Many are optimistic that the crypto project that will be successful after the NFT is Metaverse, unfortunately the market is currently red and makes many metaverse projects that look very slow or even fail, we are waiting when the market rising whether metaverse can prove to be a driver of market conditions to skyrocket again.

The hype for the metaverse projects died really quickly, and it is easy to see what happened, when we have a company like Facebook trying to their best to create their own metaverse and their results are so poor, then it is very difficult for the developers of other metaverse projects to make claims that they are going to succeed where Facebook has failed despite investing billions of dollars on this, and when we take into account everything that has happened during this year then I guess that not only the hype for those projects has subsided but it is never coming back either.

Well, the hyped really died for Metaverse but that doesn't mean people stop developing their own Metaverse projects, Facebook spent a lot of money on Metaverse and it failed, because Facebook failed the hyped is gone and many projects didn't continue. but some company still trying to develop their Metaverse to get some efficiency, for example conducting a meeting through Metaverse.

Do not get me wrong, the metaverse someday will become a reality and just like it is the case of social media people will become addicted to it, it is just that it is way harder and more costly than what people may imagine and only companies like Facebook can afford the costs, so this idea that an anonymous developer can create a metaverse with just a few million dollars of investment should be discarded from our minds as this is never going to happen.

Still metaverse is something that will take more development to happen in real and like social media will be a big market. Since the Metaverse has gained support from big-time companies out there, they still need to prove that they really have working products for the people to trust them and invest in them because if they only create something similar to what we already have right now and will gonna delay any development and updates about their project, then it would be nice to stay away from it and just focus on Bitcoins and any other project that are really working hard to make differences and innovate their project to boost their sales and protect their investors through liquidity and multiple sales.

I do agree that metaverse and NFT world is not fully gone, and it may end up with something proper. Like imagine building a second world where you would own stuff via NFT, houses, cars, items, and then you use them the way you want.

Imagine even if the graphics is as good as GTA, but then you would have a huge map where everything is ownable, maybe at first you do not have to be able to get in everywhere, but you would have to at least have some "same" house, where everyone who goes into their homes, go into the same home design, all the same, just owned by different people, and have benefits. People could literally live there and that's amazing for sure.

Scammers are copycats by nature so they will never be the originators of any craze, but as soon as they see there is demand for a specific type of coin then they will join the craze and create hundreds of similar clones, just look at what happened not long ago with meme coins, as soon as scammers realized people were buying meme coins they immediately released all kind of coins similar to dogecoin and shiba inu and made a fortune in the process.

I do agree that all these "bad" news are still impacting the price and that is why there is something going on with extra added FUD, but those will be gone. Right after FTX, some rumours started going around about Binance as well, which was curious considering it turned out wrong and Binance gave everyone who asked for a withdrawal, without a hiccup, not even more than 5 minutes.

This proves that nothing is wrong with them, but people were told to be scared about it, and whoever started that rumour just wanted Binance and in return crypto to be hurt. Now that we know everything is fine, the ripples of those bad waves will be over eventually and price will start to go back up.

WEB3, and its different variations. This sector of the industry is still poorly disclosed and appeared, in fact, only at the end of the last bull run. I think in the next 5-7 years this direction will grow very much and all major projects will interact with web3, and there will be attempts to integrate different layers, from 0 to 3, into the ecosystem of popular projects.

I think the next big thing in crypto will be second-layer scaling solutions. Especially on popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Things may've settled a bit because of the bear market, but you can bet interest into Layer-Two scaling solutions will increase once people get back into the crypto/Blockchain bandwagon (probably by the next Bitcoin block reward halving). You can see how recently VISA became interested in Starkware's L2 scaling solution for automated payments. To enable mass payments worldwide, crypto needs to scale off-chain. L2 scaling solutions are the answer to this problem.

I believe tokens of underlying L2 networks will increase in price within the not-so-distant future. I'm talking about Arbitrum, Optimism, and a few other networks with their native tokens. Imagine DEXs, NFTs, and even ICOs using the power of L2. Crypto will reach the mainstream like never before. Who knows what the future holds for the industry? Just my thoughts

Next crytpo craze is likely to  happen when main financial institutions and business will adopt crypto currencies and even retailers will start accepting crypto currencies as method of payment. This kind of adoption will huge create demand for DEFI projects which can potentially attract huge investment from Mutual and pension funds sector and Uniswap(UNI) is likely  to outsmart all centralized and decentralized exchanges.
