Recently I came across a job listing that required over 9 years working experience to be qualified, looking at the job description, I didn't see any reason why someone with 5 years working experience was not suitable for it

The restriction is there due to millennials having poor reputations as workers with some business owners.

Quote
Want to get work done? Don't hire a millennial, business owner says

https://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/work-don-hire-millennial-biz-owner-article-1.2596941

Some claim millennials lack critical thought and other necessary qualities to effectively fill some roles in the workplace.

There is also an opposite trend for employers who hire only millennials. They never employ boomers and older generations who they view as being too conservative and right leaning. Irony being what it is, the biggest viewer demographic of CNN and television news is the older boomer generation. While the age bracket might historically be right wing, in the modern era it may be further left.

Definitely, working experience is very necessary in securing a job but the years of experience is entirely up to the hiring company to determine. Actually as you have already pointed out, some job don't necessarily need the long years of experience required by the company to effectively carried out, even with 4 years of working in a similar field is enough for anyone to work effectively given the opportunity.
Since there are not many jobs around, some organizations capitalize on it to gain bigger years of experience with minimal pay.

Experience matters, period.

The more experience you have, the higher your skillset is and the more you're paid. If you're looking for cheap labor, hiring a fresh graduate from an institution of higher learning will get you what you need, but it won't get you an experienced employee. If you're looking for a job, don't expect to be paid the same as someone with experience no matter what your educational background is.

The way institutions of higher learning are ran, you'd think they would teach a bit of critical thinking skills with how much they charge students. Apparently not, you only get those sort of soft skills in the real world in a professional capacity.

I came across a post some time ago (not here on bitcointalk), I was not in the forum then too, so I did not take note of the link for discussion, but it was about how many jobs can be taught, so the writer was trying to understand why people get disqualified for little or no working experience in a Job Interview? Recently I came across a job listing that required over 9 years working experience to be qualified, looking at the job description, I didn't see any reason why someone with 5 years working experience was not suitable for it since it was not a job that required special skills and the monthly pay for the job was not encouraging. What is your opinion on eligibility for regular jobs that are based on working experience, do you think they are necessary, and what chances does it give to the young job seekers who are looking to gain experience on a job? how can they get experienced if they are already been disqualified for little or no working experience?
What job would you like to talk about?
Is it a bank manager or a very sophisticated machine operator in a factory?
If you are a good specialist with 5 years of experience, then you should not have problems, but I do not understand what kind of vacancy we are talking about. You work for a company, many people find better paying jobs and they poach good professionals from their old jobs.
True, we do not understand what job you are talking about and what position you are referring to.

Competence in work experience is very important for companies not to take up time in training or work adaptation. I think the job you are talking about is an important part of the company that requires sufficient experience in the job if your friend has the experience that does not match the job offered by the company, no matter how long he has experience in the workplace without any consideration the company will reject the friend's application You.

Work experience is very important for companies because indeed people who already have experience will know how to work in a company, therefore many companies prefer people who have work experience.
I think the case that you find is for key positions in companies like executives, managers, specialized teams and others that require a fair amount of work experience in the job.

What about young workers with little experience?
I think there are not a few job vacancies that require workers who have no experience, you can have experience there even though the position offered is under the company.

If you don't have the opportunity to jump right into a key position in the company, start from the bottom.
There are still important points, this is the time of adaptation in the company, so even an experienced employee will need time to get to know the team and work more efficiently.
For example, in trading there is the concept of a cycle of one sale. I don't know how competently it sounds in English, but for example, if a company sells complex machines for production or builds factories, then the cycle of one sale can take from 6 months to several years. And even a professional with 10 years of experience needs to go this way.
And if you need a insurance seller, then 5 or 10 years of experience will not play a lot of role, but as an employer I will hire a younger worker.

a company will hire experienced employees, it's only natural because the boss of the company wants the company to be successful by choosing employees who have long experience in certain fields.
but if someone has the expertise and has work experience in a certain field for 5 years it is long enough and deserves to be accepted in the company. but if someone has 5 years of work experience but is still rejected from the job and only needs 9 years of experience, is that a really big and successful company?
To be honest, I'm a little confused by what you mean by a company that only accepts employees with 9 years of experience

experience is very important. maybe if a company wants people who have a lot of experience because, work must be done by people who are very reliable so that mistakes don't happen. but depending on the level, if the level is a bit low I think they will definitely recruit people even if they lack experience.

depending on the work to be done, sometimes people do need experienced people. but there are also people who don't pay much attention to that.

Work experience is something that should not be taken lightly. Practice is what builds your resume.  It can start off with an internship then to a first paying job. It builds a career or careers to some.

There are advantages that pave the road to building employment skills. Knowing what a work environment is about. One will see what you like and what you do not like. Understanding the ins and outs of a business.

There are so many jobs available the experience you build can set you aside to attain future jobs. Learning and building the knowledge of the future of your life.

from experience we learn and that is something important. a person will not be able to change, if he has no experience. that is, when we fail at something, it becomes experience, and failing is the best experience in my opinion because, we can learn from mistakes and try to improve.

Currently, finding a job is rather difficult. but if we take for example, not accepted by a company. then at least, we can still try and not give up.

When it comes to recruiting new employees, years of work experience are a crucial criterion. But in my opinion, it really has made it harder for a lot of young people looking for jobs who have recently graduated from university to land the job of their dreams. I believe that there should be more graduate trainee roles available where candidates can be recruited and trained in the specialized abilities required for the job.

...how can they get experienced if they are already been disqualified for little or no working experience?

Large companies often hire over-qualified people for dull, boring jobs, what do they actually gain by doing that? If you can, learn about smart contracts, and escape the corporate rat race!
