LOCKED

No bids in yet, going to lock this thread and sell these when the market changes.  If you are still interested, send an offer my way

AUCTION TERMS

Item for Sale: https://cryptomatic.io/collections/the-cryptomat-collection-bitcoin-watches

These stunning watches were sold in 2014 for a very brief time.  There is only a few hundred sets ever made.  This auction is for a complete set of watches, with matching serial #31.

This is the original watch collection from Cryptomatic, very hard to find these days, especially a complete set.

These are all brand new, the black watch was resized (links included) for review & pictures (see images below).  All watches are in amazing condition.  The box glue the company used has failed over the years.  The boxes are in rough shape, but they have protected the watches perfectly.

Bid Format: BTC

Starting Bid: 0.25 BTC

Minimum Bid Increment: 0.01 BTC

Buy It Now:  0.5 BTC

Auction End Time: Friday, 16 December 2022 22:00:00.000 GMT

Auction End Time Epoch: 1671228000

Sniping: No sniping. 10 minute standard sniping rule.

Shipping: Ships from USA. Free Shipping to USA.  Buyer pays shipping outside of USA.  Buyer responsible for any and all customs/duties

Payment Due: Within 24 hours

Escrow: Available at cost of buyer (prefer OgNasty or minerjones)

Note, this was verified in previous auction.  Watches are locked up and a pain in the ass to get verification for each auction.

Curious...is the price too high?  Or just no interest in these?

With BTC down, people are reluctant to spend and would rather accumulate at these prices. You’ll probably have better luck once bitcoin rebounds.

I'm not sure I agree with this, except that people may be a little freer with their coins.
For myself, I tend to price non-funded collectibles in fiat as I will always feel the need to replace watever BTC I spend on the purchase.
MHO for what it worth Smiley

I'm keeping an eye on this auction because the watches are dope and the collection is awesome!

I definitely see your point sweeteye. I see one of the OG whales picking up a beauty like this for a 1/4 or a 1/5 of the amount of bitcoin the OP is asking for once bitcoin rebounds. For a relative newbie like me it’s hard to justify using bitcoin to purchase a watch like this… I’d rather be accumulating btc right now. Once the price rebounds though, this watch would definitely look amazing on my wrist.  Wink
