I think the difference between the link you shared and the one I did was the inclusion of penalty kicks scored but that is not what point I was trying to make. I was trying to talk about goals scored in the time of play and not penalty awarded. Penalty is like a free goal awarded for the player to take the chance of scoring. Freekicks are difficult obviously.

However it will make sense if Messi will come back in Canada, Mexico and USA world cup next tournament. Argentina should be coming as defending champion and that means it is an automatic appearance on the world cup and no competition about that.

That's true France is not just Mbappe,  it's alot more than that, there are very fine and experienced players that has contributed alot in this world cup and  in bringing France to the finals.

From all the matches in this world cup, Griezmann's performance was considered very neat and the most stable when compared to other players and he enjoyed his new role as a playmaker. from his 7 matches, Griezmann has a statistical rating above 7, and was twice the Man of the Match during the matches between Australia and Denmark. Likewise with Olivier Giroud, his performance was quite neat from match to match. it's just, I don't understand what Descamps was thinking during the final fight. It was Dembele who played very badly, but Giroud was also taken off in the 41st minute of the first half. though, it doesn't look that bad.

On the other hand, against England. Mbappe doesn't play much, in fact his performance is very unstable. especially when against Marocco, Mbappe was unable to score a single goal in these two matches. so, Griezmann and Giroud should also be given appreciation because thanks to them too, France was able to reach the final of the world cup.

I know that Håland is a very talented player. But I haven't watched him in action a lot, because normally I don't follow club football. I am mostly interested in international matches (FIFA World Cup, Euro Cup.etc) and Norway hardly ever qualifies for these tournaments. It is disappointing for players such as Håland, but he is not alone. Gareth Bale of Wales, Mohamed Salah of Egypt, Eldor Shomurodov of Uzbekistan, Riyad Mahrez of Algeria and Goran Pandeev of North Macedonia are examples of such talented players, who rarely gets opportunity to participate in global tournaments.

People most times argue blindly basically because of fan love and mbappe has been a very hard working player a d he also proved this eve in this just concluded world cup match.
