Does anyone here day trade crypto successfully whilst working a full time job? I have medium experience with trading crypto and over the last few weeks have been mainly using the TradingView scalping indicator from https://cryptochiefs.io with good results. The problem is that I find it really difficult to manage the trades properly whilst working as they move fast any normally require that I am watching the screen. Kind of thinking I either need to forget about the idea or scale up from where I am and go full time. Those of you with normal jobs, are you day trading or mainly long term crypto investors/ HODLers?!!

Im a day trading but i were not doing it regularly. I just try to buy at the bottom and waiting until my sell orders will be eaten once the pump will be coming out. The day for trading signal has gone and i never used the trading signal. I just do it by myself. Mostly of trading signals were scam but i have a question about that. Was it a mandatory mentioning your trading signal here? It's better if you can do it by yourself but it seems like that you are not feeling worried to be scammed by the trading signal caused by mostly of trading signal was foolowing their followers by giving opposite signal. I thought that if trading signal already gone lol.

If you have a full time job, then you're better off just trading on the side. Take the time out of your day to look over charts and analyze the market so you can develop a strategy, but then go back to your normal job. You don't have to trade every day, but at least set aside a few minutes each day to keep an eye on the market and make sure you're not missing out on a big opportunity. It all depends on how much time you have and how much money you want to put into it. Start with small amounts of money and work up to larger amounts.

Basically you can't assume anything with weeks of experience alone so better focus on your job than day trading. You can let the bot to help you in certain cases if you think you're having good strategies to make money or just go for short term trading like only doing on weekends or just put the order and let it to execute on your desired price instead of doing so much effort which can be certainly exhaustive over the period of time.

I am a day trader and also a worker in a company, maybe here I will start with tips to be more effective at working and trading crypto. the most basic thing here is time management, for example, you use your time to work for 8 full hours a day from 08.00 am to 3.00 pm. of course there will be time for you to trade at night before you sleep, for example from 20:00-22:00 this is far more effective when compared to trading together with doing work that is your priority income.

If you have a job and a steady income then you should trade in your free time and not conflict with your job. Or you can become an investor who holds coins in the long term that will be very helpful in my opinion. Because it is not easy to divide your time when you have obligations to the company where you work. Do not let things like this make your obligations neglected. I'm sure if you can manage your time well, then you can trade without having to disturb your work and rest time. If you get 2 days off a week you can use a day off to start trading. And I must remind you, you also have to set the time for how long you will trade, don't let your rest time be disturbed too.

I almost did back in 2018. I have full-time job while I was doing crypto trading, day trading to be specific. I have not used any indicators that much except from what Binance provided us like Bollinger Band and RSI. Not sure if people still use those but yeah. Turned out to be shit since I was too focused to what the tutorial wanted me to do and not entirely my own decision and yes, it is entirely my fault from what happened from that. Just sharing my experience so yeah!

I believe in long term investment than scalping or day trading. Because that will make a huge profit with a highest return. But scalping always don't work properly and it needs to do more technical analysis.

I think trading is manageable with full time job because you don't need to sit in front of computer screen if you are long term investors or swing trader. Swing trading is different from day trading, in swing trading , we mostly use technical chart on weekly time frame. I usually use support and resistance chart and set my limit orders accordingly. Once your order is executed, you will get alert from exchange and you can set new order whenever you are free.

I think you have to do one thing at a time. Or separate these things so that they don't conflict with each other. For example, you can work at your main job and trade during one of the sessions that happens outside of working hours, such as the Asian or American trading sessions. If you try to trade during working hours, it will have a negative effect on your work and your deposit, because trading requires a lot of attention and cold-bloodedness.

I have a very normal job so to trade it as a side in the spare time that I have I can't do this for both because the mind is never going to focus the rest of the time I'm more of a long term investor. When there is good trading potential, I usually take the time but this is not what I do daily because the time will be divided in a bad way so I can't say trading and work are equated at the same time.

I tried scalping, but the profit there is very small, and sometimes the time spent on it does not pay off. I think that over time you will increase the trading interval, because it is very tiring. Sometimes a simple hodling brings much more profit than various trading strategies, but most people do not have the patience to buy and do nothing.

If there is anyone able to do that, it must be that his/her job is not very demanding, in other words, he/she has a lot of free time to burn on the job, and he might as well utilize that time trading. I think for you to be really successful in trading, it is better to be fully committed, that is making it a full-time job with no distractions.

It's easier to be chill and be an investor and then trade when it's necessary to take profits. You don't have to fully invest all of your time watching the charts. Watch it when you've got time and prepare your plans beforehand. If you're having a hard time doing two things at the same time then take one step at a time so that you won't be confused. Trading won't require you to do it and become a day trader, you can buy right now and wait until it gives you profit or the price goes up, it may take a couple of days or weeks, or months and from there, it's up to you whether you're obliged to do it daily. Do the strategy that works for you.

Trading does not need time and can be done through bots, so there is no need for you to stay in front of the screen all day, simply you can do something else and this thing may be a full time job.
As for laying off a job, it depends on variables such as your age, do you have a family, your country, standard of living, and your capital. For example, 100 dollars is considered the average price in one country and is not enough for you for a day in another country. Therefore, the return from daily trading will be easy because you collect 100 dollars a month, and it is impossible to collect it daily (in the normal situation).

If you really want and like to do trading even with a full-time job, I suggest you do long-term trading/Hodling as that didn't need your full time, because you had to go and check the trades whenever you want to check, but in day trading, you must have to give some time, unless you are going in a well-deserved way.

Does anyone here day trade crypto successfully whilst working a full time job?
Yes, I was previously a day trader and I had a full-time job and things were going well. I just put pending orders and leave the screen and go back to my job. You just have to organize your time and to develop your trading plan and the currency pairs that you will trade and your strategy and allocate some of your rest time to monitoring your trades. The matter only takes a few minutes of certainty that you will not spend the whole day looking at the screen or searching for opportunities and looking at the chart and your orders and deals. For me, it did not take long, and of course, the situation of each person differs from the other and differs from one job to another, only with time you will adapt between your full job and your daily trading. You should know that a good trader does not exaggerate in trading and entering deals. He waits and waits.

It was not really I called myself a successful trader for I'm not doing it full time as I was giving more time in my job than doing this. But yes, it still doing well. As we are in this situation, we have to manage our time wisely as trading needs focus and I would suggest just trading if you have ample of time to set in front of your computer, during a break, or on a day off. The longer time you spend on the market can give you a way to analyze the movement of the market which is a huge advantage.

Having a day job and doing trade is good. When one is into full time job and looks for profit out of trading it is an easy thing to be done. Because, the day job brings regular money and with trading it is possible to make small revenue that can help in shaping the life.
When trading is done addition to the day job one can set a price and leave it. The execution of the trade can take little time whereas daily traders need to be observing closely.

If you have a full time job you can't make a decent profit when trading but instead try to buy and sell or just invest and wait for the right time to sell. Trading is just like a job but it depends on what strategy you are using to make profit and having a full time job may hinder your ability to make profit but you are making money by doing your full time job although, the difference only is the money you are making compared to when you are trading.
