Reflection Trading

Next-gen Stoken Token Trading Platform

Reflection is a platform where you can purchase and redeem stock tokens. A stock token is a crypto token that represents a share of stock in a publicly traded company.

Advantages of Reflection.Trading Platform

Send tokens to others. Since Reflection stock tokens are ERC20 tokens, they can be sent from one crypto wallet to another.
Buy fraction shares. Reflection supports fractional shares.
Increased privacy. Buy stock tokens with more privacy than traditional stocks.
No bank account is required to trade with Reflection
Accessible globally. Buy or sell stock tokens for stocks on any exchange from anywhere in the world.

About Reflection Stablecoin - RUSD

In addition to stock tokens, we are also introducing a new stablecoin called RUSD. RUSD is backed 100% by a combination of cash and other stablecoins (namely, BUSD and USDC), which are themselves backed 100% by cash. When you redeem (sell) a stock token on Reflection, you receive RUSD in your wallet. RUSD can then be used to buy more stock tokens, or it can be converted back into another stablecoin, which can in turn be redeemed for cash. There is no fee for converting RUSD into another stablecoin. At this time, RUSD cannot be purchased with fiat currency on our site, but we hope to provide this functionality in the future.

RUSD is a stablecoin backed 100% by a combination of cash and other stablecoins (namely, BUSD and USDC).

When you redeem (sell) a stock token on Reflection, you receive RUSD in your wallet, which you can use to buy more stock tokens or convert into another stablecoin for free.
Join Reflection.Trading Today to Trade Your Favourite US Stocks!

Whether you are an investor, a crypto trader or invest in stocks, Reflection gives you the best of both worlds by combining the benefits of the stock market price action with the advanced features & functionalities of cryptocurrencies.

Why Invest in US stocks?

There are many reasons for Indian investors to own US stocks. In the last decade, Wall Street’s S&P500 index has delivered returns of around 210%, while India’s equivalent the Nifty 50 returned around 164% for the same period. You can diversify your domestic portfolio by purchasing US equities or ETFs.

I'll start with one of the very basic DD of the team, am I correct that your LinkedIn profile is this one? It seems like it, given several points on the profile matched your WP's profile.

Can you please help assure us that you're indeed the real Peter Spiro and not just borrowing his identity without his knowledge by updating your work experience on LinkedIn with this project?

Just a nice and polite reminder that I asked you something crucial right above your post. I really hoped you simply missed my post --although I couldn't understand how, as they're quite eye catching-- instead of avoiding it.

Hello, this is my third and last call for you to help me with the question of Mr. Spiro, I really hope you can address the question this time as I don't want to became suspicious of your project's credibility. As I also still have several other things to be asked, I really hoped this is a simple misunderstanding and you can confirm the question of connection with Spiro on your next post so we can move on to other topic.

Hello, all, sorry for the delayed response. I am Peter Spiro, founder and CEO of Reflection.trading.
You can view my LinkedIn profile here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/peteraspiro/

I live in the US, but the site will be released initially only in India, with support in other countries hopefully to follow soon after.
The site can be accessed here: https://reflection.trading. It is functional, but only on the Goerli test network.

You can get some Goerli_ETH and some fake BUSD for paper-trading here: https://reflection.trading/mint/%3Cyour_wallet_address%3E
(Just copy-and-paste your wallet address at the end of the URL)

I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

-Peter Spiro

Hi, thank you for creating a new account here just to tell us about this, although simply updating your LinkedIn as you've already did is enough, as we can now move forward, there's one technical thing that I don't quite understand from your proposal. It is stated that the buyer of those shares are not entitled to the actual share, which I assume will be due to the name on the said shares will be you. Suppose someone holding it long term, how will this affect their annual tax report? Given they actually didn't officially possess the shares, yet they actually owned it

Great question. You are correct in that Reflection is the owner of the shares. The trader is the owner of the stock token, which in India is called a VDA (virtual digital asset), same as Bitcoin or Ethereum. If you google "VDA taxes in India," you will find many articles discussing the taxation of these assets. However, to be completely safe, you would probably want to consult with your accountant.

-Peter Spiro

(Here's one article on VDA taxes)

I actually meant to ask for a bigger scope and not limited to India, as you stated that India is your first marker and you'll work your way to operate globally. But sure, let's talk about India first before moving to the bigger scope.

I took a quick glance at the arcticle you provided, and am I correctly understand that VDA applies a 30% tax plus 1% holding tax, while stock trading --the conventional ones-- are subjected to 10-15% tax?

You are correct that there is a 1% TDS. We are required to collect this tax upon sale of the stock tokens. I can't say whether or not the other percentages are correct as I'm not an expert on India taxes.
