As I said early it would go to zero far more likely than go to 100.

If the encryption became slovable it would go to zero. Not 100.

Maybe the encryption is  crackable. So I give a shot for zero since it could be crackable.

That means zero is possible. It means zero is far more likely to happen than 100 dollar value.

So I kind of feel this thread is about a really unlikely possibility.

I can honesty state the title attracts me only to complain that the number picked makes no sense.

My opinion is we could drop to 7-9k with the correct real world pressures occuring.

Exactly, Bitcoins can’t fall for that much low amount. The reason for which I am saying this is that, the marketcap of Bitcoins are very high. So if Bitcoin touches anyhow 10k usd, then more people will continuously buy and this will lead to more buy orders than sell orders and hence price will be again pushed back. Really hard to believe that Bitcoins price would go back into a hundred bucks but well everything is a possibility because if Bitcoin does have that huge major problem or something that correlates about technical exploits

that would be uncovered or something that correlates to it, then if the community do lost its trust for this project then it wouldn't be surprising that sooner or later it would really be heading its value into the floor.

But basing up on what it is really behaving today and the demand and recognition then it is really hard to believe on for it to reach that state.

There are too many companies, developers, workers, investors and enthusiasts involved on this market, what makes it completely impossible to retreat to a stage bitcoin was during its initial years of existence. Bitcoin is taken seriously even by its biggest criticizers because they know the potential of the digital currency. I believe if it were possible for bitcoin to lose so much price, it wouldn't have the respect of the global financial category, like it currently has.

Put on a bet for Zero price BTC and it should get pretty good odds I think and also its worth to do this as it will be some kind of long term hedge.   Surely everything man made has flaws in it so who knows it can happen possibly, or like people reference quantum computing and it turns out to change the world so drastically that BTC then ceases to exist.    I dont reckon that happening in this next decade but call it insurance, the bet pays if it all falls apart so sure place it.

If we really begin to think about it we can realize that at no point during our lives there are guarantees, and as such we need to take a calculated risk on everything we do, so can we be absolutely sure bitcoin will not reach a price of 100 dollars for each coin at some point in the future? No, however this is very unlikely.

So with this in mind we can invest in bitcoin and make a safe guess that such a scenario is simply too unlikely to take into consideration, and it should not affect whatever investment strategy we may have developed to profit from this market.

Looking at the current growth in bitcoin adoption which is growing every year then of course this becomes a basic potential if the price of bitcoin will not drop to a price of $ 100, basically we all know that more and more enthusiasts of bitcoin will make the price increase so I never think if the bear market that we are facing right now will make bitcoin lose its price because the decline that is happening at this time is only temporary and later when the market has recovered it will definitely make the price of bitcoin increase again.

Bitcoin exist for just more than a decade and it hasn't even reached the Global adoption yet, where it became one of the mainstream option for payment or means to transfer money. And that is what we call bitcoin cycle, every 4 years after the block halving regardless of what the current price is, will go shoot for a new all time high. So very slim chance that we will see $100 again, perhaps in it's early years yeah, but as the years past by and as people see how bitcoin is for the future the price started to rise up and maybe in the next bull run, we will see 6 digits.

Bearish is normal in any market, but it doesn't mean that the market itself can't bounce back, you can see it even in stocks and other financial and traditional market.

actually there are no guarantees, everyone has their own speculation, for now it is likely that btc will continue to fall, but it will not reach $ 50, for some people who have a lot of capital this is the right time to invest in btc , because in my opinion the price of btc is not will fall further from the current price.

actually there are no guarantees, everyone has their own speculation, for now it is likely that btc will continue to fall, but it will not reach $ 50, for some people who have a lot of capital this is the right time to invest in btc , because in my opinion the price of btc is not will fall further from the current price. 

Yes, there is no guarantee, but for bitcoin to drop to such a low, we need a cause, and I can't think of any reason for bitcoin to drop that much. In my opinion, that will never happen and I dare to tell OP about it. As soon as bitcoin drops to $10k, people will rush to the season, and just like that, bitcoin price will sustain above $10k, there will even be a giant Fomo causing bitcoin to skyrocket.
