Which Crypto would you like to see more in Online Casinos?

I was on a crypto convention some years ago and met the guy behind the FUN token, he sold me this really good story on how they will revolutionize the casino industry once they launch fully. Now, god knows how many year later, I can still see them around, but instead of a "revolution" or "disruption", they are mostly just hovering around the industry.

Now, I'm aware that licensed casinos are tied to payment providers, and then they mostly use whichever currency that payment provider offers, but I personally would still love to see some exotic coins here and there. Something like WINk or Wagerr.

So, I wanted to ask the community in which coins would make the most sense to get implemented, which ones would you like to see more off?

LTC and Doge is enough I think. I don't really see much value in the other altcoins. These 2 coins however, are well known, fast and reliable. They are battle tested many times before. freebitco.in is using FUN but tbh I don't get the idea. To me it is just another shitcoin. Maybe it will become big later on, who knows... Why take the risk when you can use doge&ltc though? If you want safety, they are pretty safe. If you want cheap transactions, they are cheap af... What else a gambler would want?

There are a lot of factors at play that which causes a cryptocurrency token to be listed on casinos, transaction speed and interoperability are one of those. Most shitcoins already fail miserably at these factors so you can't just pick any dime a dozen cryptocurrency to be added to the currency pool of all casinos. If you'd ask me, I think the current system and token list that most casinos have is already great and would require minimal changes, or additions for that matter. Since the cryptos they have at their disposal are quite competent when it comes to interoperability, transaction efficiency, fees, and everything else. If a new or a current cryptocurrency could offer everything I have just said, then no questions asked, it would be the best crypto to include besides the ones we already have.

whatever crypto you want to add I prefer crypto with cheaper transaction fees, whether it's trx , xlm or matic and several others, but I prefer to bet using stablecoins because I see that the crypto market price is not good so using stablecoins at this time is better than with crypto, usually everyone always has their own crypto tastes

The current options for me is also more than enough. If the user wants low tx fees, LTC or TRX is a good one to use.
It is better if the coin is also available in most exchanges, so it would not be hard for the user to trade it with after coming from the casino.
The common problem with some casino tokens is their limited presence in exchanges, and also the fees involve is not really cheap.
The usual factors that a player wants to know are if the coin has low tx fees as well as its availability in most top exchanges.
Right now, I believe the options are just fine. Some casinos actually offer long list of payment methods, and more than likely, only few of them are used.

Most of the gambling based casino accept the Bitcoin for their. The reason behind this was very simple, bitcoin is the top most crypto currency over a period of decade.So many gambling website had accepted the Bitcoin.Even if you had win the Bitcoin in the casino, you can hold the Bitcoin. In case you are not using the coin for the casino.Most of the crypto currency had the importance in casino now are Usdt, trx,ripple, Ada and Matic. to be honest, looking at the many gambling sites issuing their respective tokens I see them putting up an impossible battle. it's better to focus on providing the top cryptocurrencies (like Bitcoin, BNB/BSC network, Tron network, ADA, and dogecoin) on a gambling site because these cryptocurrencies are preferred/trusted by many users.

the majority of gamblers don't want to spend money on the high fees charged to them, so I don't really like the ERC20 network on a gambling site.

The current cryptocoins that are being offered on a lot of casinos are actually more than enough. There aren't that much crypto coins that offer much utility and value to us anyway apart from the ones that we already have in the platforms. They offer the same (or sometimes better) speed in transactions plus their value is already proven in the market. I'd rather stick to those than on some fancy new coins out there in the market.

DOGE or LTC is only safe if you hold it in your personal wallet. Once you trust the coins to an exchange or casino, it is automatically no longer safe. It is probably profitable to use altcoins when the market is bullish. But at a time like this, I think stablecoins are the most comfortable to use. At least the risk remains the same, but the rate does not depend on price declines.

I agree with you point of view.
Most of the big casinos (like Stake itself) have a very good variety of tokens and coins one can use. I felt kind of surprised Stake accepted Uniswap and Shiba Inu when I first logged in.

This discussion on coin support could be endless because it depends too much on personal preferences, for example, I would like Monero to have more wide use but I know it is difficult for registered casinos to adopt it, because the rules and norms they are supposed to comply to.

It will be an endless suggestion but it should be bitcoin which is the most accepted and typical crypto to be accepted.

Yes I agree and I back it up 100% of gamblers are holders, investors, and users of Bitcoin it added to the popularity of a casino if they have Bitcoin as one of the accepted coins, if they do not accept Bitcoin, it will be placed are on the other board and that's the altcoin boards

And most crypto casinos if they only have a few crypto to support and accept, one of it will never be gone and that's bitcoin.

I'd say endless discussion because everyone has their own bias and some may say about the native tokens of the casinos if ever they had to be suggested.

I support these native Tokens but my loyalty will always be to Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency casinos is representing Bitcoin

It's like a competition and there's another economy being built upon the generation of new tokens made by the casinos. And if it becomes a major currency on their own platform, that's the use case of it and they're just following what's being planned.

While the others, they'll say about their most loved altcoin and that's for sure but I'm also sure that we all agree that having bitcoin is more than enough.

Yes that's true a casino can run with only Bitcoin, but they cannot sustain with other coins, people will always look for Bitcoin.

Before, the fee for a bitcoin tx was quite high and that's why the demand has gotten bigger for most altcoins. But this time, the fee is no longer a lot and that's why it should be it.

Well, there are a lot of coins to choose from and many will just copy and paste those coins and make it their post for the day, and many will surely end up discussing different coins and their function and what they think about that coin, but for my personal used, because I also got a few on my list that I have invested in and I surely want it to be a part of that Gambling site, and these type of coins have already landed and is being used in stake.com, and those coins are

1) Shiba Inu - this coin could potentially have a utility and can make a decent volatile movement when the bull market starts, and I know there are a lot of holders for this coin,

2) MATIC - being a decent coin now and currently sitting on $0.909545 USD, this utility is used to make ETH famous again, because of the high fees in ETH this is a potential exchange

3) UNI - I know this in a swap coin site, but I really love its potential and the way it exchanges a coins for me has a great utility in doing so,

I don't really see any tokens or coins that have great compatibility with gambling platforms as most cryptocurrencies are already great especially major tokens on casinos. As far as I know, FUN tokens were not originally made by Freebitco.in casino but rather they bought it as their own. For me, these kinds of tokens aren't really good investment coins like other coins out there, but they hold great value to gamblers of Freebitco.in as it offers bonuses and other great deals for gamblers such as additional spins.

Other tokens like BFG and OWL which are owned by their respective gambling platforms don't have a great market for investment purposes but rather a great opportunity for gamblers of these casinos. Hopefully, other great casinos will also make their own token like Stake.

If you ask a regular gambler, surely the most response you will get is those coins that they are already used on using.

That question of yours is only answerable if you will really do it on actual.

But for me, I'm not a fan of these "exotic coins" you are considering. I don't like to put my gambling activity into a bit of testing other coins on that tier.

In my opinion, there is no need to have a currency for online casinos since many of them usually offer the famous ones, such as bitcoin or USDT, as stablecoins to their users. All of these currencies have a great marketcap and users don't experience any problems within the platform on which they play them are some cryptocurrencies like BFG that are made for people to use for gambling. But if you ask me many people prefer using stablecoins like USDT because of having a stable price.

Some of those gambling sites which as their own token like for example owl games, fairspin and betfury are still known in the gambling industry and I think the one that help them even became more popular is their tokens. It isn't created for nothing but with the help of their token they can add additional functions such as staking, investing, mining and many more.

Apart of it, they also have those cryptos that you mentioned there because they know that there are people who just want to gamble and are not a fan of new tokens. Meanwhile, we have whale gamblers which doesn't really care at all if they will use eth and other erc20 tokens like tether and usdc.

The same thing goes for me, most of the top coins that several casino accept at the moment are already good and I don't see the need to have another since my only issue when making a deposit is usually the fees plus confirmation and there are already a bunch that fixes that issue. On the other hand, casinos are also willing to add more if it means more money for them so it's not that surprising to see that some of them would accept 20+ cryptocurrencies.

Honestly, if a centralized, custodial online gambling casino wishes to hold Cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin or stable-coins, then I find it completely unnecessary. Decentralized gambling. Thats where we need to be looking when discussing altcoins.

Altcoins are quite volatile. One way or another, the casino is at risk. Should something bad happen to the altcoins, this will reflect poorly on the casino profit. The first and best choice of casino should be one with their own stable coin/token. One that cannot be frozen or taken away. Something you could hold in your own wallet, instead of having to put into a third party wallet which could be taken away from you at any time.  The underlying market value could be consolidated by algorithmic injection/ejection of Bitcoin.

This way, the casino is ultimately not in control of the funds. Legally, this might take some responsibility off the casino owners and remove the paranoia of people who dislike storing their funds on a centralized (gambling) platform.

I don't want to support different kinds of tokens in different gambling sites. It is with proofs that many gambling tokens have lost so much value over the years. That means you are losing from gambling as well as from the tokens that you have acquired. FUN is one proof of this. It gained so much value around two years ago but then lost much of it afterwards. Aside from Bitcoin, I just prefer to just use the popular ones like Doge, LTC, XRP, and some stablecoins.

I'm perfectly fine with all the coin types they accept at the online casinos that I use.  I of course would always prefer bitcoin above anything else but I'd also like to see coins like Monero.  I don't know how hard it would to use Monero, as that takes a bit more skill to understand and I don't know how that would work legality wise.
