reputation.

When an individual has been eaten up by the quest for power, especially absolute power, such ambition corrupts the mind to no consciousness or feeling of humanity whether they die or not.
And what keep me wondering is this, should everyone die cause of your ambition for power, who then will you be ruling? Am not sure they ask themselves such question!

This should not entirely look new to you, op. Let me digress a lil; when we were kids, who taught us that if we had $2 in hand and we were offered $50, we should immediately forsake the 2? I think as humans we have this inherent need to always satisfy ourselves and we can go out of the norms and moral ways just to achieve it.

 In the case of politics, it's quite a norm for humans to make enemies as they go about their various ambitions of climbing the ladder so I'm not surprised that it could eventually lead to a war.

Those need of us as humans is not suppose to over come the public good. We don't need to have our primary aim above the public that will result to killing people to climbing into political office. It is wrong we to keep doing that. Human blood is precious but I know it that man is selfish in nature.

The laws to guiding human relations with another is important to follow so that it can punish the people that commit in it so that others won't keep committing such ambition crime.

I believe that it is some people's nature not to be comfortable when things are peaceful, they thrive in chaos, so they always try to create and ensure that chaos is a normal thing. If these people get into politics, they use their widespread influence to trigger chaotic situations on a larger scale. It is just unfortunate that these people are empowered further by their political positions and have sufficient money to finance their propaganda's and influence people with it.

I will always advise that one should withdraw whenever a political ambition in turning into something else beyond the ordinary, once the abnormality is noticed woth those in political powers then one should not refrain for a quit because if they eventually got you persuaded to join their clique there may not be an easy way to quit out of to than to remain with them in their crooked ways, i understand having a political power may tend to be demanding atimes but it should not be what that can lead to having a bad personal reputation in leading the people the wrong way instead of serving them right, dont forcefully join their cult just in other to get your own ambition fulfilled.

True, war is a situation in which young people who don't kndon'tch other fight and die because of the older adults who know each other and want to show their powers. Therefore, war should be fought only for noble motives without seeking earthly reward.

 Well, I don't think anyone would put effort in something that would yield no profit; hence the need by individuals to do absurd things. The two most important things in life are money and power, and politics is a ground to achieve both.
 If one is bothered about why wars emanate as a result of political ambitions, it's simple! When greed is the propelling force, every other emotion takes the backseat.

In this post, I just want to highlight about the war. and there is a definition of war by experts. The existing definition continues to  change in line with the times that bring new forms of conflict between countries. I remember one of the figures who is famous for his writings about war, Clausewitz is a figure from the 18th century so that his works such as "On War", refer to what happened in his time.  Clausewitz views that war always has an objective.

According to Clausewitz, war is an act of violence intended to force the opponent to do what we want. violence that occurs in war, is not the main goal for the state. Countries do not go to war just for the sake of destroying opponents, but have other goals. so, war is nothing but a tool used to paralyze the enemy. Putting the opponent in a position of pressure is the ultimate goal of war because under these conditions, the state can enforce the importance it wants.

well, so in essence the occurrence of all the conflicts that exist on this earth is an interest of a group or country.

Power, which is what politics is, is taken, not given. The majority of politicians are unaware of what it takes to assume power. The majority of people in this region of the world, most of whom are from Africa, view elections as battles to further their political objectives. They create problems and misunderstanding among voters, which can occasionally result in anarchy and bloodshed in the neighborhood.
The majority of those who have nothing to offer the populace and have allowed their desires to generate crises in society. It is a known fact that during elections in Africa, people picnic and some stay on the road until afterward due to the ambition of some corrupt politicians who view politics as a matter of life and death. As a result, they use their Evi plan to incite conflict in our society.

Since the age of time, there's already the politics and power that's being fighted on. Expanding terrorities and at the same on the each own bases, there's the politics and hunger to control their own army and overtake the power of the high authorities.

And to answer that question, the very answer is easy and you've already said it. It's about their ambition, ambition to reign their race, their citizens and obtain power from the ranking that they'll have on that political position. Although there are still a very few of them that wanted to be in the position for the sake of political will and good heart.

The politician already milked his own people by getting the political job. But that wasn't enough. Now he wants to get more from other countries. So he talks his own people into preparing for war, and then going to war... just to steal from other countries... so he gets more.

Politics was designed to foster relationship and draw Government closer to the people. But when bad leaders emerged they causes war and division among people in the society.  But true leaders will not allow their ambitions to cause crises in the society rather they will ensure that the people benefit more from them.

In today's world politicians don't care if they have to kill everyone to get into power.  They allow their personal interest to cause crises In the society. At the end they benefit nothing.

In our society, especially in African nations, the desire for wealth and power by individuals is unbelievable. They must now involve a tribal or religious war in the election's cause since it is a life-or-death situation for a particular tribe to run above every other tribe in the country. It is quite depressing that the so-called political aspirant now tends to forget the reason they went for office in the first place (to rule), only to incite a civil war in the community through the youth when they lost to their opponent.
