I'm starting to consolidate my holdings into BTC. Currently I have native coin funds on a couple different chains (ETH, BNB, and AVAX).

Is there an easy way to get the funds converted and bridges to BTC while keeping the transactions anonymous? Obviously CEXs are out!

You can use a peer to peer exchange like bisq to maintain your anonymity. I know Ethereum is accepted on bisq, but not certain on the other altcoins.

Using a bridge between to obfuscate the trail of transaction can also help, this involves using a coin mixing service like chipmixer before sending to the decentralized exchange. This way, anyone monitoring the transaction would not know the source of the bitcoins which were inputs in it and cannot link it to an identity.

Thanks Upgrade, I'll look into bisq!

Bit of a shame that there's no way to do it all in one step but I'll take what I can get to maintain my privacy Smiley

Lately, you have to go "an extra step" in order to achieve some degree of privacy and anonymity.  Be very careful with the dexes that run on Ethereum and BSC. Most of them are centralized anyway but they will lie to you that they are decentralized.

Bisq is the real gateway to decentralized p2p exchanging.

You can also try the Currency exchange section of the forum.

Not much on offer, and, besides, you being a stranger to the forum should use a reputable escrow for the exchange, but I'd be the first place to look, since we're on the forum. You can create a post there and see if you have any offers.

But take note using mixer/coinjoin for additional privacy has trade-off where many centralized exchange/service would reject your account and demand lots of explanation/personal information so you can keep using their service or at least return mixed coin.
This is something every privacy inclined user should keep in mind. You might not have much problem s trading on a decentralized or P2P platform, but when trying to use a centralized exchange, you could hit some barriers.

This is one reason to check with a little amount of coins when making a transaction on an exchange first to ensure you can see it to completion, to avoid having your bitcoins locked on an exchange.

Personally, I would not trust most  of those bridges and I cannot recommend any.

P2p might also be insecure depending on your volume.

I would convert all my coins in a good cex and then I would use a bitcoin mixer to get privacy. I believe this is safer in most cases.

I've heard good things about ThorSwap(for swapping purposes, not much for earning off liquidity mining). I really can't vouch for it though because I'm having a very hard time getting Ledger Live to connect to ThorSwap. Maybe it would work better in your case. Proceed with caution and DYOR.

Do you have any idea if centralized exchanges (specially Binance) usually freeze or limit accounts of their clients in the case they make deposits with mixed satoshis?

I ask because I have got some mixed ones I got as reward for some review I made for a mixing service, but I am not sure if send them to Binance or any other centralized service.   Sad
