Demo Account, Should Not Be Related To A Real Account

This was one of my thoughts when I was thinking of using virtual account to trade or at least practice my day trading knowledge. Now I know why I was right that I should not used those as it is entirely a different experience when you trade with your own real money rather than the other way around.
When using demo account, you might not give a shit at all on how much you lose since you are not losing money anyway.
The mental pressure is different when you are using your own money for real.

Yes, so if you are not careful trading while using a demo account can generate bad habits which can be near impossible to get rid of.

I think that this in part explains why newbies make so many mistakes when they trade using real money, if they begin to use a demo account they take risks that are too high, and if they happen to be lucky in a few traders suddenly they feel that trading is easier than what they thought, and believe that if they follow the same kind of strategy while using their money they will be as successful as when they were trading with a demo account, and such a thing is false.

That's true. Demo account is for practicing and not for learning the basics. Risk management kind of basics of trading should be learned from books or mentors and beginners should apply those basics in demo account to familiarize themselves into trading ecosystem. This way they could avoid bad habits.

Its normal to have a different result since you are already dealing with the current market situation and yes its expected to have losses even if you already know the trading strategies your goal should not always making profit, your goal should be more effective and consistent because in trading there’s always a bad trade.

Also on the demo account I don't think the situation corresponds to reality,
demo account is just a place to learn so don't take it as a parameter,
for sure when real trading then we will feel the difference

A demo is still related to reality but not the money because it is just a practice also most of the others said that you don't feel anything while trading, unlike the real one where you feel all the stress and pressure which is true but still depends on the trade because there are a trader that doesn't want to risk their money first or has still no confidence so they will try it first and the other one is to feel it and also they can easily learn while using the real account but still it is on trader preference since my preference is trying to demo account before depositing money.

One of the factor inside real trading account is the pressure that you need to overcome, just like how you described it, that pressure always influence the way you decide, without real experienced how to handle pressure the chance that you will fail to pick the right thing when you are in the middle of tough decision making.

When we’re in Demo we don’t really mind what will happen in any decisions we do in trading, but if we actually do it we put some doubts in our decision whether to trade it or risk more in it. It will depend us if we will take demo account seriously which can help in improving our decision making ability. I definitely agree on what you had said about emotional aspects on which on demo, you wont really be that afraid on having those losing trades or mistakes or errors because

They neglect to see the risk as what is in their mind is to become millionaires in what they see and hear from social media. A person who thinks like this will easily get slip and lose hope.

Yep it depends on who are using the demo account. Some treats the fake assets on the liquidity account as their so they can have the discipline they need to trade. I personally suggest people who want to learn trading to use demo trading account since they can learn a lot of things there without risking any of their assets. Of course there are people who are being over confident just because it is a demo account and somehow they bring that over confident characteristic in real trading that's why some traders who came from demo trading product bad habits on trading. It will all depend on the people who use that. I highly suggest to learn the fundamentals of trading first especially the psychology of trading to avoid developing those bad habits.

Demo and real accounts should always be separate. The former urges you to be bolder and braver in your trading decisions whereas the latter needs you to think things a lot of times over before you execute the trade. Real accounts have no safety net nor training wheels the demo account provides, and mistakes are costly as it involves real money that is constantly at stake.

They heavily apply the principles and lessons they were taught in demo accounts that does not apply when it comes to trading with real money. In demo accounts, the platform will always tell you to go for that trade, close that position, enter a new price point without hesitations because it pushes you to take the first step. By doing so, some people who worked with demo accounts thought that it's always okay to apply these principles on their trades without knowing that it puts them at risk of losing money faster than they do on demo accounts.
